Embers slamed his head into the door and sighed, he had found out what was wrong with the door and laughed as he walked over to the group. "Hey guys, Incase you havnt noticed, the door is jamed, so were kinda stuck on here for the rest of the day" He said with a laugh

She saw the door,and she knew what was happening

"That door has been always with that problem...hehe..."

She chuckled a bit,and then she came to the door

"I think i have an idea to open the door,but i need a bit of time,and your help..."

She started to make things with the door,hoping that she could fix it

Embers shook his head as he took a step back from lightwing "Uhhhhhh...Sorry, but im no engineer, thats why im a gunner, because all I know how to do is hold down something untill the other thing explodes" He said as he tilted his eyebrow, looking at light he shook his head

"The only reason it hasn't been fixed is because I can never find the darn blow torch, and the higher ups are just all like 'oh you can't have one untill you fill out five thousand forms and wait nine month by which time the war will probably be over' so yeah, I'm just gonna stick with it."

Embers chuckled as he looked over at times "If we do get down before the war ends, I could loan you one of them" He said with a smile as he walked around "Well, Im gunna go read some, come get me if you need me to shoot down anything" He said with a yawn as he walked around

She was still trying to fix the door,but it was broken,so she only saw one evident solution...

"Go far away!!!"

She gave to the door a kick with all of her forces,breaking it.

"Now it should open for sure "

She left the cockpit,and came to her cabin,to read a book that she always wanted to read...

Embers face palmed before turning around and walking around the plane for a little bit more before smiling as he glanced over at lightwing. He walked back to his desk and sat down, pulling out a paper and starting to wright about what all was going on on the plane and he shook his head

Sky Cutter looked around the cockpit to double check that everything was in order, the last thing he wanted was a damaged plane, the second to last thing was damaged passengers.

 

"I feel like something is broken, besides the door i mean" he said to the other two.

It seemed like an eternity,but she ended reading the book from her father...

"It was true after all that you loved the skies..."

She left her cabin and came to the cockpit again

"Sky Cutter.You talked before about something broken on this plane.What was it?"

Embers scoffed as he walked out of the cockpit, smirking as he walked back to his room and looked down at her crowbar, then back over to the two talking. He smiled and pulled out a book, then walked over to the window and gazed out it for awhile before walking around

"oh the door, is broken, we need a blow torch, but I keep looking for something we don't have haha! you know how sometimes when your hungry you go to the fridge, open it but there is nothing in there you want to eat, yet you keep opening it over and over for some reason?"

She laughed at all the complainings of Sky

"Trust me.This ol' plane can survive to a few broken doors.

This plane has flew more than any of the other ones."

She looked through the window

"Do you know the name Starlight?He was my father,and one of the heroes of this war..."

Embers walked back to his room before grabbing another bottle of cider and fell over on the bed before stumbling to his feet then walking to the cockpit "Hey guys, Im gunna get drunk, you too have fun, Ill shoot you if you blow up anything with out me *hick*" He giggled as he walked back to his room and locked to door, setting down the bottle and grabbing a book

"sounds familiar, I've read just about everything having to do with planes."

Sky Cutter Rubbed the back of his neck trying to remember where he heard the name before, he never was good with names anyway.

"sorry, I just remember seeing the name somewhere."

She looked at him sadly

"Well...not many people knew his name...but his nickname is still famous between the pilots of this war"

She looked again at the book

"Skybreaker...the one who desroyed over 50 B-18 alone,and with only 3 soldiers inside his plane...this plane..."

Embers looked out through his window while tears streamed down his face. He put his head in his hoofs and walked over to the bed, happy that he had locked to door as he stuck his face into the pillows before closing his eyes and wondering if getting drunk would be better

"Yes! I knew it, I knew I heard the same somewhere before, was it 3 including him or was it him and then 3 others? and your dad? you lucky son of a gun, must be so cool to have him as a father. and 50, that's impressive even with a B-17."

Sky Cutter Stared at Lightwing in awe.

She was smirking

"He was the best flyer i've ever seen..."

But then a tear feel fro. her face

"But he has been missing for years...That's the reasom of why i'm a soldier.I want to find him..."

She cried even more

"He taught me everything i know...How to survive...How to be a good leader...everything..."

Embers shrugged and half laughed half cryed as he walked over to the desk and grabbed the drink, it had seemed like lightwing hadnt cared, so he shrugged and drunk half of it before falling over laughing. He slowly stood up and looked out the window before looking around

Sky cutter then realizes his usual insensitive self and reacts as he supposed anypony would "missing? I didn't know about that, I'm... I'm sorry."

He hated these kind of situations.

"well, at least you got to know him right? and he's missing, and not dead, he could be surviving, in some jungle, on an adventure home, to find you."

She remembered then his personality

"He was stuborn...as anybody else you'll know on your life.He have to be alive.He wouldn't die that easy..."

She sat on the copilot chair and started to fly a bit

"Why don't you take a rest.You've flew for a long while,and it can be seen on your face that you need some rest"

Embers laughed as he rolled around on the floor, his mane was all wet from his tears, but he didnt care anymore. He got up and giggled before hicking and walking over to the door, unlocking it and looking around before falling face first out of it then looking over at lightwing

"oh, fine, but if anything exciting happens in the slightest, I want to be part of it, and that's an order" he said jokingly.

Sky Cutter got up and felt dizzy, suddenly realizing just how tired he really was, he forgot about sleep in the excitement of being in the cockpit. he closed his eyes with heavy sleep and made his way to somewhere more comfortable. he then felt something wet, he opened his eyes and looked at the floor. then to the bed, then back at the floor.

"You ok Embers?"

Embers hicked as he looked over at times at the puddle of tears around him with another hic he looked around and laughed "Yeah, im fine" He said with a laugh as he stood up, stumbling to the wall and looking around "Untill lightwing finds me drunk" He said with a sigh

"I suggest you hide then HAHA! there is a storage area beneath the floor, next the the bomb bay doors. anyway if you need me... well good luck, I put bears to shame when it comes to how deep of a sleeper I am"

He sleepily waved his hoof in what seemed to be a goodnight wave before waddling off to bed.
