"Well of course, the same goes for Changelings too, Serenity's father is full Changeling, and she is half Changeling, yet they are two of the nicest, most caring ponies you will ever meet. Especially Serenity, she is just so full of love and care for those around her.." Scarlet explains as she hears a little whimper come from Serenity in her sleep. "shh, shh, it's okay love, mummy's here, dream of kittens and puppies" she soothingly coos to Serenity.

Times looked at Serenity "Is she having a bad dream?" Times asked with a concerned look, "If she is... I think I have a way to help." Times said remembering how his mother use to help him when he had nightmares when he was a foal. Sabertooth tilted his head when he heard Serenity whimper

"I think she is, most likely about being alone. You see.." she covers Serenity's ears, "despite her being so adorable and lovable, she finds it very hard to make friends, because of being half Changeling, that is why I was so happy to see her playing with Sabertooth so well and having fun." she says, uncovering her ears and kissing her forehead

"I know how that feels..." Times said as he looked at her. Times looked at Serenity and said "but I'm sure that she will make friends soon, it just takes time." Times said. Times smiled slightly and whispered "Don't worry Serenity... you won't be alone, Sabertooth and I will always be here for you."

Serenity then smiles in her sleep and stops whimpering, "aaaw, that did the trick, thanks love. It tears me up inside whenever she is sad or lonely" she leans over and kisses him, the waitress then returns with their deserts, "Here you go, aaw she's such a little darling, by the way is your puppy allowed dog safe chocolate?"

"No, I have tried giving it to him and well... long story short My bed smelled like bad chocolate for 2 weeks..." Times said. Sabertooth looked up at the waitress and shook his head. 'I don't really like chocolate anyway, It makes my tummy grumble and hurt....' Sabertooth thought

The waitress chuckles, "very well, is there something he likes and is allowed to have, that he would like for desert? I feel kind of bad leaving him out of desert"

 

Scarlet smiles and gently nuzzles Serenity, "Desert sweety"

Serenity rubs her eyes, "O-okay mummy"

Times thought for a second. "hmm...." Times thought about what sabertooth would like. Sabertooth looked up at Times and thought that this would be the perfect time to be able to speak, but being a dog he can't. Times looked down to Sabertooth and asked "What would you like for desert?"

Serenity giggles, "I'll ask him daddy" She then thinks to Sabertooth, "sweety, what would you like for desert?"

 

Scarlet chuckles and kisses Times, "I wonder what goes on inside of Serenity's mind sometimes, but I never use my powers to pry, that would be wrong"

Sabertooth looked at Serenity and thought 'I'm not really hungry, that bone filled me up...' Sabertooth looked down at his stomach.

 

Times pet Sabertooth and looked at Serenity but continued to think. Sabertooth felt fat from the bone and yawned before laying down

Serenity giggles, "It's okay, he's full" She then sees her desert "mm yummy, thank you"

The owner smiles, "aaw you're always such a polite and sweet little filly" She kisses her forehead before leaving

Scarlet digs into her own desert, "mm this is good," she says with a smile

Times tasted some of it and smiled. Sabertooth jumped down from Times' lap and laid down. 'I'm too full and fat right now to do anything...' Sabertooth closed his eyes and yawned. Times looked at Sabertooth and smiled before petting him. Sabertooth wagged his tail slowly

Scarlet smiles as she finishes her desert and waits for the others, she picks Sabertooth up and starts to play with him, rubbing his fat little tummy, "who's a chubby puppy, you are, yes you!" she says playfully as she nuzzles her nose to his, "but mummy loves you"

Times finished his dessert and said "Now I feel fat..." Times chuckled. Sabertooth slowly wagged his tail and yawned. Times looked at Scarlet and smiled. Sabertooth closed his eyes and barked tiredly and closed his eyes. Times looked at Sabertooth and chuckled.

Scarlet smiles, "well, it's off to the plushy store then, it won't take long, the owner there is an expert" She gets up, leaving a tip and then walks over to the door, she had put Sabertooth down and scooped Serenity up in her arms, along with her new toys. She sighs happily at the adorableness of Serenity sleeping.

Times picked up sabertooth and smiled. "Okay, let us go then, Lets make the plush a surprise since they are both sleeping." Times said. Sabertooth snored silently and was dreaming about chasing squirrels. Sabertooth was running in his sleep and Times chuckled

"Good idea, ooh they're going to love their presents, come on lets go" She carried Serenity gently in her arms, careful not to wake her up, "shh, shh, sleep now little angel, dream of kittens and puppies, dream of dolphins and fishes" she coos to her as they walk to the plushie store.

Times followed and looked down at Sabertooth and smiled. Sabertooth was wagging his tail as he slept. Times looked around and continued walking. He  readjusted his glasses and looked at Scarlet. "I lived in this town for the first 15 years of my life and I lived above it the rest of my life so far, and I never noticed a plushie store or that restaurant until now"

"The restaurant is pretty new still, and the plushie store is kind of hidden" Scarlet explains as they walk, gently humming to Serenity, when they reach the plushie store, as they walk in the clerk smiles at them, "Hello ma'am, sir, what can I do for such a lovely couple this fine evening?"

"Hello" Times said to the owner. Times looked around the shop. This is a really impressive shop...  Times thought before looking down at then sleeping Sabertooth and petted him. Sabertooth was wagging his tail slowly in his sleep.

Scarlet smiles, "We would like two plushies please, one of this little angel here" she says stroking Serenity's mane, "and one of that little puppy too, its for each of them, for when our little godfilly goes home with her mummy and daddy"

The clerk smiles, "Certainly ma'am, that will be 200bits and will take approximately an hour"

Times looked at Scarlet "Let me pay for it" Times pulled out his wallet and set 200 bits on the counter. Times smiled at Scarlet and re-adjust his glasses. Times looked around again and Sabertooth yawned in his sleep.

Scarlet smiles and kisses Times, "That is very kind of you love" she says as she sits down and waits the hour. The store clerk smiles as he takes the bits and disappears out the back of the store. About an hour later, he returns with two life size plushies, one of Serenity and one of Sabertooth, "My best work yet, I hope they enjoy them"

Times looked at the plushies, then down at Sabertooth and then to Serenity. Times then looked back up at the plushies and repeated 2 times. "wow, these are really good. No... They are great." Times said with a smile.
