I think the closest they will ever get to that is cuty marks. I mean come on people you can't "make yourself get a cuty mark." "Everypony's cuty mark comes with time." They are trying to relate to what we are all thinking, but not directly saying it, and without younger children catch the drift. It's subtle but its there, but they are not going any closer
