So, this fall will premire Studio Ghibli's Ronja the Robber's Daughter. It is based off a children's book from the 1980's in the belovedly majestic Scandinavian setting. If you do not know the story, check out the basic premise from wikipedia or read the book (if you can locate one). I am here to promote discussion of Studio Ghibli's first full endeavor into episodic anime as well as where you think the studio is going with Hayao Miyazaki's retirement and subsequent swan song, The Wind Rises.

What are your hopes for the anime? What do you think Goro is going to do with the studio? What do you think of his work seperate from his father's? If you haven't had a taste of his work, I reccomend watching Up From Poppy Hill (if you are into school love stories), or Tales From Earthsea (For action/adventure, especially if you have read the book. You may be confused if you haven't read the original book).

Goro is directing this anime, that's why I am bringing him up....

So yeah, let's talk :D and when the anime airs this fall, we can talk about how its going :3
