I am presently looking for 4-7 persons who would be willing to play in an RP session I will be hosting.

 

This is an extension of a planning thread I posted http://mlpforums.com/topic/92448-in-a-world-of-monsters-and-robots-you-are-the-tiny-horse/

 

Here are the finalized details/rules.

 

1. Characters must be a unicorn, earth pony or pegasus.

 

2. There will be a GM avatar played by myself in the form of http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/ochre-dust-r6110 who can be questioned within the Role Play itself to provide exposition and guidance for the characters.

 

3. The session takes place in a future where invasive plant and animal species are slowly spreading across the Americas. This has led to humans starting violence against ponies and other Equestrian species who had tried to contain the outbreak in the early years. Dangers will include mythological monsters both from the show and supplemented from other sources: Timberwolves, trolls, wyrms and more can be present, and can harm or impede player progress. Furthermore there will be futuristic threats such as robots, cyborgs, attack drones and more.

 

4. To counter the difficulties of the threats players will be facing, their pony characters will be permitted impressive physical feats. An earth pony will be able to push, shove, or even through full-sized sedans or pull a train car for a distance, or be able to quickly grow food for their fellow characters. Pegasi can fly and form storms or clear away bad weather. Unicorns will have a vast array of spells provided you can provide some link to their special talent. Generally what a player can manage to successfully accomplish will be determined on the GM's discretion. It would be accurate to say that puzzle solving and creative thinking will be major elements of this Role Play. More difficult tasks will be subject to decision by a die (Random Number Generator), with the final result and description of the action being posted to the RP.

 

5. This RP can go in a number of general directions, from adventure, to slice-of-life to romance. As such remember to keep the content Safe For Work (Or Woona). However do be prepared for minor blood and gore, along with kissing/flirting as your fellow players allow. That said, and perhaps needless to say, god-modding other player's behaviour is frowned upon and can get you kicked from the RP if it becomes a problem.

 

6. In signing up please provide a link to your character's profile for final approval.

 

7. Once we have four players, I can start an RP thread and this thread can be altered into an OOC chat.

Due to a lack of interest from the community, I shall be cancelling this game, and coming up with something that might suit a broader audience, while still appealing to fundamentals of this idea in mixing My Little Pony with some aspect of science fiction.
