Possible theme to season 5? Mythology!?

So we've all seen the final episodes of season four by now (if you haven't then run now this may have spoilers) ,but I am wondering if anyone else notices all of the mythology in it? lets me enplane during the very end we have twilight having her new home and powers given to her by a box right? well what if we say the box was a rock and everything that twilight got was from a sword (the power she and her friends got) does this ring any bells? I think next season will have a lot of influence from the tale of Arthur Pendragon King of knights and lord of Britain before it was taken by the Saxons. I mean the sighs are there we already got a round table and her knights as well as a mission for her and a new castle of sorts right? not to forget Olympian hell with its guardian had a role in this as well. So what do you all think? are we going to see more of our fare Twilight Pendragon and maybe this gods of old?

That would be an interesting turn. I was thinking of something like that when I saw the table, but my mind thought of the council chairs of the justice league, specifically the animated show. You know the one...the badass one.

I didn't even think about that... but superhero's are really getting over done this day do you think they really would follow that?

also yes if we're thinking the same one with out aqua man being a big guy then yes it was the best one

Well, MLP was filled with mythological elements since the start, but who knows if they make more mythos heavy this season

Sounds like a theme that I would want to see, since the show has a lot of mythology from Ancient Greece. So, they should definitely add more.

Applebloom faces down a chimera-like monster,

And there is Discord, who also seems to draw heavily from a "Dracon" like figure,

I think they'll add more refences

yes more monsters and great mythical beasts! we've had a lot of greek ones lets see some other like sphinx maybe even take the ultimate chimera from earthbound

Not a lot, but I think the show's mythology is from Ancient Greece and possibly from the Old Mayan Ruins, in the Daring Don't episode specifically. I don't think that a Britain tone will be shown in Season 5, unless there is a reference to their history to show us.

well thats just it though I think they are going to use the Britain story as a now thing not the past kinda like how they ended with twi's house turning and the 6 of them all having a site this time but then again we really wouldn't have a problem with it all being mayan and greek
