books 2014 is Christmas for Spider-Man fans!

I'm not sure if many of you here keep up with comics but let me tell you what's going on

1. Peter's back as Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man has been relaunched.

2. The Ultimate Universe may have been destroyed but as Miles Morales has escaped to the Marvel Mainstream Universe his adventures will continue on there. The title Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man was just launched.

3. The following contains spoilers for Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #1:

After five years Ultimate Peter Parker has been brought back from the dead and wants to take back the mantle as (Ultimate) Spider-Man. I'll be honest guys I'm not sure how I feel about this one since they handled his death very well in the Ultimate Spider-Man Comics. There's also two major problems with this as in the Marvel Ultimate Universe the dead usually stay dead and most importantly, as I said earlier, the Marvel Ultimate Universe was destroyed meaning Petey here is also running around in the Marvel Mainstream Universe meaning we have ANOTHER Spider-Man running around in it.

4. If you enjoyed Superior Spider-Man and it seems after that rough start a lot of fans have grown to like it, have no fear as Doc Ock's adventures as The Superior Spider-Man are going to continue, his comic's not over! Don't know how that works the Amazing Spider-Man has been relaunched and is taking place in the Mainstream Universe meaning Peter has gotten his body back I still need to read what happened. Superior Spider-Man #32 will be released in a couple of months. ALSO, he's not going to be running around in the Mainstream Universe, thanks to a certain crossover that happened he's now running around in 2099! Which leads to my next point!

5. After 18 years since it was cancelled Spider-Man 2099 is also getting relaunched! This is something I'm really looking forward to as I read the Spider-Man 2099 comics a couple of years ago and I loved that series! While I am pretty excited about this there is a catch: thanks to the crossover mentioned above this incarnation is also stuck in the Mainstream Marvel Universe, meaning that Mainstream Universe now has too many Spider-Men running around in it!

Are there issues? Yeah but to hell with that it looks like we're in for a fun ride people!!
