Why no alicorns? You can put a limit to how powerful they are, and why no foals? Foals can be in SOL RPs too, just not in romantic situations, well...the only thing that they can do is just snuggle. Set it in a place you're comfortable RPing in like Ponyville, Manehattan, Canterlot, or any other city in Equestria. Or, ponify an existing city.

Agreed, by limiting the races or types of characters, you limit the number of people who can join your roleplay.

If someone wants to put restrictions on their RP then they have every right to do so. I'd think it was obvious: they don't want 'I'm so perfect' Alicorn-sues in their romance RP, or children in a setting likely to not be tailored towards them - which is their decision to make.

But see, they're generalizing because they believe that ALL alicorn OCs are like this, which isn't true. I would join either way.

I don't have any alicorn OCs anymore because of the rules against them. They were all either downgraded to unicorn or pegasus.

Be that as it may, most folks on the forums are wary of accepting Alicorn OC's for a reason: but I'm not here to debate this.

 

.:Octavia:.is hosting the RP and has defined some (very common, reasonable and lenient) rules. If you don't like those rules then just don't join - complaining about them doesn't help anyone.
