You enter the house of enchanted comics to pursue the shelves to find a good comic to read, luckily, the shelves have just been stocked with many wonderful and strange comics.

Alright, now we decide what comic we want, I could be anything, pick what type of genre,the macguffin, location, for now we'll choose from a stock

Genre: action, adventure, horror

Macguffin: ancient artifact, villain, person/pony

Location: equestria (could be anywhere) human world (EQG style, or realistic)

Thunder Dash walked into the comic book store and found a comic that was about Daring Do. "Hoho! Nothing like a classic Daring Do comic to enjoy." Thunder stated as he picked up the comic and went to find a place to sit. He opened the book to find that 3/4 of the book was missing. Suddenly, a bright light shined and pulled him in to the book! "Whoa! What happened?" Thunder asked as he looked around.

(So...we not voting?) kaymen noticed the light and decided to investigate, he turned the corner to see a lone comic lying on the ground. He walked over to pick it up, and he started reading it, he then followed thunder dash into the comic, landing on his head. "Yeah! This one looks awesome! Oh, wait, I landed on....gah!" Kaymen quickly gets off after realizing he landed on thunder "sorry"

 

Narrator: and so the story begins, not too long a familiar face comes cresting over a hill, with her pith helmet, black and white mane, and orange-ish coat

Kaymen: " huh...? Did you hear something....wait, there's somepony over there" points hoof in direction of hill

(OOC: Again, I prefer sporadic, and you don't really need the narrator. Also, it's better to RP in prose form instead of dialogue form. Prose form, unlike dialogue form (which is typically found in chat RPs) offers more description and interation.)

 

Thunder noticed a pony walking towards him. "Wow! You're here too! I guess you got pulled into the comic." Thunder stated to the pony.

Dusting himself off slightly " yeah, thought you might want a pointer, I come here a lot, so if you wanna know anything, ask me"

He said filled with confidence, holding his hoof to his chest (fill)

(OOC: Well, you just wrote in prose. Prose is the usual story form. It is usually in the 3rd person point of view, which is the most common point of view people RP in around here. However, there are some who RP in the 1st person, but that's rare.)

 

"Wait, so does that mean you work in the comic book store? I guess that's a yes. So I'm guessing I'm gonna have to help Daring Do finish up the story in this comic, now I just need to find her..." Thunder said as he started to walk slowly in a direction.

"Actually no, I don't work here, I just love these comics, anyway...yes, daring is usually dropping in by now...or is that another comic....wait, which one is this?" Kaymen looks around to see if she's around the immediate area "hm...this can't be that one....wait, is this one new?" He seemed confused, he thought he heard of all the new comics coming in, maybe this is a fan comic or something he thought

Suddenly, Daring swung from some place. "There she is!" Thunder stated as she started to chase Daring. "Come on! She's heading somewhere." Thunder stated as he continued to follow Daring. Daring wasn't paying attention to the two ponies, as she had to steal an important crystal to stop the whole world from becoming the evil kingdom of Azuhal.

"Ah! So this is new...I've never seen her come in like that before..." Kaymen flies over to her "um...hello miss do.... I know-" before he could finish she stops and jumps away from kaymen "who are you!? Are you one of ahuizotls men!?" She said with her whip ready "no no no, we are here to help, you see, me and my friend here need to get home, and the only way we can do that is to help you "why!? Besides...I work alone" kaymen just face hoofed "look, we have to help you, that's the way the story goes we can't leave without helping you" with an uncertain look on her face she said "fine...but try to keep up" kaymen saluted her and continued to follow her

Daring ignored Kaymen as she continued to swing and fly. Thunder flew up to Kaymen. "That's not gonna work. She's really concentrating. I know how Daring's attitude is because I read one of her books." Thunder stated. Daring soon veered to the left and a large castle was revealed.

"But my thought plans always work....hm...well, for now you just follow her...I'll scout ahead a little" kaymen flies ahead slightly, but daring is almost as fast as he is so he doesn't get very far ahead "wow..I keep forgetting how fast she is..." As they continue to fly the castle almost seems to get bigger and bigger

Daring landed in front of the castle beathing a little heavy. She walked slowly, but had a feeling someone was behind her. She turned and saw Thunder Dash. Her instincts would take over and she would pounce on Thunder Dash. But she just looked at him. "Where did you come from, and why are you here?" She asked. "Well...see....I was reading a comic until I came to a blank page and....it pulled me in here. I don't think there's a way out..." Thunder stated. "Hm." Daring said as she continued to walk.

Kaymen just hovered there in slight awe of the castle "this thing Is way better than the castle of the two sisters...." He heard a thud coming from behind, so he turned to see thunder on the ground "you back with us daring? Allow me to introduce myself, I am kaymen blooblood, pleasure to make your acquaintance...again" he finished under his breath, since he had been in a few other daring do comics before "I know you work alone, but our state leaves us in need to...help you, as it were..."

"Who cares about you? I've got a gem to steal. If you want to tag along, I suggest you shut that muzzle of yours and stay back." Daring stated. "I have never seen Daring with such a snappy attitude like this. could she be...no that can't be right." Thunder thought to himself as he stayed back.

"You're right...and does she often say she "steals" things, I'd think she'd consider it recovering..." He hovers in place to figure out why she's might be acting so strange "no.....this isn't....no please don't let it be!!!" He flies into into the castle to see if he was right, let's hope not

"Hmm...I just hope she isn't under some...possession..." Thunder stated. Suddenly a black mist slithered out from some bushes. It laughed evily. "So...my young servent...ready to see the world fall appart?" The mist asked. Daring held her head. "I knew it!" Thunder said.

Kaymen flew back looking puzzled "hm....guess I was wrong.....oh...." He stared at the black mist and knew it was evil, his instincts kicked, though they were foolish instincts "take that!" He flew over the mist and kicked it from above, only for it to disperse ".....oh, right...mist...." The evil laughter started echoing everywhere " foolish pony, I can't be defeated so easily" kaymen just stood there, annoyed, maybe at the voice, maybe at himself

"Okay...here's what we've gotta do. We've gotta find a way to get to that crystal before Daring does. The foe has her in his grip. So...if we get to that crystal, we may be able to use it's power to defeat the foe and ultimately render Daring from the possession. But we must hurry." Thunder stated as he started to dash for the castle. Daring saw the two and teleported to where they were through the darkness in her from the foe. "Where do you think you're going so fast?" She asked. "Daring, this isn't you! This isn't the Daring I know. The Daring I know does not fall for traps from words. She's strong-minded and even though she works alone, could use help from others." Thunder stated. The foe had blocked off Daring's mind. The mist laughed. "I'm afriad she can't hear you!" The mist said evilly.

Kaymen flew up into a window to get into the castle "up here! Quick!" He said as he flew into the window, now where to start the search..." The throne room? Treasure room? Bedroom?" He was flustered trying to think of where it could be....but then he saw a sign saying "crystal room this way" "......that seems dumb...." He flew in the direction the sign lead

"No! It's a trap!" Thunder shouted as he flew up. Daring had already teleported and made her way to the castle. Thunder saw her. He was wanting to pounce on her so bad and try to free her from the posession. He tried to fire a special beam at her. He gathered some electricity and fired it. Surprisingly, it zapped Daring and temporarily freed her from the possession. She switched back to her good self for a little bit and went to take the crystal and return it back to it's rightful place. The mist sensed it and tried to fight Daring's mind. "Sorry sir, but you're not coming in here!" She thought to herself.

Kaymen didn't hear thunder so he kept flying down the halls, he entered a room with tons of gems in big piles. His eyes lit up as he gazed around at the riches that lie in that room, then he spotted a pedestal with a crystal hovering above it " is... That it?" He slowly walked over to the crystal and inspected it "it looks....special, it must be" he looked at the crystal, then he quickly swiped it up. Then he flew back to show thunder "look! I found it!" Not long after the castle started to rumble "uh oh....how did I not see this coming...RUN!!!!"

"Ugh, why did you do that dude?! Now you made it easy for Daring and the foe to get in to the main area!" Thunder stated. It was true. Daring and the foe already made it to the room. If they took the crystal back to the evil foe's castle, and not the right ancient shrine, the whole place would disintegrate.

"I still found the crystal!" He waved it around, sure of himself "but where does it go?" Kaymen looked around for something "is that....I think it is get ready, cause a certain wall is about to crumble!" He reaches for the ceiling, hoping he can do it. His hoof grasps something "grab my hoof! We're outta here!" He reaches his hoof out to you

"We have to take it back to where it belongs. It belongs in a castle on the other side of this area." Thunder stated grabbing Kaymen's hoof.. Suddenly, Daring and the foe caught up to them. "Where do you think you're going?" Daring asked with the mist behind her. "Snap out of it Daring! This isn't you!" Thunder stated yelling into Daring's mind with a special spell. Daring held her head. "Go! Take the crystal! I'll handle these two!" Thunder shouted into Kaymen's mind.

Kaymen held his head for a second " gah...don't shout like that! Wait...whatever, try not to get yourself....nevermind" kaymen the flies up into the ceiling and disappears, he then seems to have landed in a kinda swampy area "hm? Was that the wrong....no, wait...." He looks around and sees the castle he came from "wait...where's..." He looked the other way to see the other castle "aha! There it is" he flies as fast as he could, was he going to make it? He thought so
