ooc 1x1 sci-fi mystery {romance?} (not set in stone)

Well at the title suggests, I am planning an 1x1 RP involving science fiction with a hint of mystery. Depending how I plan it out, it might even go in depth of what a pony's true self is...

I love science fiction so I could give you millions of ideas, but what were some you thought of or like? What are you looking for?

Well, I had an idea of an alien abduction/capture/invasion. Again, its very primitive. Saying that, I usually look to others for ideas when it comes 1x1

That sounds interesting though I thought we could do a Dead Space/Halo/Mass Effect type mashup where we are survivors of X attack. Maybe trying to escape a planet that's under siege?

 

And yeah maybe I'll make my OC racist. I'm not though.

I'm rather unfamiliar of two of the three of the franchises, but I am well acquainted with Halo. To add a bit of a twist...should we make the U.N.S.C. the enemy? Maybe the covenant saw equines as a holy race.

I'll take humans. As I am a diplomat, I would possibly have first contact if they decide to meet at the capital for peace negotiations. The covvies could land a team of royal elites guarding a profit who finds the ponies as a holy race. You would make first contact with them outside of your home town.
