"Okay. Well...I was born in Cloudsdale along with my twin brother. I never saw my father so our mother had to do all of the work. She put me in flight camp because of how I was always flying around when I was little. One day, when flight camp was finishing up for the day, a storm was spotted. A little pegasus happened to wander off towards it. Pegasai tried to stop it but flew off before they could catch it. She disappeared into the storm. The Wonderbolts were sent to find her. They couldn't find her. That's when I decided to step in. I went into the storm and oh...what a beautiful sight." Thunder explained and paused.

 Silver Tongue listened to every word "So, you've been the heroic type from the beginning. Now all you need is a cape, and you'll have comic books based off of you. Which reminds me, have you ever considered mercenary work? You always have something to do, you get a bit of backstory on the job, get paid a bit or two, seems to me like a good idea." Silver asked.

"Well...somepony saw my feats and decided to enlist me in the air force, which is where my heavy duty work comes from, and that atitude..." Thunder said. "Had many things to do as a member of the air force, but soon once the upper ranks noticed me, they promoted me to captain, and then major." Thunder explained.

 Silver didn't have much input as he never actually saw any of the air force, aside from Thunder Dash of course, so he didn't say anything on the subject. Silver was getting distracted and angchis, he was never productive on an empty stomach, or anything good for that matter.

Thunder noticed that Silver was sort of distracted. "Well...I guess I'll stop there..." He said as he continued to eat his breakfast. The little foal continued to eat as well. She just looked at Silver, wondering what he was thinking. The little foal took a quick glance at Thunder. "Silver...what are you going to call that little foal?" Thunder stated.

 Silver Tongue snapped back to reality in time to hear the question "Hu? Oh yes, of course. Apologies for zoning out there, you will have to fill in the details when i'm not hungry. Anyway, I was thinking Silver hoof would be okay, or maybe Silver horseshoe. I was never good at coming up with names." Silver said before eating his breakfast.

"Silver hoof sounds boyish." Thunder stated. The little foal just looked at Thunder and Silver, waiting for them to decide on what to name her. Thunder thought of Silver Shine. "Ooh! How about Silver Shine. Still retains the name Silver, but puts that girl flare to it." Thunder stated.

 Silver Tongue perked up at the suggestion and took a break from eating breakfast to voice his opinion "That sounds like a great name, but I think it's up to the foal to decide if it's the right name for him.". Silver said turning to face the foal "Do you think this represents who you are?".

"That name sounds good..." The little foal stated. "Well Silver Shine it is then. Congratulations Silver, you now have Silver Shine as your daughter. Take good care of her." Thunder said as he finished up his breakfast. The little foal just smiled as she finished up her breakfast.

 "Just like that? No paperwork? No interview? Thunder, I appreciate the gesture, but unless you are the legal guardian, you probably don't have that kind of authority. Well, now that I've said that, I can probably get the paperwork sorted out when this community service is over. So, legally, no. Metaphorically, yes." Silver Tongue explained.

"Well...I am a Major, which automatically makes me an Equestrian Official. So...after this...we'll head up to Canterlot to the royal archives and have you sign the papers...and then Silver Shine will officially be your adopted daughter!" Thunder said with a smile. Silver Shine also smiled.

 Silver Tongue replied with a similar facial expression "Sounds good." before eating the rest of his breakfast. Now having some sustenance, Silver Tongues focus returned in spades. Things seemed to be looking up for Silver Tongue, infact he was even looking forward to the upcoming work.

"One more day Silver...one more day..." Thunder stated as he got up and waited for Silver to finish eating. Silver Shine was looking at Silver who appeared a little dazed. "Are you okay Silver?" She asked as she looked at him. Thunder gathered some electricity and made some papers appear. They weren't adoption papers.

 "Okay? I haven't been this focused sense the beginning of this community serves. I might even be able to start over analyzing things again, not that it has any practical use right now, but its still nice." Silver explained calmly. Silver Tongue took note of the new papers "I don't suppose that has anything to do with the current situation, does it?" Silver Tongue asked.

"No, just some old files that were in the archieves." Thunder stated. "So...are you ready to go. We could take the train up to Canterlot..." Thunder stated. "I've never been on a train before..." Silver Shine said a little excited that she would be able to try something new.

 "Aren't we forgetting about the community serves, or was that was scheduled for later in the day?" Silver Tongue asked. "I heard the train takes a few hours to get to canterlot, and then theres the return trip, but if it won't cut into anything else then it sounds good to me." Silver Tongue pointed out.

"Well then...I guess it'll have to wait 'til tomorrow. Today...is gonna be different...for..." Thunder stated as he gathered some electricity and fired a beam at Silver and Silver Shine. True pegasus wings grew on both of their sides. "You'll be working up in Cloudsdale." Thunder stated.
