Something that made me think today...

Well today I was bored out of my mind in math and began to day dream and think about stuff, one of them being the impact that these forums have made on me.

 

It seems strange to me, but I can't seem to imagine NOT logging onto this website everyday and talking to all of you and posting things and role playing and all the other amazing things that these forums have brought me. Not to mention some of my best friends I met on here.

 

It's been nearly four months now since I became a brony and joined this site, and something got me wondering. I lived for fifteen years without these forums and the fandom in general, seemingly okay but now I can't imagine what I would do without them.

 

I don't really know what that means, but I'm guessing it's a true testement to how wonderful this place is, and how much I truly love it and every one of you.

 

So long story short, this site seems to have impacted my life enough that I can't even imagine what I would do without them now. I'm so glad I made that choice nearly four months ago to hit that green "Join the Herd" button. Best choice of my life.

You will see that a lot of things are like that. Any change in our environment will have a repercussion on us! It feels good to know which though.

The exact same feelings here comrade.

 

I'd probably be dead by now if it wasn't for the show and everyone on here. No joke....I already put a gun to my head, but I've seen the light and acquired a feeling of jubilation. I'm a different person now....much happier because of everyone here.

I am a lot happier than I was half a year ago. The show and this fandom have made me happier.

 

I have RL friends, but unfortunately I don't get to see them that often anymore. 'Tis sad :(

It's always great to know how a community like this is able to actually change lives. Something like that really says a lot about the show and the fandom. Both have their flaws, but it's this quality that makes me proud to be a brony.

I gotta say this is a really awesome blog and pretty much sums up how I feel about this place too. It just seems to me now that I have joined a part of me cannot separate myself  from here and the kind people I have met on here. It really is quite surprising if you think about it. When I first joined I really did not think much about the place and only thought I would be here for a couple a days and thats it. To my surprise I have made what I consider to be some of the best of friends and such on here which surprised me with being the internet and all. Thanks for sharing that Death the Kid ;)!
