Exactly on this day, on the 20th of november, 1990, thanksgiving evening, the undertaker celebrated his WWE (WWF back then) debut at the 1990 edition of the Survivor Series, teaming up with the million dollar team as a mystery partner against the dream team.

People couldn't imagine what this giant of man would become in the future. A 7 time world champion, undefeated at 21 wrestlemanias and one of the most charismatic icons in the history of wrestling. This Sunday at the Survior Series, the undertaker will step in the ring one more time with his brother Kane, to battle the entirety of the Wyatt Family.

It's too hard to come up with favorite taker moments. He took part in more Hell in a Cell matches then anybody else, being also part in the first in 1997 with Shawn Michaels. He and Michaels also battled at Wrestlemania 25 and 26, which where arguably Match of the year matches and absolute classics. He locked the Ultimate inside a casket, which the warrior was locked in for several minutes, which was creepy beyond believe and his first face turn against Jake Roberts was also legendary.

I could go on and on about how much The Undertaker has impacted me as a wrestling fan. But all i have to say is: Thank you Taker. :)

Great blog. The Undertaker will always be my favorite of all time. My favorite moments will always be the matches he had with Triple H and Shawn Michaels on Wrestlemania 25-28

I remember doing my best to stay awake one night just so I could see his fight with John Cena.

I fell asleep just before the match started and I couldn't stop thinking about it for a week.

He's been around so long and made such a name for himself it almost feels like he's already in the hall of fame.  Mark began his career in the mid 80s and he spent most of that time jumping from one gimmick and one federation to the next.  I first saw him in WCW when he was brought in as Sid Vicious' replacement in the Skyscrapers tag team.  He was then known as "Mean Mark Callous" but despite the ability to walk the top rope and a boatload of talent never got completely over there.  Then he was suddenly signed by the WWF as "Kane the Undertaker" and I was like "Are you kidding me?  Vince McMahon has really bumped his head with that moniker."

At the time I didn't like the Undertaker character because it was the latest in this weird menagerie of made up trademarkable names Vince was trotting out at the time.  Only top flight superstars like Ric Flair, Lex Luger, and Vader could go to the WWF in those days and not be given a whole new identity.  By now most fans have forgotten about dudes like Bastion Booger, Sparky Plugg, Waylon Mercy, and Skinner.  But Mark was one of the few who was able to take his new identity and do something remarkable with it.  The Streak, several world titles, countless match of the year candidates, and his longevity are all testimony to Mark's greatness.  Well done!  :)
