How do five gay guys go down the street? One Direction... this isn't really surprising considering how often they appear on tv.

It is an MTV Award. Of course popular fangirl music is going to win. How is it not possible.

I don't really follow the music world. Music is way more subjective than movies, so award shows for music aren't really exciting like the prestige of movie awards.

If Beethoven produced music today--One Direction would still have gotten Artist of the year. It's not saying anything about music--just probably record sales and things like that, it's how they've always judged it.

MTV Awards are always messed up.

One Direction was never good in the first place. If they get any higher in music, then America might as well kill themselves before thinking of making One Direction an official music 'band,' as they call themselves. In which I think that One Direction is a boy band for some other person to make money. 

SO LET'S SPIN THIS SHIT OUT OF AMERICA!!!
