It's a pledge, you only have to say it once. I hate how schools make you say it every day.

My elementary school had us recite the entire National Anthem while it played over the intercom. EVERY SINGLE DAY.

When I think about it now, it feels like a Nazi School or something, too propaganda-ish.

Good god I still have to recite that. I would make up one, but they always call you out if you do.

Like they think you hate America if you don't take it seriously.

i dont mind it, i just stand up say it and go on with my life, ive been doing it most my life so i dont really mind

I didn't really mind saying it everyday. My friends and I would change a word or two every now and then for the heck of it. My favorite was when my friend replaced "under God" with "under Ultimate Mega-Jesus".
