Brony Idea by a Non Brony

Aright well this is slightly awkward to post, but I wish to anyway. But before I can start I must fill in the details with a slight back-story...

 

So I was chatting with my friend on skype who was going to leave for college after break. He was telling me about his other Brony friend he had met and how he even started reading some fanfics of others and my own, (I have high hopes I can convert him) but somewhere along the way he started telling me about this girl he was pursuing.

 

//Now you may be thinking, what on earth does this have to do with anything? Well I'll tell you...

 

So I was telling him about how maybe I should enter that field again and whatnot, and he brought up, "Isn't there a dating site for bronies?" To which I did a quick search and didn't find any.

 

That brings me to my next point, should I try and get a team organized and make this a reality? I know it's kinda weird, but I think it could be a possibility.

 

What do any of you guys think?

Anyone interested in helping develop it?

Well...I'm not quite sure how to feel about this. On the one hand, it would be another brony site to follow and I'm sure lots of people would use it. On the other, dating sites tend to...ah, not work out. I wish I had saved the picture that compares dating through World of Warcraft versus dating through eHarmony. Long story short: WoW is a great dating site. :P

But yeah, I'm rambling. I'd say go for it!

Well I would try to lean away from the standard dating sites where they just take questions and compare to find likely matches, but instead, I would go for like a mingle type thing where it's people who are looking, you can chat and whatnot.  Not very different from the forums, just with purpose.

I don't see why not; it's a less silly idea than a lot of dating sites I've seen ads for...

 

I don't know much about web design beyond very basic HTML though, and I might not even use it if it gets made.

Have you seen the farming one? that's a joke XD

Anyways, we will need people who know HTML formatting as well as other coding later on. 

 

Keep in mind it's really more of a mingle than a dating site.  But anyways, if you want to help develop it you are welcome :3
