I couldn't resist.

I thought it was stupid the first time I saw it/heard of it, and it only got worse from there. 

The song is extremely annoying on its own. 

I think the real reason it is popular is because the dance moves are laughably bad. People should stop treating this song like the second coming of Jesus.

I find the videos entertaining as they are short and seem like the people in them had fun making them.

Speaking as someone who was just in one, I can vouche for what Brave Sir Andrew said. It was a lot of fun to make, and was actually a pretty nice bonding experience with my classmates and a nice opportunity to show university spirit.

Are the videos absurd? Yes, but it's an opportunity to bask in the absurdity.

Gangnam style is pretty good. This song is just boring. I hadn't even heard of it till today.

I have to agree this song is pretty annoying and Gangnam is over played. But there is stupider out there.  There's a meme called milking where you take a jug of milk and dump it over yourself in random areas..this is why China is kicking our ass folks.

Well, at least Gangnam Style had some form of originality in its spinoffs. With this, all you have is a new setting, and everyone is just, "wow haven't seen this before so much fun lets all subscribe and tell everyone about it!"

I kinda like Gangnam Style, while it shouldn't get all the attention, it's decent. But look at other top songs. In comparison it's amazing.

Also, The Harlem Shake is just stupid. Why does it even exist?
