Moog's Music Review Station 2.0

Moog the Kvlt

Alright then, so since the very old review thread that I did a long while ago had died out I figured that I might as well do what everyone else seems to be doing right now, and make a music review blog. I will do reviews through requests only, except for the occasional one that I think deserves to be reviewed. Now before you ask I WILL NOT DO ANY OLDER/CLASSIC/LEGENDARY ALBUMS because I don't wanna review things that everybody's already heard a million times. Only things that have came out during this year and maybe later on in last year will I be reviewing, though I will do a monthly list of mini-reviews on albums that I consider to be legendary and noteworthy albums. As for legendary artists'/bands' new releases, yes I will review those because they are recent enough to get a review. The requests box is always left open, and you can request an album on here or any of my actual reviews. Now give me some requests, and also.....

inb4 someone requests a review of the new Daft Punk album.

You should totally review Daft Punk's new album.  tongue.png

Nah, two albums you should review, are these:

VA - Sick Music 3

Netsky - 2

Netsky? Oh goodness Liquid DnB, don't know if I'll be able to, but I'll give it a try, as for the Various Artists album, I'd rather stick to albums that are just 1 artist, it's too difficult to review an album when it's more then one artist.

What's wrong with liquid dnb ? tongue.png

I never was a fan of it, though still I'll give the Netsky album a try since I've only heard good about him, so it honestly can't be that bad.

Ahh... I guess that's fair enough. :P

It was liquid dnb that really got me to love the drum n bass genre, since, in my opinion, it's so different from what you normally hear.

Though, if you ain't much into liquid dnb, you should check out the jazzy side of dnb :)

The only DnB gys that I really like are Squarepusher and The Prodigy, also Pendulum are okay, though I'm not too huge of a fan of them. And as for that jazzy side it was alright, though I wasn't such a huge fan of it. And don't worry I'm still gonna do the Netsky album review, even though I'm not much for Liquid DnB who knows I might get into it after the review.

You should review Fuckin' A by Anal Cunt.

The album is from 2010, as I stated beore, I want to do newer releases instead, though I'll let albums from 2012 slide.

But that's the last album they made before their singer died :,( Can you review it just for the lulz?

No exceptions, only more recent releases

Fine then :'(

Could you review Galloping Blasphemy by Satan's Wrath? It's a 2012 release.

Why dodn't you want to review older albums?

As mentioned in the paragraph that I wrote, I don't wanna review things that people have already heard before, I wanna get more recent stuff out there and give out my opinion on things that are new rather than ones that are old.

I see, but what if it's a sorta obscure band from the 90's or something like that?

I'll still say no, because when I do my list of monthly mini-reviews of older albums that I think are highly notable ones, then I might include a more obscure band.

This one maybe? You're not much of a Dubstep fan, I know, but this is imo one of the more unique and notable Dubstep albums... ever.

It's Dubstep with a lot of different influences: Reggae, Jungle, Latino. It really got that Mala feeling too it.

It's from 2012

Yeah I'm gonna do a review of a Liquid DnB album, so I'll let a dubstep album slide on
