Computer I bought on Boxing Day!

I have had this computer for a few days now, and I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the parts inside?

I want to turn this computer into a gaming pc.

ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.

M11AD

Intel Core i5-4440 3.10GHz

8GB RAM

64-bit

Intel HD Graphics 4600

1TB 7200RPM HDD

300W PSU

Windows 8 upgraded to 8.1 for free

I thought to post it in a blog, since I already posted something in a thread, and I did not want to bring back a dead thread (if it is dead).

Smack a GPU in it, then you could enjoy the beauty.

The 760 will probably fit well in that (box!)

I am pretty sure you will just need to put in the graphics card gentely.

(Slamming is generally not a good idea when working with computers.) xD

Slam a GPU of any sort in there. AMD or Nvidia, both are good.

SSD and.... Remove Win8 at once... "downgrade" to 7

also.. you might want to replace the PSU to a 450W+ psu as well.

Nope.

1. Right-click taskbar

2. Select Properties

3. Go to Navigation

4. Set "When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to the desktop instead of Start", "Show my desktop background on Start", "Show the Apps view automatically when I go to Start" and "List desktop apps first in the Apps view when it's sorted by category"

5. ??????

6. PROFIT! You now have a faster, lighter Windows 7 and a Windows 8 that works with the mouse better than a touchscreen at the same time! AND you never have to see the Metro apps!

On topic, stick a GTX 760 in there and it should be ready to game.

I hope you got the win8.1 upgrade for free. that'd be dishonest if they didn't.

Nope.

I believe win8 is faster than 7... but... is it faster than #! or Arch?

I dunno, I've never used either of those.
