My Idea of Self-Defense (Wut I got for my Birthday)

My birthday was on the 15th of January, however I have a good explanation: I was too lazy to do so until now.

Really my only gift was a reproduction of a 1777 Charleville flintlock musket. The gun Americans used to fight off the British in the Revolution, and the model for the 1795 Springfield.

I named her Erika. The name isn't really symbolic, I just love the name Erika XD

Que the pictures!

This gives you an idea of how long she is, as this is a twin size bed

Here's a closer view of "where the magic happens"

Here's a view of the lockplate. I don't know what it says, I can't read French.

And here's a picture of her next to my 1858 Enfield (which is ironically heavier, considering she's shorter)

Anyway...yay?

I can't say I was ever interested in early firearms, I can't stand any muzzle loading weapon, I just kinda hate them.

EEEEEEE~ Can we hang out sometime? I LOVE Napoleonic weapons! I have some experience firing muskets, so long as I can get myself a rammer and some cartridges. BTW, the French bit says "Madame/Mademoiselle Impèriale de St. Étienne", or "The Imperial Lady of St. Étienne (place in France)".
