  1. @@Pripyat Pony @ @ Blossom sighed, dissapionted. Then again, she couldn't really expect the first ponies she saw to tell her every detail. "Okay, then. Thanks." Is there any reason for the government or police to be secretive about this? she thought as she walked away. It was a little strange...It was unlikely that she'd be able to get a closer look, but maybe there were some ponies closer to the site of the havoc who knew what was happening. Sadly, Blossom had no luck. She went back home and decided to wait until the next day when the situation would most likely be addressed by the government. Her sleep was fitful and she had bad dreams..
  2. @ @ @@Pripyat Pony Blossom was a bit of a night owl, so she was still awake when the loud BOOM! rang through Germaneigh. It definitely didn't sound like fireworks. She was tired from the day's festivities, but she had enough energy to go out and see what was going on. Stepping outside, she witnessed a dark mist spread over the town and surround it. Her curiosity overrode her terror, and she sped towards where she thought the noise had come from. Blossom was soon at the Town Hall, which had many ponies galloping to and from it. There was a small group of ponies a ways away from the wreck who were chatting nervously. Perhaps they had seen what had happened. "Excuse me," Blossom began, approaching them. "Do you know what's going on? I heard a loud bang, so I came to check it out." Just then she realized that they probably thought she was a teenager. She hated her condition - she was 27 years old! Why couldn't she look like it? Oh well. Hopefully that wouldn't change anything.
  3. I sleep talk rarely. Actually, I think I only did two or three times when I was around..7 years old? Anyways, I remember talking to my (older) sister at dinner, and she mentioned to me that I had talked in my sleep. She was on the top bunk of our bunk bed, as usual, trying to fall asleep. Suddenly, I started talking. "I'll...I'll have one...one cheeseburger, please..." My sister decided to have some fun, so she said back to me, "One split-pea soup coming right up!" She knew I hated it, at least the way our mom made it. Actually, I didn't even like cheeseburgers back then. Anyways, apparently my response was shaking my head violently and saying, "No, no, no, no, no.." So yeah, that's my random story.
  4. Here's what I got: Silvery Mist Lullaby River Silent Thunder Sorrowful Flight Dreary Skies Flightless Wings Shy Cloud Lily Cloud Gentle Rain Gentle Mist Yeah, that's everything.
  5. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queens. I listened to it in the car earlier and now it won't leave my head, although I don't really have a problem with that - it's a fun song. Muppet Version (amazing): Normal Version:
  6. ((Haven't posted in SO long)) Blossom had stopped pacing and was now in a coffee shop she had found, wondering where, what, who, how, and why exactly she was. This is awful, she thought. I'm not drunk. I mean, I don't necessarily want to be drunk, but that's a nicer explanation for this than that it's REAL...no, I'm making too much sense to be drunk enough to think up all of this junk, so this has to be...real....Ugh, why didn't I stay inside today? Or yesterday, I could have been passed out for quite some time. She stood up and left the coffee shop, since she didn't have any cash on her. As she stood up, her legs felt wobbly. Who walks on two legs? She went outside, very clumsily, and looked up. It was very late at night... ((I have absolutely nothing to do with Blossom at this point. I probably will think of something soon, but just in case I don't, feel free to have any humans discover her. I think she was supposed to be in Chicago?))
  7. @ Blossom quivered, not sure what to say. "I...I was just in Fil-Fillydelphia. And...and now I'm not. Did I get...drunk?! Oh, that would explain these weird...hand things." She was more talking to herself now than the stranger. "I can't believe it! The school tells students not to go on drunk rampages when they get older, and I'm probably on a drunk rampage right now but don't realize it! Aw, buck! This is horrid. I'm gonna' get fired, aren't I? Well, I could run away..pretend to be the age I look. I'd dye my mane and tail, maybe get colored contacts, a tattoo..." As she rambled, she paced back and forth.
  8. @ Blossom trotted happily out of the spa, feeling relaxed, when she spotted some havoc in the distance. Some black clouds were hurtling towards her from the direction of Ponyville. Suddenly, they swarmed about her, various lightning flashes striking the ground around her. She screamed, but soon she was gone. ~ ~ ~ She awoke in a small alley, nowhere near where she had previously been. She had on a gray T-shirt, a soft, white sweater, maroon Converse sneakers, and soft pink shorts ending just above her knees, the same color as her mane. She sat up groggily and rubbed her forehead, here eyes barely opened. "Ugh...what happened? Where am I?" Then she noticed what she was rubbing her forehead with. Her eyes snapped fully open, pupils wide, and she grabbed her wrist. She brought her hand slowly down from her forehead. She stared at both hands for a while. "Or a better question...what am I?!" She screamed silently.
  9. You could just use Inkscape if you want. For more info, go here: http://mlpforums.com/topic/47870-descants-vector-chronicles/ And scroll down a while. I'm to lazy to find the actual link to the site where you download, but it's somewhere on here, as well as some tips. It's free, and so far it hasn't given me any bugs, nor do I think it will. It's very useful when creating cutie marks.
  10. Logo contest...sounds cool! Eh, I don't see why I shouldn't try! I probably won't win, but I'll try. I'm not the absolute best at this kind of thing, but I think I can do it... Hmm....logos, logos...
  11. @@Glaceon Actius nodded. "Okay." He stood as well and walked around the train with Fawn. It wasn't very long before they found one of the conductors. "Excuse me, but are you the conductor? Me and my date were wondering where the next stop is - we both kind of forgot." He felt a little sheepish saying that. He just forgot? He also felt a little funny saying "date". He wasn't used to it, but it was the truth, and it did kind of feel nice to say. ((I think he's talking to Rag, by the way))
  12. "Okay." ... Actius was still unsure of what to say so he just fiddled with his hooves. Okay, I don't care if it's not good, but you've got to say something. Say anything! At all! Just no awkward silences! ..."So.." *mental facehoof* ((I wouldn't normally make Actius this awkward, but the problem is: I can't think of anything for him to say. Yeah, this won't turn out great, at least not at the moment))
  13. "It'd be nicer if more ponies could be like that." He paused for a minute, looking at his menu. Not removing his eyes from it, he said, "So, Silent - er, Fawn, I mean..heh, that'll take some getting used to...anyways, do you think we should ask somepony who works here where the next stop is?" He was really running out of conversation. Rather conveniently, the waiter came by just then. "Are you ready to order?" "Um, yeah, I think so. I'll have the stuffed bell pepper, mashed potatoes, and a diet Pepsi." He turned to Fawn. "And for you, madame?"
  14. ((So sorry it's taken me forever to post this!)) Actius laughed. "You feel bad that I haven't spoken? You were just mute for several years! I think you have the right to talk. But you do have a good point - I haven't said much about, well, me. Well, what is there to tell? I grew up in Manehattan with a pretty normal life. I got my cutie mark for acting in the third grade. I want to act as a proffesional, but so far two things have gone wrong: I haven't been 'noticed' yet and I haven't got the money to quit my job and go get noticed. I work in a small coffee shop and live in an appartment with my insane roommate. That's all, really. ... I just talked a lot, didn't I?"
  15. "Nah, it's okay. Unless you really really want to pay, I wouldn't object, but it's really fine. Just don't get the hundred-bit martini." "Yeah, I'm not sure myself. I didn't really read the brochure all the way through. Hay, I dunno' half of the places we're stopping!" A waiter came up to them. "Table for two?" "Ah, yes, please." The pony motioned for them to follow him. "Right this way." They were seated at a small table by the window, which had a great view of the sunset. The waiter then trotted off.
  16. Actius snorted, amused. Then he actually thought about the idea. He broke into a wide grin and began to laugh uncontrollably. "That'd be hilarious!" He took quite a while to stop laughing and get his breath back. "Sorry, it's...it's just so funny...ha. Sorry. So, shall we go? I'm paying." He held out his hoof for Fawn.
  17. "'Kay, well, there's a fancy diner car here somewhere, I think. There's a dress code though, but," said Actius, looking at the two's formal attire, "I think we're good there. Wanna' go?" ((Twelve seconds ago (well, twelve seconds for them) they were getting all mushy, and now they're talking about food. I'm not great at transitioning between topics...))
  18. Actius smiled warmly and gently removed Fawns' hoof from his mouth. "You don't have to.",He was about to say something like, "Meeting you was payment enough," but then he thought, When did I get all romantic? Well, after meeting Fawn, I suppose. He lingered a minute more, a little longer, before his stomach got the better of him. "So, you hungry? Dinner sounds like a pretty good idea right now..." ((Is it night yet? I think it is, since everyone's going back to the train. Right? Maybe?))
  19. Actius' eyes widened as Silent Fawn told her tale. At the end, he held her tight, feeling the sudden urge to protect her at all costs. "Yeah...yeah you're safe...If anypony ever tries to do anything while I'm around, I swear..." The story had affected him somehow. He hadn't known that the world could be so cruel. He kissed her head. "And you're right - I...I love you." He almost couldn't believe he was saying it. After all, Actius had only met Silent the day before, a shy, mute mare, and now she was Faun, a mare who he had just kissed (not exactly shy) and was speaking a lot after getting her voice back. He let his grip loosen and looked once more into her big, beautiful, shining eyes. He just couldn't help it. "Sorry, I just..." He trailed off, not quite knowing how to continue.
  20. The rest of the world was obliterated. Actius didn't care about anything else, just the pounding of his heart and the spectacular kiss. Truthfully Actius had only kissed one other mare before, but that was when he was in high school, and it wasn't anything serious. This was different. He was in love and he now knew it with absolute certainty. Then Silent spoke. Talked. Created words by moving her mouth and tongue and exhaling simultaneously. He stared at her with his mouth ajar, bewildered. She could talk?! Since when? "Hhh...how did you...did you just...?!" He just stood there then, lost in thought. I...she...but...we...what?!
  21. Actius danced along with Silent, and he felt her trying to convey feelings, deep emotions, one emotion in particular...love. Silent was in love with Actius. At first, he didn't know what to think. Did he love her? Was it for real? But at one point or another he just got lost in the dance, just letting everything out. Right then, nothing mattered but him and Silent. When they stopped, he had Silent in a close embrace. She looked at him and he looked at her. Oh, her eyes were dazzling. The choice is yours, buddy. He closed his eyes, leaned in, and kissed her. ((FINALLY))
  22. The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - Wherever Tondrak is Tondrak nodded to the Composer, noting that she seemed rather sensible (although not too much, considering that she had just insulted a being of unknown power), and led her and the Artist to two vacant rooms. "Rooms two thirty-five and two thirty-seven in the East wing of the main building, connected by a door in the wall between them. I think you'll like it here, although I'm sorry for the...the mess." Despite it being an honest apology, Tondrak grinned slightly. He opened the doors, each revealing a large room with scenic views of the graveyard. The walls were blood red, the carpets pitch black and tooth white, and the curtains a dark shade of gray. The beds were simple versions of four-poster beds with gray sheets and white pillows. In the room to the right was a silvery grand piano, and the room to the left had an empty easel. The "mess" no one would really notice at first glance, but if a pony took a second look, they would see that several objects had been used...improperly - a vase of flowers in the corner of the right room had blood in it instead of water, which had turned red the center of the white lilies in it; the rugs had a few unidentifiable stains; the legs of the easel looked like they had been used to whack a few ponies; etc. "Enjoy your stay. Now Blood, where is Cookie?" House Everfree - The Everfree Forest - To Fluttershy and Rain Jade saw some birds approaching and stared at them befuddled while they whistled at her. She turned to Lily, figuring that they were delivering a message from Fluttershy. She didn't really speak bird.
  23. Actius walked with Silent until they reached the train, and then the ballroom. Then they danced. It was a nice chat, really - stuff like, "What's your favorite color?" or "Least favorite movie?" and even just simply "Today was pretty fun." They danced and danced... ((Sorry for the not-too-great post - I haven't done my homework yet...))
