    Cloud couldn't take it, he walke up to malice, glaring, "Hey 'pal', if you don't wanna be here, nopony's stopping you" he said sternly.

    Cloud smirked at Malice, he didn't like this stallion. Not at all.

    Static chuckled, "You think fondly of him" he said, taking another drink.

    Cloud chuckled, "Seems some pony has common sense" he said smiling at Tulip.

    Cloud raised an eyebrow, "No. It's common sense. Trust me, I'd tell you if I were scared. Dragons dont intimidate me. I'm just saying fighting isn't always the answer."

    Static smirked, "Heh, funny, you look just like him. And it's news to me. I just flew in you see. Gotta see what the word is around here"

    Cloud fixed malice with a stern look, "Yeah. Us vs dragons. Not the best choice pal" he said.

    "Something about this 'gem' right?" Cloud asked, a smile beginning to form, the promise of adventure getting to him.

    Static chuckled, "Really? You don't know anything huh? I heard some news about a gang led by a colt named Clocks causin some trouble. He sound familiar?" he said, though he knew who this pony was.

    Cloud chuckled and softly nudged the mare, "Easy now, they'll show up soon enough" he said smiling.

    Static set his glass down, "guessing you come here often. And this is the place to hear of the latest rumors. Heard any good ones lately?"

    Static decided now was the time to see what he could get from this colt, "Heh, something tells me you play often." he said as he took a swig of cider.

    Cloud sat down, "So when will the others get here?" he asked looking around.

    <Shadow? I've heard of him... how does he know him? This colt seems to know a few things more than he lets on> Static thought, his ear twitched slightly as he heard the name of the villain.

    Static went to the bartender and ordered a cider, pretending to have his attention on an old newspaper as he listened in. <hmmm... Old friends?>

    Cloud gave a small smile and nodded respectfully to her "Names Cloud Chaser. Pleasure to meet you" he said kindly.

    Static sighed, nothing going on so far, he decided to go to the local bar, place for a good drink and to get info. He walked in, noticing some shifty looking ponies surrounding some poker playing one, Static pretended to pay no mind, but kept his ears open.

    Cloud quickly zoomed to the meeting area, "Sorry I'm late!! You tulip?" he said as he landed next to the mare.

    Static glided in the sky around Ponyville, knowing of the rumors, he decided to keep an eye out for any trouble. <perhaps now I won't have to keep my powers hidden anymore>

    Cloud noticed the flames and immediately wanted to help, he opened his wings and zipped to the open flames. He began flying quickly around them, creating a vacuum vortex that killed the flames quickly, "What now?" he called as he continued to kill the flames. When hearing about the balloon, he said "I can keep the balloon safe! Let me keep the bombs from hitting them!"
