It is, ah swear. Cider ferments, 's why ya see all the bubbles. But the process to hard cider takes more time. Ehh...once ah nearly made the barn burn down, but ah swear that was an accident. *grumble* Everythin's just fine. Had our first bit o' snow in weeks, and Apple Bloom's out makin' snowponies everywhere. Ain't any apples ta pick in the dead o' winter, of course.

Righty...won't be in a while, though. Ah'll tell you when the timber wolves start howlin'. Mmm, well, the apple pie mah granny makes is actually quite delicious. Though ah suspect half o' that is nostalgia. Anyway, ya get a whole lotta apples - whatever ya like, really - some cinnamon, buncha sugar, and a bit o' lemon juice fer that kick, And ah prefer quinces to pears - crunchier. Cherries...ehh. Ah suppose they're alright. Dash pointed out they look kinda like mini-apples, so ah suppose ah like em a bit, now. You can start by fixin' up that fence, if you'd prefer to have at it right away. Chickens keep wanderin' off.

The last time anypony asked me if ah wanted to know a secret, it turned out they had gone an' burned down the mayor's house on accident. Ya'd be right. It's no good ta bite the hoof that feeds ya. More trees ah chop down, the less apples we can harvest. Trees in the Everfree are surprisingly durable, though. Ah've already repeated mahself one too many times fer the first one. But y'know, ah've always disliked durian. Only ever had it once, but boy did it stink.
