      The way smears were used in "The Dover Boys" was brilliant. :D

      I don't think we ever saw any smears in FIM, but I remember a couple of fast-moving sequences where parts of a character were drawn separately for the illusion of movement. :P

      I know the latter is often mentioned as an animation error, but since it's a frame in a very fast scene, I don't think it was unintentional.
