    I think I figured the reasons why I still haven't watched the MLP movie... and probably never will watch it since I've already been spoiled by a few reviews...

    • The movie came out way too late. Had it come out before 2015, I would've been first in line.
    • Most movies based on cartoons feel contrived to me.
    • Weak, clichéd, and repetitive plot.
    • Underdeveloped new characters.
    • Sia… I can't stand her.
    • Storm King is too silly to be taken serious.
    • Tempest's flimsy back-story and quick redemption. Just a rehash of Starlight. Also, why the hell did they cast Emily Blunt?

      Plus the introduction of sea ponies...that is a scar on the show that the movie inflicts and I can't forgive it for that.
