  1. Tis' a sad day for not only Slayer fans but the whole heavy metal community. Anyway, I'm gonna nominate "South of Heaven." Another one of their overlooked albums, maybe not as "Show No Mercy"
  2. Whille we are on the subject of Megadeth... and the word peace, I'll nominate "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying" which is my third favorite metal album (after Ride the Lightning and Powerslave)
  3. Since I've already nominated some Metallica, how about I nominate some Iron Maiden. I'll nominate my favorite album, Powerslave.
  4. I'm mostly into Tradtional Heavy Metal (Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden...) and Thrash Metal (Anthrax, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer..) I don't consider Zeppelin to be metal, just hard rock. Is there any difference between hard rock and metal? Speaking of Led Zeppelin, I'll nominate Led Zeppelin IV Also, will there be an end to this list or will it go on...
  5. Okay, this will be my last nomination today. "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC. Whoops, I forgot to wait for someone else to post a nomination.
  6. My name is Doof, and you'll do what I say WHOOP WHOOP

  7. Speaking of MJ, I'll nominate his second best album, Bad, it's anything but. (sorry for lame joke) About time a pop album was added to the list. it was getting way too metal heavy (sorry again for another lame joke)
  8. Let's see, what should I nominated next? Guess i'll add another Beatles album. Since Abbey Road is already on the list, I'll add the White Album (actually it's called "The Beatles" but everyone calls it the White Album)
  9. What a coincidence . AJFA is my second favorite and, IMHO, the most underrated of their first five albums. Probably because it's sandwiched between Master of Puppets and the Black Album I've never understood the term "Progressive" in music. Could you explain? Anyway, I'll just give in and nominate "Master of Puppets" even though I think it's overrated...
  10. So far, this list has only one Rush album. Guess I'll nominate another Rush album, 2112, which is my 2nd favorite album by them (after Hemispheres which is already on this list)
  11. Evil beware... we have waffles

  12. Your joke wasn't THAT lame (I've heard MUCH lamer). I've noticed that rock and metal are pretty much dominating this list. Anyway, I'm surprised no one hasn't nominated any Beatles albums. Guess I'll nominate my favorite, Abbey Road.
  13. Glad to see that this thread is still active. Anyway, my next pick would be "Appetite for Destruction" by Guns N' Roses... nothing else needs to be said...
  14. Let's see... what should I nominate next? Guess I'll give in and nominate "Back in Black" by AC/DC, my favorite album with Brian Johnson and the second (or third) best selling album of all time.
  15. I guess I should make my contribution. My nomination is my favorite metal album of all time, "Ride the Lightning" by Metallica.
