    I'm sort of conflicted between whether it'll be permanent or not because in most of the TV shows I've seen, whenever a major change happens to a character, they go back to normal by the end of the episode. However, some changes have lasted multiple episodes or in rare cases, mulitple seasons (Mr. Garrison, anyone?)
