I agree that a different cereal for each pony would be neat. Pinkie Pie: Sugar. Like, it's just a cereal box filled with sugar. You pour it into the bowl. It's a bowl full of sugar. Maybe add some milk. It's milk and sugar. Drink it. Twilight: Shredded pages of books, Discord style. Part of a balanced breakfast. Rarity: Diamonds. Applejack: Pass. Rainbow Dash: Lucky Charms, but with inverted colors so we don't get sued by [REDACTED]. Fluttershy: An assortment of animal foods; dog food, cat food, carrots, fish, ham, the works. Okay don't worry everyone I'll set up the Kickstarter right away. Believe in a dream, make it happen.

Mmm mmm, red velvet cake. And cheesecake. ....Or wait...is cheesecake a pie? It sure looks like a pie. If it is a pie then it's certainly not my favorite pie.

Where would a pony of your character "fit in" in Equestria?
Zerobot replied to Appleloosa's topic in Sugarcube Corner
I'd be an earth pony. I always prefer the actual hard work to the payoff than the payoff itself, and would probably enjoy figuring out how to get around in the world with a lack of magic and wings. You have to use strategy and wits to do simple tasks. It'd add an extra layer of challenge to life. I would likely fit in best at Sugarcube Corner. I'm not much of a baker, but I wouldn't mind learning and having that be my main career. At Sugarcube Corner I could be fairly quiet, just baking/serving while enjoying the company of the other ponies and their conversations/adventures. Those are all just bonuses to the fact that I'd get to live wit' Pinkie and we'd get to bake together. Squee. -
Why is Encyclopedia Dramatica obsessed with us?
Zerobot replied to Sergios117's topic in Sugarcube Corner
It's a website dedicated to making fun of everything. I wouldn't expect them to go easy on bronies. Seriously, anything put on ED is going to be incredibly dramatic (cwutididther) and this fandom does give a lot of potential for content. Being offended by ED is like being mad at a machine that was built to throw knives in every direction for throwing a knife at you. It's what it does, just stay out of its way if you're not immune to knives. I'm not sure what I was doing with that analogy. Or I guess it's a simile because I used like. Dangit. -
I like that if you are talking to someone who is also a brony, the two of you instantly have dozens of new conversation topics. Favorite pony? Favorite episode? Thoughts on alicorn Twilight Sparkle? It also gives (most bronies I've met) a bit of humility. You can't really act too stuck up or proud when you're discussing pastel horses. You lower yourself a bit, you allow yourself to be insulted, you accept the fact that most people you meet will likely hate bronies. Talking with fellow bronies lets you sort of step outside the realm of normal conversations. You already know that you're likely to be friends with the other person, so the conversation can flow more steadily, without any need for worrying that they will judge you for (most of your) strange interests. tl;dr two bronies meeting for the first time can easily connect and have lots of opinions on the show to discuss.

During the first half of season 1, Rarity was my least favorite character. She just seemed to be the "Hey everyone, little girls like fashion right? Let's have a prissy fashion pony" pony. Then she developed past just her flaws, with being a savvy business pony and an entrepreneur. The British accent helps too, of course. Once she started having very likable/relatable traits, her flaws were a lot more entertaining because there was real character behind them. It could be easy for someone who isn't interested in her good points (independent business owner, British, etc) to just be annoyed by her fairly constant whiny prissiness. Generous, British, What's not to love about her? This is a haiku. I gain 5 psychic points if you counted out the syllables on your fingers.

Ponies taught me an inverse of the golden rule: don't expect to be treated by others the way you'd treat them. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on you and your personal interests - ranging from ecstatic to enraged. If they react in a way that is sub-par when compared to your expectations, there isn't really much you can say to change their minds. You just have to actually respect and tolerate their opinion. I can't think of many worse ways than by saying "Love and tolerate." and then ignoring them because they don't fit into your ideal world of perfect people. There's a world of difference between what you're saying and what you're doing. So I guess what I've learned is: Some people won't care, stop caring. Don't say you don't care - just don't care. The Care Bears must be so ashamed of me right now... To clarify the "not caring" is for if they definitely do not want to give the show a chance, or already have and didn't care for it. Just move on to another conversation topic, it's not like that person is immediately toxic.

She spent the first several years of her life doing lonesome, repetitive, sad, boring work. She never smiled. That side of her is still buried inside her, and she tries to ignore it and forget about it by surrounding herself with friends and more smiles. Some people would say this is a poor method, or that she's ignoring the problem, but it has pretty much worked. Up until Party of One she was still working under the assumption that she needed to keep her friends entertained, lest they grow tired of her and leave her. After Party of One though it's safe to assume she has successfully taken on the role of "happy". She's sad every now and then, but it's unlikely it will be on the level of Party of One again because she is convinced that her friends will always be there for her, and that she'll always be needed because all of Ponyville relies on her to keep their spirits high. I wouldn't say she is/was schizo or depressed, or has any other mental problems like that. She is/was just afraid of being alone again, and got really scared when it looked like it was happening. I don't think that's all too irrational. Exactly this. It's isn't actually that difficult to find motives behind her every action, considering she's aware that making other ponies laugh is her role in life.

I'm an atheist because I'm a rebellious teen and you can't tell me what to do. ...I mean, because I think people should do what they think is right regardless of an eternal reward/punishment system, and regardless of whether or not some all knowing being is constantly judging them. I don't mind people who are religious though. Best case scenario it can make you be a better person, and if someone is using their religion as an excuse to be racist or intolerant or rude then I'm not going to dislike them because they're religious, I'm going to dislike them because they're being racist or intolerant or rude.

Not really a crush but I have the utmost respect and admiration for Digibrony. If it turns out he's the devil I'd totes sell him my soul in exchange for some peaches or somethin'. I don't even really like peaches that much. They're good and all, but if Digibrony wasn't the devil I wouldn't trade my soul for them.

I was role playing as my OC while taking the test, and he demanded that every box be filled in. I guess you could say he really puts the OC in OCD. I don't actually have an OC, this post was made entirely for that joke.

This is the most brohoof'd post I have ever made. "It was me! I was the turkey all along!" - Gir "I was wondering what that turkey was doing there.." - Zim "You're right, my friend, man is the only animal that wears pants during twosies." - JD ""<insert practically any Pinkie quote>" - Pinkie Pie"- Flipturn ツ "D'ya take and try to give an iron clad leave to yourself from a three railed billiard shot? But just as I say it takes judgement brains and maturity to score in a balkline game I say that any boob can take and shove a ball in a pocket...and I call that sloth. The first big step to the depths of de-gra day. First, medicinal wine from a teaspoon - then beer from a bottle!" - Harold Hill I'm trying to memorize that song so I typed that from memory. Hopefully it's accurate enough :b I realize that those stopped being cartoons, but sometimes life is so whimsical it's like a cartoooon

I think this'd go in the Show Discussion section, or even more accurately the S01:E01+E02 thread Good review, I agree that the first two episodes are ...eh, good enough, but there's plenty of room for improvement. Which is probably a good thing, in a way. It helped walk the first bronies towards the conclusion that it's a good show. It started mediocre, and just went up from there. It's new characters that need to develop, and thankfully they sure did. I think that's also good, in a way. The characters started out somewhat one dimensional, seeming like cookie cutter characters. Then as season 1 progressed, their lovable qualities shined through and all was right with the world. Edit: Typed this reply to your post and was notified of my lack of permission to respond. Had to hunt ya down again
