The blacksmith kirin nods in agreement.

Charlotte can’t help but shake her head as Fukami is literally asking for information she could’ve provided him, along with a lot more. Oh well, he wants to do things his way, let him have at it. She thought to herself.

“My name is Ayla.” The female kirin replied. “Just Ayla. What’s this you say about flying? I’m a kirin, we don’t fly. Personally, I’m not one for relaxing much. Silence actually bothers me… yea, I know, I’m weird. I’m a bit of a wanderer, you can ask Charlotte, I kinda come and go from this place. Seems like you know what you’re doing with your life, though. We all saw what you and your friend did back there, can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like it before. Pretty impressive. I’m guessing you’re not from around here, either. Where do you call home?” She asked.

The blacksmith kirin gives a bit of a sad sigh. “I am sorry, but I would not even know where to begin with making armour. If you have a design for an axe…” He stops as he watches Samurai’s kuroko appear from seemingly out of nowhere as he hands a book to Samurai and just as quickly disappears. He noticed the page that falls out of the book and looks to Silver.

“Umm, Samurai? What was on that page? It looked very… interesting.” Silver asked.

Charlotte looks to the kirin and then back to Fukami before shrugging. “Alright then. Go ahead then, buddy. I’ll just sit right here and observe.”

She moves a few steps back and watches with an amused look.

The blacksmith looks up from his work. “I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as far as I am aware, there has never been such a thing as kirin armour.” He explains. “We are a peaceful race, nopony here really has ever ‘gone to battle’, as it were.” He thinks quietly for a few moments. “Now what else could we possibly use to show unity between our cultures? I do not know much about yours, myself. Perhaps you could explain some important elements to me?” He asks.

Charlotte blinks as she sees who Fukami is talking to. Then she gets a bit of a smug look as she figures out what’s going on. “Fukami~? Do you know who that is?”

She leans over to Fukami and whispers. “I know everypony here. I can help you out if you want.” She says with a wink.

The blacksmith looks up from his work, currently an axe, and looks at him with a kind expression. “Samurai, I am humbled to not only meet you, but to also see you in my shop today. We do not have much of a need for weapons in this town, so I primarily make implements to assist folks with our gathering and farming tasks. Right now, I am working on an axe for one of our loggers. As for your question, yes, you may request whatever you like, and I will do my best to create what you have in mind. Anything for the town hero!” He explains with a smile, returning to his work while Samurai considers what he might like.

Charlotte elects to follow Fukami to wherever he’s headed. She walks quietly behind him for a while until she suddenly asks, “Where are you headed, Fukami, hmmmmmmmm?” in a playfully accusing tone.

The midday sun beat down on Nebel as he walked along the strip. He had the unfortunate luck of having a dark grey coat, which only amplified the effects of the desert heat. What was a vault dweller doing out in the middle of New Pegas? Currently, Nebel didn’t really know. All he knew was that Mr. House had a job that needed to be done, and the lot had fallen on him to do it.

Once he arrived in Mr. Houses’ office, Nebel stood quietly as he absorbed the information he was being given while reading the piece of paper.

“This sounds rather… dangerous.” He responded after Mr. House finished speaking. “If somepony was ambushed, then this package is indeed very important. No doubt this pony is armed and expecting a fight, if I am to go up against them, I will need some sort of weapon of my own. Will one be provided for me?” He asks.

All the while, the fearful words and expressions of his younger sisters replayed over and over in his mind once they learned the news. Nightfall Horizon, the older of the two, was adamant about coming along, but there was no way he could allow that. If anything happened to her, he could never forgive himself.

“Sure thing!” Silver replies. Once Samurai is finished eating, he leads his friends over to the blacksmith, making a bit of small talk on their way over.

“So why do you like the blacksmith so much, my friend?” He asks Samurai curiously. “Is there something I’m missing here from our time in Japone?” He thinks for a while but comes up with nothing. “Unless I’m not getting something obvious here, which honestly, wouldn’t be the first time.”

“Yep, we sure do!” Silver nods his head in agreement. “We visited the farm, the theatre, and Charlotte’s art galley earlier. When you’re finished eating, we could go to the blacksmith next. Or we could also tour the museum of kirin history. Aside from that, I believe that’s about it. Our village is… rather small. It’s nice, but we don’t get many visitors here, so we don’t go big on the tourist attractions.”

Silver shook his head. “Nope! You both agreed to help protect the village, and you just gave us a prime example of doing so. Rain Shine said that you may take whatever you may need, so you have double confirmation that you are more than welcome to our food and supplies. I am happy that you like our village so far, Samurai.” The kirin smiled. “Things are very relaxed and casual here. A bit too relaxed if you ask me. However, after being in Japone and experiencing the sort of lifestyle you both have, I can see why this environment would be appealing to you. This place has always been my home, so perhaps I am just a bit biased against it.” He considers.

The four of them worked together and made short work of the food stand repairs. Fukami uses his wind magic to help keep pieces in place while he works. Silver looks over from his project and notices that Samurai has started sculpting a statue. After they are finished, he walks over to the statue and finds that it is of two kirin hugging each other.

“Wow, Samurai, this looks amazing! Hey, Charlotte, come look at this!” He called to his sister.

Charlotte immediately bounced over to the statue. “Awww! This is so cute! Samurai, you’re so talented! How are you so good at everything?” She asks with a playful smile.

“But, but, that’s not what…” Silver shook his head as Samurai headed over the food stand. “…I meant.” He looked to Fukami and shrugged. “Well, if we can’t stop him, we may as well help him out. Let’s go, Charlotte.”

Charlotte nods and follows close behind.

After a quick trip to his shop to grab some wood and tools, Silver and his sister arrive at the food stand.

“Well, it doesn’t look that bad. I’m sure we can get this fixed up pretty quickly together.” Silver grabbed a board and started hammering it into place. As he went along, Charlotte would levitate more nails over to him so he could continue making repairs. He also brought plenty of extra nails, tools, and boards for the samurai to use as well.

Silver looks over at the food stand and then back to Samurai. “You literally just got done with a humongous battle.” He blinked. “Fixing a food stand is the least of your concerns right now. Not sure if you remember but I am a carpenter, I can fix this easily. It’s very kind of you to want to help, but I’d feel better if you refrained from doing any sort of work for now.”

Charlotte nodded her head in agreement, a concerned look on her face.

“Very good, then.” Rain Shine smiles. “I shall leave you in capable hooves.” She says before returning her attention to her citizens.

Silver nods in reply. “Yes, this is Charlotte, my little sis…”

“Yep! That’s me!” Charlotte interrupts. “Awww! You’re just as sweet as Fukami is! We’ve been giving him a tour of the village. So far, he’s seen the farms, the theatre, and my art gallery!” She explained, nearly bouncing with energy. “Was there any place in particular that you wanted to go see, Samurai? Or maybe you don’t wanna go anywhere at all, that’s fine! After all you’ve just been through, I wouldn’t blame you if you just wanted to take it easy for a while.” She smiled.

Rain Shine is a bit confused when they don’t rise on their own, but then she remembers from the letters that Silver had written that honour was very important to them.

“Rise, Samurai and Fukami, heroes of the kirin village!” She declares with a smile. “You may choose to leave now if you must, though I think we would all prefer for you to stay. Just know that you will always be welcome here!”

A few kirin who gathered around from nearby clopped their hooves together and cheered. Silver and Charlotte came up and gave them both hugs.

Rain Shine looked at the two samurai ponies before her and smiled. “Neither of you are being sent away, not after what you just did for us here. Silver explained to me what happened, about how he had a dream about us being attacked here. He is very dedicated to his home village, and he would have come back regardless of whether you two escorted him. This chimera would have followed him here and things would have ended much poorly for both him and the rest of us.” She sighs and shakes her head at the thought. “We are a formidable force banded together, but we cannot go up against the likes of dark magic. This monster is gone now, thanks to your efforts. Perhaps things did not go the way you wanted them to, but you did not fail us. The last thing you are is a burden to us, and you are free to come and go as you wish. There is not much I can offer you, aside from our eternal gratitude. But, if you are needing food or other basic supplies, you are free to take as much as you wish.” She said solemnly.

Nebel is fine, and including his sister as a companion works out. Given their age and Equestrian heritage I think it would make sense for them to have grown up in an Equestrian Stable near Las Pegasus, Stable 21, (The one where disputes are settled by gambling) It's history is similar to the story of Vault 21 in New Vegas, only replacing Mr. House with the Casino Heads. I'm thinking that a request was put in for the stable to send out a volunteer for a mission with a large reward for completion, and the lot fell on Nebel to complete it, his sister tags along regardless because she cannot be dissuaded.

Very nice! I like this a lot and I agree it would make the most sense given the setting and the characters I have provided. I look forward to seeing where this will go!

“I can take you to her.” Silver nods in reply. “However, before we go, I must tell you a bit about her. She had not been entrusted with some great and mysterious power, nor does she possess great combat or magic skills. None of us are like that here, we are simple folk who try to live a peaceful, quiet existence. I am one of the few exceptions who desires to travel and see the world. I would just like you to keep this all in mind.” He explains. “Oh, and one more thing, her name is Rain Shine.”

With the village back to the way it was, the walk to their leaders’ house was quite short. But they did not find her there. They would find her at the village center, by the fountain, checking on her citizens and making sure everypony was ok.

“Rain Shine! My friend Samurai would like to speak with you!” He called.

Rain Shine looked up from the kirin she was talking with and nodded silently. She bid this kirin farewell before making her way over to Silver and his friends. Rain Shine is very tall, about as tall as Princess Celestia. She is also rather slender, and her horn is much larger than that of a normal kirin. She has a pale brown coat, her scales are a cream colour, and her mane and tail are green with lighter green streaks. A small golden crown occupied the top of her head. He looked to Samurai with deep red eyes and a small, kind smile.

“Samurai, is it?” She spoke in a voice that sounded sophisticated, but gentle. “I cannot thank you enough for what you’ve done here for us. You and your warrior friend here.” She points to Fukami. “Is there anything we could do to repay you for the heroic effort you showed us today?” She asks.

Silver blinks once again as the creature attempts to put a response together but fails, and simply runs off into the wilderness.

“Oh well, I tried.” He shrugs, turning his attention to Samurai’s kuroko as they made their way through the village. As they bow, Silver bows back in return, wishing them safe travels as they headed back to Japone. At least, that’s where he assumed they were going. He then looks over to Samurai and notices how much he’s struggling.

“Be careful, Samurai!” He says as he races over to help Fukami. “Try to take it easy, ok? Maybe we should go someplace so you can sit down and rest for a bit. I think we all need that right now. What do you think, Fukami?”

Apologies for not responding sooner. I would like to use my character Nebel for this RP. I had also been contemplating adding one of his younger sisters, Nightfall Horizon as a companion for him. I shall post her info below.

Backstory: Nightfall is the antithesis of her older brother, Nebel. She is very headstrong, willing to fight anypony, and constantly pushing herself to show her father that she has what it takes to join the Canterlot Royal Guard. Most of her energy is put towards this goal, and she doesn’t feel that her schoolwork is important. She does not understand why her brother will not step up into the roles everypony around him is expecting him to be filling.

Personality: Nightfall is a strong fighter, not very sociable, stands up for her family and the few friends she has. Likes to be outside and active in sports when not training to be a solider. Jealous of her younger sister for already having a cutie mark.

Age: 12

Physical Description: Average height and build, burgundy coat, brown and dark blue mane, and brown eyes. Her horn glows turquoise when using her magic.

Magic spells/skills: Training her skill in spells for combat. Does not have a cutie mark yet.

Likes: Fighting, training, sports

Dislikes: Meek ponies, bullies, injustice

Silver blinks as he watches Fukami ease Samurai down onto the ground.

“Yes, we did it.” Silver says with a smile. “The village is safe now. Deandre’s attack is over now.”

Silver’s attention turns to said llama as he arises from being knocked down. He watches as the other two heads of the creature also wake up and, much like the dragon they encountered in Japone, they also have no idea what was going on or how they got to the village. Clearly the work of Snow Leopard, in case there had been any doubts. Seeing this creature exhibit a more innocent nature made Silver and the rest of the kirin relax quite a bit.

“Uhhh, hi there.” Silver decided to attempt a conversation. “That white leopard you spoke of, he did this to you. He cast a spell on you that possessed you with an evil icon. My friends and I had to fight it, to take it down, in order to destroy it and dissipate the magic. I believe you are fine now. Before you leave, was there anything that you needed? We could give you some food for the trip back home if you like.” Silver offers.

The entire village watches Samurai as they finish transferring all their fire magic to him. He draws a circle around himself using magic, and then, he begins his transformation. He starts to float as his mane and tail change colours, and fire appears from his hooves. His eyes go white, much like a kirin when they go through their nirik transformation. The siblings blink and watch in amazement as Samurai powers through all the tiles like they were nothing. Deandre frantically shuffles the tiles more and more, but it doesn’t stop Samurai’s flight towards him. He makes impact and sends the llama flying into the neighbouring tile. Then, before Deandre can recover, Samurai follows up with a devastating kick to the icon, causing it to crack and explode.

With the icon gone, the landscape turns back to normal. Everything and everypony is back where they belong.

“Samurai!” Silver calls out as he gallops over to him. “Thank you so much for this! I had no idea you had that in you.” He comments as he looks over at a passed-out Deandre.

Ok, this all sounds great to be honest, I like the D&D style so no issues from me there. I think a Fallout-based RP would need to have at least some tabletop mechanics. I do have one more question, are you open to having filly/foal OCs in your RP?
