  1. Merry Birthiversary!

  2. I got the greenlight to post this! Thanks Admins/mods! Hello, everyone! What I'm about to present to you all is a bit different when it comes to other games. I bring you a pony project I've been working on, something practically new for the fandom to dive into ... via Amazon's Alexa. As Spark A.I. (Spark Artificial Intelligence,) I've been learning to create Alexa skills as a new developer and have made a FiM skill as one of my first projects. My creation is called "World of Equestria." Designed with 2 main parts and 1 surprise: Equestria fact: Alexa randomly chooses a fact to tell. You can listen to just one, or as many as you like. Equestria trivia game: A series of 3 random questions. The goal, get all 3 correct. If you get some wrong, there's a bonus question if you want it. You should be able to play every day and always get a different combination of questions. The hidden surprise: This is my favorite part. Within each step, Alexa will ask if you want to continue. If you answer with something she won't recognize (you can say anything to trigger this hidden part, so go nuts,) Alexa will say randomly crazy pony things in response, then she repeats her original question. World of Equestria is still growing, but the skill is live and ready for everyone to play. I will be adding a lot more facts, trivia questions, and crazy Alexa pony sayings over time. I would like to see if the fandom is interested and wants more. I have the ability to monitor the analytics of my Alexa skills, so I'll know how many people enable and play it. Here are the Amazon links to World of Equestria, currently available in English speaking countries that have the 'kids skill' category. This is completely free to enable and play: (US) - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G15NBBW (UK) - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07G15NBBW (IN) - https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07G15NBBW (AU) - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07G15NBBW Anyone owning a device with Alexa will be able to use this skill. For those that don't have an Alexa device, you can download the Alexa App. (Note: Amazon does not have kids skills available in the Canadian Amazon store or any other remaining English speaking countries. Only in the 4 I've listed above. As soon as Amazon expands Kids Skills into more English Speaking countries, I'll be able to launch World of Equestria to those countries as well.) Important Note: I designed this as a kids skill. Amazon has a Verified Parental Consent feature for kids skills in order to operate within the confines of child data protections, like the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Here's what to expect if you haven't enabled kids skills before: To enable a kid skill for the first time, Alexa will ask the customer to give permission in the Alexa app and will guide the customer through the process. To give permission, parents will need to verify their identity using a one-time SMS code sent to the mobile phone number in their Amazon account, or by entering the security code of the credit card in their Amazon account. Alexa will save the parental consent and access to kid skills will not require this verification again. This is normal and is part of Amazon policy to protect kids under the age of 13. I hope you all enjoy my new creation. Let me know what you think of it. And remember, I'll be adding more to this over time. If you have any suggestions of what you would like to see in my World of Equestria Alexa Skill, reply to this thread. Have fun!
  3. I love your profile pic!

Thanks! It's one of my favorite pics.

  4. So, I figure I should post an update. Thanks to a new friend here on the forum, I was able to trade that spare autographed Pinkie I had for an autographed Andrea Libman Fluttershy a few weeks ago. So now I finally have my autographed Fluttershy card, and my new friend over in England got my spare autographed Pinkie! It worked out perfectly! And for some recent news, on ebay, I had won an auction for 15 series 3 packs for a really awesome deal. The breakdown price for each pack ended up being signicantly less than if I had tried to purchase them in a store, so this worked out perfectly. I contemplated on keeping the packs for myself, considering the wonderful deal I was able to get for them. But, I decided to let my little sister have the packs instead. Because, you know, big brothers do that for little sisters sometimes. So then what happens? As I watched my little sister open the packs, she pulled an autographed Ingrid Nilson Muad Pie card from one of those 15 packs! I stood there in silent disbelief while my inner voice was screaming....."AAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGHH, I LITERALLY GAVE AWAY A SERIES 3 AUTOGRAPHED CARD! WHYYYYYYYYYYY!" But, I guess it was worth it. My sister pulling that autograph was a total surprise. Seeing the expression of shock on her face when realizing that she had just pulled an autographed Ingrid Nilson Maud Pie card was totally priceless! This is her very first autographed card. And now, pardon me while I continue to kick myself.
  5. That is very impresive! Do you post things on Deviant Art? I'd like to see more of your talent.
  6. This thread's been dead for six months? I must remedy this! Enterplay had some Cyber Monday flash sales last week in which I was able to grab an autographed card. I also still have my autographed Andrea Libman Pinkie Pie card from their flash sale last year as well, so now I have 2 autographed cards. Well, Pinkie Pie must've visited the mirror pool again, because the random card I recieved in the mail yesterday is another autographed Andrea Libman Pinkie Pie card. Now I have 2 of the same autographed card. So, does anyone here need an autographed Andrea Libman Pinkie Pie card? I just so happen to have a spare now. I know it's a long shot, but I'm looking to trade it for another autographed MLP card, if someone is willing to do a straight across trade. I would love to have the autographed Fluttershy card as my top choice. But I would be happy with a Celestia, Twilight, or Rarity autographed card as well. Spike is on the bottom of my list, so I'll only trade for him if nothing else happens. And I have no interest in the Snips autographed card. I have nothing against Lee Tockar, but Snips is worst pony.
  7. There have been an army of eBay sellers that have had their eBay/PayPal accounts limited, frozen, or suspended for the stupidest reasons ever since eBay bought PayPal a few years ago. Many of these sellers are eBay veterans that have been with eBay for a great many years with perfect or near perfect customer feedback. Then..WHAM! Out of nowhere these veteran's accounts are hit. I could write a novel on what I've read, but it would probably be easier for me to say (and not to derail this thread more), google "eBay (and/or) PayPal complaints," or "ebay (and/or) PayPal reviews." You'll find a long list of story, after story, after story of sellers, and a hanful of buyers, who have been wronged by eBay/PayPal due to the business's flawed system and extremely poor customer service. One I've read constantly is about scammy buyers that uses eBay/PayPal's system to scam sellers out of merchandise. Basically, these buyers will purchase something from a seller, then after recieving it the buyer will submit some type of false claim using "buyer protection" that the item didn't arrive (regardless if the seller used delivery comfirmation), the item was damaged, or some other bogus lie. Then eBay/PayPal refunds the buyer with no questions asked and leaves the seller with a loss. Apparently, it doesn't matter what the seller says to defend him/her self because eBay/PayPal always takes the side of the buyer and never the seller. The seller can't even leave negative feedback for a bad customer anymore because eBay only allows the seller to leave postive feedback, while in the meantime the buyer can leave negative feedback all they want. I guess I better say somethng card related now, since this is a MLP trading card thread. That autographed Pinkie card I linked to on eBay had finally sold for $183.78. Pretty impressive. Gives me a little bit of hope if I ever gather up enough courage to try selling my own autographed Pinkie on eBay. Though, there's always a possibilty that my Pinkie won't do as well. These are "auctions" after all. You never truly know untill all is said and done.
  8. Toywiz is pretty much not a possibilty for me. I looked at their prices long ago and they are ridiculously high, even more so than some eBay prices. Looking at Toywiz again just now, it appears their prices have gone up. I do keep a close eye on eBay. I've gotten a few standard and parallel foil cards that way for super cheap through auction style bidding for less than $1 each time. The golds, however, are a completely different story. My stash of disposable cash is microscopic and is not easily replenished, so I can't be dropping a bunch of money on gold cards. My best bet for gold cards on eBay is to wait for someone to put one or more on auction style bidding and hope I can get one for cheap that way. I've seen some gold box topper cards go for less than $10 for each card with auction style, but I'm always out bid by a sniper or someone's automatic bid. My plan was to find someone that has extras of both the promos and golds on my list that wants my autographed Pinkie. I know my chances of finding someone like that is slim, but figured I'd give it a try and see if I'm lucky enough to find that one person. I do check eBay periodically. I'm always putting cards I want to keep an eye on into my watch list to see how they do when the auctions end for them. AJ and Derpy promo prices have dropped dramatically, in comparison to how they used to be a year ago. AJ has been selling mostly for between $25-$45 (up to $75 or $80 on rare occassions.) Derpy has been selling for $20-$35. There was a Derpy promo that just sold for $8, but I totally missed out on the end of that auction due to unforseen circumstances. I like FlutterDash4072's idea about putting my Pinkie card on eBay and then use whatever money I get for it to buy what I'm looking for. Yea, it most likely wouldn't be in time for Christmas, but I can try for my sister's birthday instead, which is late next month. I've never sold anything on eBay before, though. I've thought about before, but I'm a bit scared off from selling on eBay due to the horror stories I've read while doing research on the topic. I'm not comfortable yet going that route.
  9. Howdy, y'all. I got this from Enterplay's Cyber-Monday flash sale. It arrived to me on Saturday. These autographed cards were sent out at random, so there is really no idea who you'd be getting untill it arrives. In my case, it turns out to be Pinkie Pie signed by her VA, Andrea Libman. I would like to put this autographed Pinkie card up for trade. If it had been a signed Fluttershy, I would've kept it, since Fluttershy is my fave pony. But I decided that if I had gotten anyone else, I would be using it for trade. You might be asking; why would WildAnime trade such a rare and highly valued card? (there's an autograph Pinkie card on ebay right now currently at over $100.) Well, I have 2 answers for that. For one, I need to locate some golds and promo cards to help finish out my Series 1 collection. And second, I want to find a Series 1 Applejack promo card for my sister and surprise her with it for Christmas (AJ is her fave pony.) Even though I still don't have the S1 AJ Promo myself, I would like to give a S1 AJ Promo to my sister for Christmas instead, rather than keep it for my own collection. I already have a couple of promos that my sister doesn't have (S1 RD and Fluttershy) and is likely that she will never be able to get those ones for herself. Neither one of us will pay eBay prices for promos. So I'm hoping I can use my autograph Andrea Libman Pinkie card to trade for what I'm looking for. The following are the cards I'm looking for; Series 1 #F35 Applejack promo card for my sister's Christmas gift. (this is a must as it is the main reason I'm putting my autographed card up for trade.) The cards I'm looking for to help complete my Series 1 collection are: All four Series 1 gold box toppers; G5,G6,G7,and G8. Series 1 #F41 Derpy Promo Series 1 #F40 Rarity Promo (I know my chances are practically zero on this one, but it doesn't hurt to bring it up.) Series 1 G2 Luna (this one would be for my sister since I already have one.) That is really all I need to find to finish out my Series 1 collection. As I stated above, the Series 1 AJ promo card is a must for the trade to happen. I reeeeeeaally want to get that AJ promo card for my sister's christmas. As for the other cards I'm looking for myself, I realize that I probably won't be able to get all of them through this potential trade for my autographed Pinkie, but at least a few of them would be nice to add into the trade. So, what do y'all think? Is there a potential here for a trade? Is anyone here interested in my autographed Pinkie card?
  10. Hello. It’s my first time posting in this forum, so I hope I’m doing this right and started this topic in the correct place. Something has been going on with some of the DHX Media employees that has me a bit worried and I’m hoping someone here in this forum might be able to shed some light on what’s going on. There is a possibility (and I stress the word “possibility”) that there may be some type of new DHX crackdown on employees posting pony on the internet. Now, I don’t want this thread to turn into a panic thread. I’m just looking for any facts and info that might help to find an answer to whatever is recently going on. And now, time for the meat & potatoes of this thread. As of right now, there seem to be at least 2 DHX employees that have removed there pony stuff from the internet very, very recently. The first to come to my attention was Nayuki of the Allspark forum. Nayuki is a layout artist for FiM and had been a member of the Allspark since March 9, 2011. From what I can tell, Nayuki’s last posts on the Allspark was on June 26, 2013, of which EQD had quoted him on in an EQD post you can find here. EQD has quoted Nayuki many times before with no problems whatsoever. What happened next could be only coincidental or maybe directly related, but within a day or two later, Nayuki started removing all of his posts from the Allspark, leaving only a few empty posts behind. He wiped everything, including posts that really didn’t have much to do with pony. He had over 500 posts there. Nayuki even removed his custom-made Lyra avatar and his profile info. His account still technically exists at the time of me posting this, but his last visit there was on July 3. He has not been heard from since. The second to come to my attention was Sibsy (aka Sabrina Alberghetti). She is one of the storyboard artists for FiM. From what I can tell, Sibsy has scrubbed her deviant Art gallery of all the pony art she’s done recently. All of her Wildfire art and anything else to do with pony has been completely deleted from her account. But, unlike Nayuki, Sibsy appears to still be active. Even though her pony stuff has been wiped from her dA, she is still active on deviant Art along side her twitter. These two instances of pony related things being deleted from DHX employee’s forum and art accounts aren’t enough to officially say that this is some type of recent DHX crackdown. More facts and info need to be collected to help determine whether or not that is the case. On a side note; Sibsy’s really good friend, Raven (FiM storyboard artist), still has all of her pony related art on her dA account for the moment. Whatever has been going on, Raven doesn’t seem to be affected yet. So, does anyone here have information that could be shared? Have there been any other DHX people that have removed their pony related content from the internet recently during the past month or so? Remember, this is just an information gathering thread. It is NOT intended to be a panic thread.
