Ok, thanks :).  I was just wondering what people thought of it since I was considering joining since there really isn't anyone that plays dnd in my area.  Or at least no one is willing to play during the day since I have some issues with walking at night but that's for a different topic altogether.  I just want to find people that I can play with since I'm rather new to it and want to try.

The 'join a game' page is good in that you can filter it by 'accepting new players' and search for 'D&D 5th Edition' (for example) but there's always the usual issues of finding a random group online. Especially since you're new, be sure to make clear that you will need help learning the rules (not to mention the often unspoken and highly variable etiquette of RPGs.) 

Yeah, I noticed that and I have been looking through some of what's available.  Definitely think it's worth trying at least.
