Nuclear Neurotic

Nuclear sat in the fighter's lounge, ecstatic to have made it through the first round. But she also felt fear, knowing that the others were the stronger of the fighters from the last round. 'I'm afraid. I really hope I don't die....maybe...I can ask my opponent for a quick death if they don't want to agree to no killing....' Nuclear glanced at the fighters, checking out each of them and the ones she really didn't want to fight.

Nuclear helped Jaqueline stand up. "I would like that. No one really has cheered for me so it would be a big confidence booster." She let Jaqueline lean on her as support as they walked out of the arena. "I suggest you go to the infirmary...cause that was a bit of radiation you got doused with...not enough to really hurt you though..." She smiled nervously.

Nuclear turned to the ref, her hoof still extended in good will. A tired smile graced the gray unicorn mare's face. "I knocked her out of the ring...." @@ChristophR, She turned back to Jaqueline. 'I'm glad that this fight didn't end in any blood shed...that makes me really happy....'

Nuclear smiled at Jaqueline and walked a few steps towards her. "I didn't want to to kill you so I didn't use my full extent of my radiation magic." Another smile broke across her face, showing good will. "You seem like a nice pony." She held out her hoof over the edge of the ring. "Here, I'll help you up."

Nuclear squinted, barely able to see Jaqueline. 'Dang, she's pretty tough...' the gray mare thought before suddenly being hit in the side. "OW!" The hit was just strong enough to make her nearly trip and make her right side sore. She rubbed some of the pain away, watching as her opponent flickered into view. "There you are!" said Nuclear, smiling at Jaqueline. "Time to get this over with!" In that moment, Nuclear used one of her stronger attacks, sending a large ball of radiation straight at Jaqueline, hopefully not enough to kill her. "CASTLE BRAVO!" She didn't want that.

Nuclear was well aware of Jaqueline's attempts to distract her and frowned. "Oh come on! You can't be seriously trying that again?!" she yelled, running at her, the distance between the two of them quite short. She raised a glowing hoof to smack Jaqueline in the face, dosing her with more radiation and canceling out the sleeping spell.

Nuclear saw the rock rolling towards her and she clenched her teeth. "Damn it!!" She looked at Jaqueline then at the rock. 'Ah...um...aha!' Nuclear's face brightened as she got an idea. For a split second she added more power to her radiation beam to off throw the balance. That move allowed just enough time to jump clear of the rock by somersaulting out of the way. The rock smashed into the side of the arena, jolting a few of the crowd. "Pretty smart, my friend!" She grinned at Jaqueline, though not in a malicious way. She was genuinely impressed. "But let's see if you can dodge this!" She galloped towards Jaqueline as her yellow aura waxed around her. The gray mare tackled her, her radiation aura obviously causing some immediate sickness and dizziness. "IVY MIKE!" Nuclear shouted, creating another explosion, this one quite dangerous and capable of harming as the radius reached the two unicorns.

Nuclear tripped over herself from missing Jaqueline and was about to curse when she noticed her hair had grown back. "Thanks I guess!?" she shouted at the red unicorn, her horn glowing brightly and she also charged up a beam of radiation magic. When she thought it was sufficiently charged she fired straight at Jaquiline.

Nuclear shook her head, feeling slightly drowsy. "Dang it...can't fall....asleep..." 'Shoot shoot shoot...gotta do something fast!' She shook her head again, keeping the drowsiness at bay. Nuclear stomped a hoof before biting down on it hard enough to at least make herself bleed. (kinda like pinching yourself to stay awake) "Sleeping spells? What can't you fight me normally?" asked Nuclear, the glow around her body seeming to condense. She smiled with glee as she flat out charged at Jaqueline, tackling her with her front hooves.

@@ChristophR, Nuclear gasped, the fireballs nearly hitting her in the face. She managed to divert one fireball from her with a radiation blast, the other other singeing her mane close to the scalp. "Not cool! Now I gotta regrow my mane again!" she shouted, grinding her teeth as she kicked off the ground. "SHOT BAKER!" She screeched, another explosion detonating near the red unicorn, kicking up another cloud of dust. Nuclear ran through the cloud, shooting another yellow blast of radiation from her horn right at Jaqueline's face. (She's yelling out different atomic bomb test names haha XD )

@@ChristophR, Nuclear took a deep breath, her eyes watching Jaqueline as a yellow radioactive aura enveloped her horn and slowly spread to her whole body. 'Just need to get a good shot at a limb or make her sick enough to want to stop fighting...I don't want to kill...' She narrowed her eyes. "Crossroads!" she shouted, a large explosion in the arena creating a dust cloud under which she used to charge at Jaqueline. The yellow aura seemed to concentrate around her front hooves as she went in for a punch to the face.

A feeling of nervous excitement seemed to solidify in her gut hearing her name on the speakers. "I'll try not to kill you, okay? You seem really nice...." said Nuclear quietly, before she made her way down to the arena. The gray mare entered the arena, biting her lip at seeing all the ponies in the crowd. 'That's a lot of ponies....' She shook her head and made herself stand up tall. 'I can do this...I can do this...May Trottenheimer allow my spells to be potent....' she thought, giving herself a mental pep talk.

@@ChristophR, Nuclear noticed the red unicorn and walked over to her, a smile on her face. "Hi there! Name's Nuclear Neurotic." she greeted. Nuclear tilted her head in interest about Jaqueline. "You in the tournament too?" In the back of her mind Nuclear made a note of how many fights had already commenced. 'There is a strong possibility this mare is my opponent....'

@@Snowy Storm, @@Frosty V, Nuclear seemed to pale at hearing Frost's and Icy's names. "Dang..I guess we can't chit chat then..." The gray mare scratched the floor with her hoof nervously. She smiled as two ponies entered the arena on the video screen, 'Just don't go crazy and plain out kill each other, okay?'

@@Frosty V, Nuclear sensed she was supposed to introduce herself and laughed at her social faux pas. "Oh, pffft. Name's Nuclear Neurotic. Call me Nuclear or if you really want to call me NN." She grinned at him. 'He seems like a nice pony. At least not all of the competitors here are savages....hopefully...'

@@Snowy Storm, Nuclear turned her head as she heard some hoofsteps heading her direction. She smiled a bit seeing that it was Icy returning to the viewing room. Her smile lessened seeing another pony following her. 'Huh, didn't see him before...wonder why he's chatting with Icy?' She dismissed her thoughts and smiled again. "Hey Icy! Welcome back!" @@Frosty V, Her gaze turned to Frost. "Who's your friend here?"

Nuclear sighed after Icy had left the room. "These fights are crazy..." She scratched her head for a moment, 'How the heck did my parents manage to convince me to enter again...?' The gray mare shook her head to dismiss the saddening thought of her parents possibly wishing for her death. Nuclear bit her bottom lip, watching the spectacle on the screen. The sight of Whiplash and Stone nearly at the brink of death disturbed her.

@@Snowy Storm, Nuclear shook her head, her eyes watching the movements of the two ponies. "It depends." She sighed deeply, glancing at Icy. "If I manage to win...I'll show mercy...." She chuckled darkly. "Probably a stupid decision....but at least somepony needs to show a bit of restraint....don't you think?"

Nuclear seemed a bit disturbed at how the fight had become such a bloodbath. "If they keep going at it like this... There isn't going to be any winner for this match..." She pushed some of her mane from her face, watching the increasingly violent fight continue. 'This is crazy...'

@@Snowy Storm, "Of course it would bother me. But once you're dead there isn't really anything to worry about so..." Nuclear rolled her eyes before looking back at the screen. "Hmm..." Nuclear narrowed her eyes, thinking for a moment, "I think it may be the ten second knockout. But that is probably just wishful thinking." She chuckled a bit.

@@Snowy Storm, "I just want to use my abilities at their full extent for once." mumbled Nuclear, her eyes not leaving the screen. 'Owch! That looked like it hurt.' she thought as she saw Stone punch Whiplash. She turned to Icy with a big grin on her face. "And hopefully have some fun with the fight before my possible death."

@@Snowy Storm, Nuclear shrugged. "I don't really care who wins, to be honest with you." She followed Icy to the viewing room. 'I just want to survive and go back home if that is possible...' thought Nuclear, glancing up at the screen which showed the fight. She sucked in a breath between her teeth seeing the injury that Stone had just received,
