Nuclear Neurotic

@@Snowy Storm, Nuclear heard somepony speaking to her and raised her head to see another mare. "Oh hallo there!" she greeted, smiling at Icy as she got off the seat she was on. She trotted over and smiled again. "Name's Nuclear Neurotic. Nuclear or NN for short." The gray mare's bright shell was to get her mind off her possibly impending death. "And sure! I'll watch with you." .

(Finally joining in~ ) Nuclear sat in the corner of the fighter's lounge, her yellow eyes watching the video monitor with intensity. She wasn't very keen on being here, but her family had convinced her to enter. Probably because they thought her abilities were too dangerous to work in normal society. 'I'm probably going to die. But then again...' She smiled a bit, which was strange considering where she was. 'Where ever else am I going to be able to use my magic in an actual fight...?' she thought. Her ears twitched hearing other contestants names being called.

@, It's fine if she can't be in it. (I say that the character limiiiiiit suuucks sooooo baaaaaaaad)

"Ah....um...." Nuclear raised her hoof, her trembling visible. "Maybe I could...?" 'Yeah, and you'll just kill everyone in the process....' She tried to put on a brave smile on her face as she adjusted the cooking pot on her head, "Eheheheh..." Nuclear laughed nervously, hoping nopony had heard her.

The Timberwolf startled Nuclear, which in response she created an explosion. "Oh, Crossroads!" she swore, She frowned at herself, feeling a bit useless as she had been one of the last to react to the Timberwolf attack. 'Sorry...' she thought, picking up her cooking pot-hat and putting it back on her head,

Nuclear hummed to herself, trembling slightly. The forest was creeping her out, so humming was something to keep her attention from the eerie noises. "Um...I say we listen to Dark...he knows more about the forest than we do..." she remarked. She wasn't very fond of Dark but if he knew about the forest it was best to listen for the moment.

"I'm ready to move on." replied Nuclear, adjusting the cooking pot on her head. Nuclear smiled to herself. She was attempting to keep herself somewhat happy considering the circumstances. Yes, the cooking pot looked ridiculous, but it made her happy.

'I hope this craziness is over soon...even I can't handle it...' Nuclear mused as she scrounged inside the abandoned houses. The burlap sack she had tied to her back was about half full with food and the other half filled with what Nuclear knew could be flammable. You didn't know if something needed to be exploded, Before Nuclear left the house she was in, she grabbed a cooking pot that looked relatively clean and put it on her head. 'Easy headgear and cooking appliance!" She smiled at her own corny humor as she left the house and went back to where everypony was.

I will say that "Are f*cking kidding me?" describes me perfectly due to the amount stupidity I deal with each day with my family.

@@Snowy Storm, Nuclear just Dark a agitated look before turning back to listen to Starscream. @@Starstream, "Sounds like the best option, I guess. I don't to have to deal with this kind of stuff again." She glanced at Dark. "And get told off for being desperate and hungry..." Nuclear muttered.

@@Snowy Storm, The grey mare narrowed her eyes in warning at Dark. 'We are not going to get along....' she snapped mentality before turning to the newcomer. @@Ampharos, Nuclear smiled at Blaze tiredly. "Hello there...I know they've already told you my name but I'm Nuclear Neurotic." She stood up a bit taller as she said her full name.

@@Snowy Storm, Nuclear bared her teeth at Dark before pointing at him with her horn. "Okay, if I'm a murderer then I guess over half of Equestria is too...." she spat, her horn flowing yellow. "What about you, Mister Condescending?" she hissed, feeling hurt. "I bet you've done terrible things. So, unless you are perfect don't talk!"

Nuclear raised her head to look at Soulfire. "But what do you suppose we do? None of probably have any idea what could be the cause of this anarchy...." she remarked, scratching at the ground with her hoof. She looked up at the gloomy sky, now darkened even more by the smoke from the fires. "I'm willing to help I guess..." said Nuclear, smiling widely at Soulfire and Kingfisher. "I have no home to go back to..."

The only convention I have gone to was a nearby con in Omaha called Anime NebrasKon. It was really great and I actually got to meet one of my online friends there who showed me the in-and-outs of basic convention etiquette. I loved it.

@@Starstream, As Nuclear stepped out of the home she heard Starstream shouting, making her turn towards the voice. She shook her head, trying to keep any tears from forming in her eyes. "Starscream..." she walked up to the hysteric pony and took a deep breath, "I don't think they are alive..." She wanted to raise a hoof to put it on the crying mare's shoulder, but knew it wouldn't be welcome knowing the current emotional situation. Nuclear understood what Starscream was feeling. 'I lost my parents in a way similar to this...' she thought. "Starscream...stop..."

Nuclear walked into the house she had burst her way into and looked around. It seemed like there was not much into roomm she was in. So she moved onto the kitchen, grabbing an old burlap sack from the ground to hold whatever she'd find. "I hope they have something in here..." she said, opening the cupboards. She found a small half eaten bag of grain and around 3 very ripe oranges. 'It's not much but it's something...' she thought before hearing one of the civilians of Ponyville yell at her from the living room she had come from. "Hey! That's mine!" Nuclear sighed. "I suggest you let me take this without any resistance or your lifespan is going to be much shorter than it already is." she warned the pony, "No! That is my food and you're going to put it back!" Nuclear's horn began to glow before glancing at the defiant pony. "Your funeral then..." A yellow blast of radiation magic hit the pony, making him stumble and suddenly begin to retch blood, patches of hair falling out from his coat. Nuclear bit her lip as she passed the now radiation sick pony. "I'm sorry..." she muttered, leaving the house.

@, Nuclear spotted Kingfisher breaking into a ruined home. She had moment of inner turmoil of whether or not to do the same thing. 'It's not any different than the looting and arson you did in Manehattan...' a part of her thought. 'I guess...plus...' Nuclear put a hoof to her stomach, feeling the ribs that were visible. 'That apple wasn't much to begin with...' In the next moment Nuclear ran to another home, busting open the door with ease with her explosive magic. Anypony brave enough to make her stop would get a lethal dose of radiation if they tried to stop her. She hated having to use her magic like this. But the current state of Equestria had forced her to use them. And...not surprisingly they were very effective in this new world.

@@Snowy Storm, Nuclear took a few steps back from Dark, actually seeming afraid of him. She gave him a look before taking off into the town. She didn't what she could do to help, her magic mostly being of the destructive variety. But the gray mare was determined to help in some way. @@Fluttering High, Just as Nuclear entered the smouldering ruins of the town, she saw the raincloud put out most of the fires. It was a bit saddening that she couldn't help but at least the fire was dealt with. 'What can explosions and radiation do to help anyway...?' she thought, looking up at Soulfire.

She felt a little better after eating the apple. It wasn't much but it was something. @@Snowy Storm, "You eat meat???" asked Nuclear, raising an eyebrow curiously before shrugging. "If that's what you eat that's fine." she replied, giving him a smile. 'It's still a bit odd though.'
