  1. Hey musicians! I'm brand new to this forum and the show and would love to participate in any way I can. I have my Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance and have been performing and singing since I was 8. I'm just trying to find a way to share my talents and help anyone out who is trying to create some great art. Let me know if you're interested and I can shoot you my website where you can hear me singing. I would love to help create some beautiful music with you all! -SB
  2. This has got to be my favorite episode so far! (I'm still watching all of them for the first time in order) The song "Art of the Dress" is a direct reference to "Putting it Together" by Sondheim from the musical Sunday in the Park with George (I'll include a link to the song so you can hear the similarities) I am a musical theater performer and I just about flipped out when I heard "Art of the Dress" for the first time. It was amazing to hear the similarities between that and a Sondheim song that is not very well known. I'm so excited to keep watching and discover more surprises throughout the series!
  3. This has to be one of my favorite episodes so far. I'm a musical theater boy and this fit right up my alley. The song is amazing and the story was not as predictable as I thought. I was predicting that maybe the other ponies would have accepted a little of Twilight's magic and the moral being something of a "just be yourself to fit in" kind of thing. I love the fact that I was wrong because I was getting a little tired of predicting the moral of the episode. I'm alos LOVING all of the remixes I am finding online of the song. :-)
  4. Hey man! I play minecraft too! Who's your favorite pony so far?? Mine is probably Pinkie Pie for sure. She always makes me smile and laugh.
  5. I'm a gay brony. Funny to discover that gay bronies are a rare breed. Even a show about unicorns, and rainbows, the gays are still the minority. Oh well! I'd love to connect with other gay bronies out there. I'd love to connect with anyone of course, but the gay thing would be an added bonus :-)
  6. I guess I would consider myself a minor brony as well. Just the fact that the brony community exists still blows my mind. Thanks for adding me man!
  7. Hey all! I'm brand new to this community and to the show as of...um.. yesterday.. My brother told me about a friend of his who is a "brony" and I was instantly intrigued. It blew my mind to hear about 20 something guys who were obsessed with My Little Pony. I had to see what all the fuss was about and started watching the show last night. I was immediately hooked. What makes me happy more than anything is knowing that there is a community of people (especially bronies...who would have thought?) who enjoy a show about cute ponies that make you smile, and teach you the values of love, tolerance, and friendship. The world needs more people who value those things. I'm so very excited to meet people and discuss our similar interests. Thank you all for existing! :-)
