  1. Yuki gave a sly smile as she playfully poked at Draco’s side. “So, for an example, you essentially have a hyperactive metabolism whenever you use the speed aspect of your semblance. I was wondering how you could eat so much and not gain a single ounce of weight.” The fox faunus then walked a bit further ahead of her team leader. She didn’t have many opportunities to mess with him, so she had to take what she could get. “Out of curiosity, what exactly were you working on earlier?”
  2. Yuki’s eyes widened at the sound of Ghalan’s voice, but before she could respond to his joke, she found herself being pulled by Draco. She could only watch in amazement as the surrounding area passed in a blur. As for the electricity Draco had used, she jad noticed that it would dance across her skin at times. While it didn’t hurt as much as one might think, it was certainly an unusual experience. The only reason she didn’t drop her scroll was beacuse one hand had it pressed firmy to her chest. “I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that, Ghalan.” She wasn’t sure if he had heard her, but it was better than nothing. When the leader of Team DARC slowed to a complete stop, the fox faunus was amazed to see that they were already in Beacon. “That was amazing.” She said, trying to maintain her balance. “Is that how you see the world?”
  3. Clayton couldn’t help but smirk at Dawn’s banter. Still, they weren’t exactly in the best of positions. “Eat your heart out, Murphy.” After the thought crossed his mind, the unicorn then glanced at Dawn. “I’d say try to cover each other’s back unil we punch a hole that we can escape through. Either that, or just act casual.” Clayton’s eyes then widened as he ducked under a swing that would’ve hit his head. “Never mind, If you have magic, don’t go for a war of attrition. Freeze these tin cans.” A slight glow from his horn indicated a spell, and the grunts that had attacked him was essentially slammed like a club into a few of the others that had come with it.
  4. Yuki followed Draco, making sure to pay attention as to where the masked figured were. The fox faunus could tell that something was going on, but she knew that they were probably already observing the two faunus, if the comment their assumed leader had made was anything to go off of. “Yes, I suppose we should.” Yuki then placed her hand on Draco’s and felt the warmth his body exuded as a result of the electricity constantly running through it. The feeling was comforting at the very least.
  5. Yuki watched as the people moved towards Beacon academy, making sure to follow Draco. The masks they wore were unnerving to say the least, but the group didn’t seem hostile. They probably would’ve attacked by now if they were. “It’d probably be a good idea to maintain a healthy distance from them.” She thought.
  6. Draco’s words didn’t exactly help with Yuki’s blush, but the fox faunus still followed him. “I didn’t know you thought that highly of me, Ryū-kun.” The fox faunus then gave Draco a slight nudge. If he was going to call her a princess, then that gave her the right to come up with a pet name of her own. “So, are we taking the bullhead, or the express route?”
  7. Yuki felt an intense blush form on her cheeks, fully understanding what he had just said. “I... I didn’t realize you knew a second language,” She said, moving to stand with the dragon faunus. It was taking all of her willpower to not stammer. “But yes. I think I should be fine.” The fox faunus didn’t really notice it at the time, but her tail was slowly swaying behind her.
  8. Yuki merely gave a light smile and tapped Draco on the nose. “I’d be insulted if you didn’t, granted Ghalan may want some part of that.” When she finished her meal, she simply sat back and relaxed slightly, Her powers as a maiden were becoming easier to control as time went on, but she still had a long way to go before they were mastered.
  9. Yuki felt a small smile creep to her lips as her tail gently swayed. “I suppose you could say that.” After a few minutes, the fox faunus had finished preparing a late breakfast of scrambled eggs with salmon and orange slices for both herself and Draco. She had also added a bit of mint as well for an herb. She then put the food on two plates and set them on the table, sitting next to her team leader. “Need any help with what you’re working on?”
  10. Yuki felt a light blush develop on her cheeks and got to work preparing a meal for herself and Draco. Thankfully, the fox faunus had made a grocery run the previous day, so everything she needed was relatively easy to find. As she cooked, she also thought about Draco’s own question, From the last letter she got, her family might be coming to see the tournament as well, or at the very least see her after such a long time spent away from home. Either way, she did want ti see if they had arrived safely. “Sure. I don’t have anything to do today, so that should work.”
  11. Yuki watched her team leader from the kitchen and was somewhat curious as to what he was trying to accomplish. She could see how much time he was putting into devloping whatever the final product would entail, and considering the fact that he had given her a shield to help block attacks, maybe the fox faunus could find a way to help him. “You want anything to eat?”
  12. Yuki couldn’t help but blush a little at Ghalan’s pun. “I think I could get a bit colder, and the armor does look nice.” She said. Remembering what Ozpin had told her, she then essentially gave her two teammates a rundown of what exactly had been going on with her new powers, whcih essentually boiled down to her becoming a reincarnation of a being from a fairy tale. She had also noticed the interaction between Gin and Draco, but decided not to comment on that.
  13. Yuki glanced behind Draco to see Ghalan and a snake faunus that she hadn’t seen before walking towards the two. “Well, someone made a new friend,” She said, giving a sly smile. The fox faunus was honestly happy to see her teammate alive and well, figuring that she could ask about what had happened later.
  14. Yuki gave a light sigh and held onto the dragon faunus. “I guess that whole thing with death and immortality is put into place here.” She said. “Never forget those that you lost, for those are the ones who you have the fondest memories of.” When her team leader’s scroll went off, she backed away and looked at him. “Wonder who that could be?” The only people who had his number were members of his team, and Vince hadn’t called. That meant that it could only be Ghalan.
  15. Yuki looked at the floor, before moving to bring her team leader into a hug. Her tailed swayed slightly behind her as her eyes closed. She hadn’t noticed it until that moment, but she was a few inches shorter than the dragon faunus. “It’s ok. You don’t have wear this mask anymore.” She said. “The others and I read your journal after your first fight with Cardin.”
  16. Clayton paused for a moment, before simply shaking his head. “Sorry about that. A lot had happened during those few seconds that I probably didn’t hear it.” He said. Of course, he was referring to the cause of Luter’s outburst. Apparently, he failed at trying to be the emotional support of the team. After getting out of his suit, the unicorn almost felt a but naked now. The current situation didn’t help either. He figured that whatever fabric was used to make the suit offered more protection than skin. “That probably depends entirely on what they’re doing.” He said, before glancing at Dawn and turning off his communicator, if only temporarily, “Look, I know you have a special somepony and that he’ll probably kill me for asking this, but would it make sense if we at least tried to act like a couple.”
  17. Yuki remained silent, before turning her back Ozpin and Glynda, the latter of apparently deciding to remain silent through the conversation. “I think I’ve heard enough.” She said, before boarding the elvator and rising it back down. When she got off, she immedietly ran into Draco and looked at him in surprise. “Oh, hey. I didn’t expect you to be up so soon.” The fox faunus had noticed the shock she had recieved when she made contact with him, but it didn’t hurt that much.
  18. Yuki’s ears flattened against her head as she thought of the memories that had played through her mind when she was incapacitated. “You had Draco’s parents protecting the last winter maiden, didn’t you?” She asked. “What I want to know is why I of all people became the next one.” The fox faunus at this point began to speculate on how Draco would react to this information. This was something the affected both of them, so there was little chance that she would hide this from him.
  19. To be honest, Clayton felt a put form in his stomach. From how Luster had reacted, something had more likely than not gone wrong, meaning that whatever caused it was still here. “Dawn, go help Luster. I’ll patrol the area to make sure that whatever caused the mess she found isn’t still around.” He said. At the very least, it would help him take his mind off of what was going on. The unicorn then trotted away from the mare and slowly surveyed the area. At the moment, he couldn’t really do much anything else that would be of use. “This is probably a terrible idea, but at least I can keep them safe.” He thought to himself.
  20. To be honest, Yuki felt a pit form in her stomach at the mention of the seasonal maidens. The fox faunus had read a few stories in which they had been mentioned, but she never really gave them much thought. Of course, there was a part of her that wanted to believe that this wasn’t actually happening, and it onl took her a few seconds to find her voice. “Wait, what do you mean the winter maiden is dead? I thought that they were just fairy tales.” It was easy to see that Yuki was tense from the prior situation, and this wasn’t exactly helping.
  21. Yuki narrowed her eyes at the professor next to her, but nodded despite herself. Despite the wolf faunus’s habits, she probably would’ve been the first out there looking for him if such a thing was possible. At the moment, going out on her own would probably end up with her dead. “Thank you. I already know Draco will be ok, but I don’t want to lose another teammate.” She said, her voice, though a whisper, audible within the small space.
  22. Yuki sighed as she got on the elevator and leaned back against the wall. “Simething tells me that I’m not going to like this.” She thought to herself. The fox faunus had also noticed that her personality had changed ever since she had recieved her new abilities. Maybe they were the cause of that as well. It honestly wouldn’t surprise her at this point. “What’s going to be done about Ghalan?”
  23. To be honest, Clayton was only addressing Dawn when he asked his question. With that in mind, he quickly regained his train of thought and nodded. “I figured you could, given the fact that you’ve been on this team the longest.” The unicor then nodded towards Dawn, signaling that he had heard the mare. ”As for my own experiance, I’m pretty good with any weapon, but my masterpiece is definetly a scythe I made out of obsidion. Place a few enchantments on that, and you have a good, durable weapon. The only way it could improve would be if it could turn into some other weapon. A cannon, perhaps?” The unicorn then paused slightly and a light dusted his cheeks. “Sorry. I sometimes go off into my own little world when I talk about weapons, especially those that I make.”
  24. I am both scared and curious to at the same time.
