Hm...well, I made a post with a crackpot theory about it, but after further consideration...
...I'm going to go with a heart-shaped geode. Underneath her stony, stoic (and arguably "boring") appearance/behavior lies a beautiful, radiant soul. The thing is, I think that the inside of the geode is a little too "showy" for this humble pony. This is why she's never seen naked/wit...
