    Okay, somebody help, my tiles for window 8 on the start screen disappeared, and I'm trying to restore them back on.. how?

      maybe if you click on the programs and see if the "pin to start menu" option appears? tried it myself but it doesn't work for every program though

      Thank you for the help by the way... um if I restart the whole system all together, will it delete any games or or pictures I have or will it return the stuff that is missing and change the setting?

      I simple restart shouldn't delete anything. only reloading a backup save or reformating would do that. restarting your computer might refresh the menu and make some of them reappear though.
