I have been looking all over the interwebs for confirmation that cast and crew MIGHT leave the show due to fan threats over EQG, I have found nothing to support this except hearsay on Twitter. Until this is confirmed from one of the writers/actors themselves, I suggest avoiding discussion of this topic so as not to fan the flames of either side of the argument.

A target audience is no excuse for poor quality products on the professional level. The excuse of "a franchise in for [insert target audience]; the periphery demographic doesn't matter" is why we have a lot of crap on the air today.

The EQG trailer showed a couple of pieces of improvement (more consistency in the art and using the best character design option seen over the past several months), but the trailer gave away very huge plot points in its crammed minute-long preview. It's trying to hook the periphery demographic in, and it's not working, because it's telling me that they have no faith in the movie.

Villians always have the best musical numbers.
