So at my school they do this thing called interform where an entire year group goes against eachothers form groups. In the last one we were told to dress up as a funny team thing. From this pic, you can guess what our form chose! WARNING: this picture is 2 years old and is being posted because i am bored! If i was anymore bored, i would post my prom picture (yes, my prom picture is worse than this!). So, people of MLPF, enjoy, i guess.....

@@ThePiDay, what you suggest is practically the same as a suggestion that we had in the past about the edition of Status Updates, a classic IP.Board thing that requires heavy editing. Status Updates and Profile Commentaries are known to be incredibly difficult to customize in IP.Board, so it's a no, because of technical limitations.

@Lightwing is accurate in that this is not a function available at the moment. A more robust Status Update system is something that we would love to do, resources and time permitting ... but the likelihood of this materializing anytime in the near future is unlikely.

We appeaciate your suggestion, but technical limitations keep us from doing anything right now about that. Locking topic as its purpose has already been met.

@, Jeric showed perfectly the reasons of why this cannot be a thing. If a setting to delete the own posts existed, it could be too exploitable, in terms of being able to delete, as an example, the evidence of breaking the Global Rules, which could be a NSFW picture, or an example abusive behaviour. If the post is deleted, that person could get free due for the lack of evidence. Again, making a record of items and posts really useful.

Although we appreciate your suggestion, it's not something that we plan to do in the near future. Locking topic.

Here, in MLP Forums, we try to give our userbase the best possible experience, but we want that experience to be unique. If we made like other forums, what would make us different from those forums that you use as an example of places with, let's say, a random spam section? Only the name. Thus the "If I want to visit Kildare I won't go to Juneau." metaphor.

About the Forum Lounge, I like how it is structured right now. It offers a place to make nearly any kind of topic(as long as it meets the rules), and it is moderated just about enought to make those "random" topics to actually have a reason to exist. If a spammy section was added, its purpose would be defeated, because for each, let's say, shipping hype thread, there will be 500 topics of a word being repeated again and again, which is basically pure spam, and inside those 500 topics it may be a topic that actually goes against the rules, and the big spam would make finding it more difficult that it should.

General Chat Thread is basically a place where you can be a bit more random (as long as the global rules are met, of course), so if you want to be a bit more random, that's the best place to post!

I've always been a fan of Traditional Art over Digital, which always is a plus. Also, I love the design, which shows an example of "simplicity done well", without the need of extra decoration to give a good image of your oc.

Now this is something weird. I tried posting that same picture and I posted it like normal.

This is definetly something that is not normal. I will ping the tech staff inmediatly.

It's an occasional thing I'm afraid, I've been able to post .pngs from there before and since, it just sometimes seems to happen. If/when it happens again, I can post the link in here if that's any help?

You can try. The more information we have, the quickier we'll be able to act to try to resolve your issue.

I'm not sure if it is any help, but I've had this happen a few times to me before - I think it has happened on images from DeviantArt before, but I don't think that it's been limited to only that site (and I've been able to link to Deviant many other times without any issues). However, the image extensions have always been .png when it has happened.

This is weird, as Deviantart isn't in our black list of websites.

Could you try posting a picture here, please? Just to see if this issue repeats, or it was just something ocassional.
