    I think Luna going into other ponies dreams is a little...weird. But then again, if she didn't, we wouldn't have had that great scene with her and Scootaloo so I dunno Really? I think she was actually nicer than she has been, especially compared to season 2

    Well, I'd like to take things one step at a time. The Doctor does actually sometimes have more than one companion , though there still usually tends to be a "mane" companion, one that joins first and is more focused on than the others. For example, the Doctor met a girl named Rose in the first season and then she became his companion. Then a few episodes later, Rose's boyfriend Mickey started to become more and more relevant to the story until he started tagging along as well and became a secondary companion In other words, I like the idea of having more than one companion, but I'd rather that happen later on

    Don't worry, that's not how I play anyway. I try not to get people involved who don't want to be involved. My stories with the Doctor are usually pretty self contained

    Where is your character right now? What're they doing? The way I normally introduce the Doctor is by having him appear in the TARDIS near the character I'll be with right after he regenerates as a pony, and then have him discover it as he's introducing himself to the pony

    Why? I know it's not something that doesn't happen with most OCs or ponies in the show, but that's the whole reason I did it in the first place, it's unique and interesting

    I already explained that it's because she just never really found her calling. I don't think it's too absurd to believe that she hasn't figured out what her mane purpose in life is yet. I personally never really figured it out until just recently in my life, and I'm older than her (and even now I'm not entirely certain about it)

    What's a surprise? No I haven't been reading the RP (40 pages is too much for me). I just read through the RP's description and rules (and some of the first poasts), and it sounded like a good place for my OC And I think it works because my OC is a "drifter". Her entire life is all about traveling to new places and meeting new ponies

Because I was hoping to start small with the Doctor, with him meeting a companion or something and then start building up to some kind of adventure (that's how I usually play as him)

    I will point out that the Doctor is a little bit Mary Sue-ish, at least in terms of his abilities. The writers of DW like to make up abilities for him as the plot demands, or give him some kind of gadget that can help him defeat a foe or something. Not to mention his intelligence gets a bit exaggerated at times (though it's justified, considering he's been traveling all of time and space for over 900 years). However, this is all based around what the writers want him to do. If you don't want him to be a Mary Sue, he doesn't have to be. And I can probably think of a reason why he won't have his TARDIS, which will significantly lower his abilities

    So just to clarify, I'm allowed to play as the actual Doctor, right (in pony form, of course)? The Time Lord with the TARDIS and Sonic Screwdriver and stuff? I ask because you said this earlier: And I just want to be sure we're on the same page here

    Well, what I meant was that I thought you were saying I should play Time Turner, as a different character than the Doctor. Like how some people consider Derpy and Ditzy different characters Though if we're just talking about the name here, I think I can find a compromise: In Doctor Who, the Doctor commonly uses the fake human name "John Smith" to hide his Time Lord identity when he needs to. He could pretend to be a normal pony on the quest and just be using the name "Time Turner" for the same reason Well, thinking of a reason for why the Doctor would want to go on an expedition to some mysterious ruins would be pretty easy, since the show revolves around the idea of the Doctor traveling and exploring new places just for the hell of it

    Yeah I know, I just like saying poasts And it was even weirder for me :/ Well I've been RPing overall for probably over 7 years now (though I did start out as a script format poaster very early on, but I quickly grew out of it) And I thought I wasn't allowed to play as the Doctor? Cause I did say specifically the Doctor, not Time Turner

    All the poasts are me playing as the Doctor, since I haven't really been playing as anyone else recently. The first two poasts were from a massive crossover RP where the Doctor was interacting with the T-1000 (from Terminator). The other one was from another massive crossover where the Doctor was interacting with Garrus Vakarian (from Mass Effect) in an old western town. I was playing both Garrus and the Doctor in the last one

    Yeah, I meant the Doctor. I asked because I don't think my other characters are really suited for big, epic quest style stories, they're more fitting for low key, slice of life stuff
