Oh, hey, that reminds me! Someone was working on making an upgraded version of the Colecovision system, last year. I think I read about it on Atari Age forums, but I'm not sure. It was gonna have a cart slot that is compatible with CV games, and also extra RAM and some other upgrades, so homebrewers could have more flexibility when making games for it.

IIRC, they even licensed the original CV hardware from whoever owns the IP.

That would be awesome if that was true! Considering the system was impressive for its time, it'd be amazing to see what talented home brewers could do with the system in that case! Honestly, even with the FB systems, I would like to get my hands on the original consoles someday. <3

Something just fascinates me about the old consoles. The AVGN episode covering the two always continues to WOW me. Just...I love modern gaming, but classic gaming is awesome too. <3

Maybe I'll check it out. Ever since I watched Doctor Who I've kind of got a "taste" for Sci-Fi now. And plus I love it if a story is good no matter what it is.

I think you'll enjoy TIE Fighter then. A great story with some nice twists.

I never had sonic & knuckles. But I do have lots of respect for SA 1 too. I mean it wasn't that amazing but I never imagined that sonic would go on this mystical adventure. And playing with all the different characters was really interesting to me. I also think that game is why I love Tails so much.

I've been a Tails fan since Sonic 2. XD Of course, by the time I finally played SA I had already played some of the later games (Colors is awesome, BTW) so maybe some of the mystique had worn off by the time I got my own copy of the game, but still...very fun. They really tried with this game.

I really do love it, but I love stuff like that. Beings being contained in stuff to be released later only to come back to where they came. I don't know, I just liked tikal's story I guess.

Indeed, they are. I only have their first eight albums, but that'll change. I'm more into other forms of metal, but Sabbath will always rock. \m/

I know what ya mean. Kinda have a similar experience with Namco/Bandai's Tales games, but that's mostly due to scheduling conflicts with my bro, since we play those games together. Usually takes about a full year for us ta beat each Tales game. XD

Don't forget to pick up some cr2032 batteries for the VMUs. You should be able to buy Energizer branded ones in bulk, online, at digikey.com if ya are in the states,or somewhere else, for a really low price, but be aware shipping times will be kinda long since most couriors dont wanna put lithium batteries on planes.

Oh and try and get ahold of Skies of Arcadia, if it wasn't included, if ya like jrpgs.

Whoops! Accidentally hit submit. Anywho, SOA comes with a game called Pinta's Quest, for the VMU. You can beat SOA w/o playing Pinta's Quest, but its a Lotta fun.

@Nyan - Oh I know, but I was going for a new one, and I've seen them go for anywhere from $200 to $350 new with no games at all. Really, the main seller for me was the new console and the 69 games. Really, the DC was the console I REALLY wanted when it came out, but never got. Just fulfilling a childhood wish, hehe.

Certainly, however lore in plain sight is clever, I still prefer to you know, not have to play the game twice to understand it, especially a game as hard as dark souls.

I enjoy it don't get me -- okay sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes I hate it lol. But still, having to pick apart every detail is tedious and stressful. Ugh dark souls. I love you and your lore, but I cannot be bothered to do that, I'm too absent minded.
