Well the time has finally come... 7 years ago I joined this fandom... 4 1/2 years ago I joined this forum... now today is the day I leave it all behind, and don't look back. Me as a child would be very disappointed, as he always said "I'm staying a Brony until the very end" or something like that... how naive he was.
I've had lots of fun adventures on this forums... whether it be battling it out with my rival, dealing with foalnappers, exploring lands and universes beyond the horizon, viewing the world as a vengeful spirit, or fighting for my life for other's amusement. Even outside of roleplaying I've met some of the coolest guys and girls, some have also moved on, and some have forgotten our past. I've also made such regrettable mistakes... mistakes that still make me cringe in shame. But this is just growing up, looking back and remembering the journey... the good, and the bad. I don't want to make this overly emotional, so I'll get to the point... Thank you to those who made logging on everyday a fun experience over the years... and thank you to those who supported me during my darkest hours.
Farewell... and may The Light shine upon you, even during your darkest hours. -
My sister's birthday present arrives tomorrow... err today, giving me more than enough time for when her birthday arrives. I think she's gonna love it.
-
Just finished baking cookies with my family. Now I'm doing some last minute present wrapping with my sister while listening to some vocaloids.
-
Dunno what to do today. Play Hitman 2016 on the hardest difficulty, continue with Subnautica... or just dick around on the forums and YouTube all day.
-
A Hat In Time sold over a million copies... two of those being me... yes I bought the game twice. Anyways, this is good because this is proof that the collectathon platformer genre isn't dead. Hopefully we'll start to see more of them pop up in the future.

Really enjoying these new monitors. I had been using an old flat screen from 2011, and now when I look at videos or play games everything just looks so much clearer... like I'm seeing 60fps for the first time. Hell for all I know, I'am.
-
Managed to get gifts for all of my family... minus my youngest sister. I can't figure out anything she'd like, aside from a phone.
-
Damn, Christmas is sneaking up on me, and I haven't the foggiest clue what to get my family.
-
Oh jeez its December already? Never really been a fan of the cold, I much prefer warmer weather... I know, ironic.
-
So I took the HDMI cable from my capture card, and did some fiddling around with my second monitor. So not only did I get the second monitor working for my PC, I also arranged them in such a way it doesn't look like its falling off my desk
-
My new monitors finally arrived... now I have two screens... well sorta, I need to buy a new HDMI cable, then I can have two screens. One screen is going to be used for PC stuff, and the other will be used for PC gaming, and console gaming.

Ohh, so that's how I won the day back in 2017. I guess I was just really active that day, a lot of my brohooves are from me messing around on the forum games.
I was sure it was because of my opinion of the mod team... that got me 15 brohooves. -
Well managed to get the shield, but no sword and shield... what a shame. Ah well, nothing I can really do other than prepare for Majora's Mask's 20th anniversary (assuming there is an event for it in 2020). Since there are only two versions of that game instead of three like with OOT, should be a lot easier to do. Plus with a Majora's Mask randomizer coming soon I should know everything about the game by then.

Damn, I was laughing so hard to this video I actually fell asleep on the floor for a couple of hours. Now I have to figure out what to do for the rest of the night.
-
Thanks for helping me complete my collection.

Two more rupees to go... I have an idea of how to obtain a purple, but don't know how it works per say. As for red, I'm clueless... but that's never stopped me, I'll figure it out eventually and complete my collection.
So much for being clueless. All that's left is purple.-
Very first clue in the Rupee Hunt thread is for the Red one, iirc

Just tested Fallout 76 on the Xbox, and is it as bad as everyone says?... not really. It has a lot of assets and mechanics from Fallout 4 (my least favorite in the series) so there is little I understand about it. I don't like the perk system, and much would prefer how 3 and New Vegas did it... or hell even how 4 had their perks was okay. The graphics are garbage, but that was to be expected... Xbox One Classics aren't that good at rendering high quality graphics. FPS also took a dive at times, but nothing too noticeable. I've also been told this game is very boring when playing alone, and to that I'd have to disagree. I played for the first hour with my friend following me around, and it was fun... then he had to leave. So I played for a good 30 minutes solo, and it still felt like any other Fallout game. So no the game isn't boring when alone.
So my final opinion, the game does have its problems, but so does the Xbox One... so despite that I believe all its negative reputation is just Battlefront syndrome, where people complain about a good game being different. -
Oh hey, 200 rupees... and now I just got 5... now all I need is 1, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 500 and my collection will be complete.
-
Lot of hate towards Fallout 76, to the point where its becoming a meme. Gonna go have a look for myself and see if this game is really that bad... or if its a case of Battlefront syndrome where people whine about a game being different for views and likes.

No one plays battelfront games for lore, graphics don't matter at all, and I completely disagree about the fun gameplay. The servers were constantly unstable, there was no way for you to make a difference in battles because the team sizes were too large, and the progression was completely unbalanced (Because it was designed for lootboxes).
-
Ah nope, progression was perfectly fine before people started complaining. Lootboxes were removed before launch, but people still kept bashing the game. We had a system where you bought lootboxes with in game currency and would have a chance at gear you like, or you could scrap that shit and save up to buy the gear you like. I loved this system because it rewarded those who dedicated hours into getting good at the game. Now because people kept complaining everyone gets everything by level 30, and everyone has epic quality characters, which is bullshit.
As for servers, I've been playing since launch, and even beta... never had I experienced any problems with the server. And I play on Xbox One, which is suppose to be the worst of the consoles.
Also about making a difference, yeah one person can make a difference if skilled enough. I can recall two times I once held the entire enemy team at bay single handedly, in the first Battlefront. But that's the point of a team battle, everyone has to work together as a team, there is little room for a single hero.

Oh hey a gif banner... can't say I've seen one of those in the four years I've been here.

*Even more incomprehensible babbling*
*ded*
2019 is really starting to look up already.
