"Please, lower your weapon friend. I am a  mere storyteller and traveler sent here by another, perhaps to bring us farther into distraction," The unicorn says raising his forehoofs and away from his blade. He may have a smile but his face was serious, his eyes suggesting no harm but that Mythos did not want to wish time. He had a few ideas how to handle this but he would start by offering the pony before him the story of their plight.

Sighing, he continued with a long explanation, hoping this were to become clear but expecting it not to be so easy, by saying, "This, all of this is not real. The one you love most is being held captive, and if the one you love most is being shown next to you that is only a fake. Our enemy seems to have put us to sleep and somehow created for us our own little world in which we can be distracted from the the truth. The one you love most has been ponynapped! She is in danger!"

"You aren't going to listen to this guy are you, Crimson?" asked Violet. "This is complete nonsense! Everything here is real and you know it. This guy's just spreading lies! I'm much more interested in finding out how this guy got on our ship. I bet the answer has nothing to do with dreaming."

  2. sole shrugged "it's good to try new stuff, I'm proud of ya babe. But maybe we can find something else to do, some thing not so boring." He suggested, before nuzzling her affectionately and kissing her. "Actually... I've got nothing." He said sheepishly as he scratched the back of his head "how about you? Any ideas stony?" He asked.

(It's hard to think of something they can do that doesn't get perverted lol)

(I agree... Hopefully this wont last too long. I'm pretty much stalling at this point and I really don't know what to do. I should have thought this through better. If you don't want to reply until Mythos comes, that would be fine.)

Stoneheart leaned her head into his shoulder. "I suppose the first thing to do of the day is breakfast, right?"

    @,

"Ah, but you see I can't do that, whoever you may be," Mythos says smiling at the librarian Dusty Pages, who would never tell him not to worry about studying nor that he was never any good. She never told any foal this which told him yes this was not the mare he knew before continuing, "I don't know how your doing this but I want you to get out of my head so I can continue what I have started. Unless you want me to force you out." This last line was a threat, as he did not like having his mind, his head messes with. This was a very private place for him and there was many thoughts and memories he would not want any to have access to. He also considered his surrounding, trying to figure out how the one that had invaded his mind was doing this. It was not magic, especially not illusions, as far as he could tell. No, this was a different power but the question is what was it.

(, I need to control violet for this part.)

Dusty Pages smirked. "Very well. I knew that you would cause problems for me," she said in a different, softer voice. Her body became blurry like a smudged painting. The colors around her swirled together until her appearance changed to look like Femi. Her eyes shone through the rags that covered her face. "I see no reason to try to convince you further. You can see through my lies and for that, I am impressed. However, although your mind may be powerful enough to fight this, there is more than just your mind in this dream layered three. Your time is running short, your friends cannot see what you can. I am not the kind of overconfident fool that will linger to fight when I know there is an easier way to win. You will try to save those who came with you, and you will fail." After speaking, she faded away into the air like disbanding fog.

In the same manner, the library that surrounded Mythos disintegrated. It warped around like watercolors and faded away, replaced by something different.

Mythos was now standing in the cabin of a boat. Across from him he saw Crimson and Violet. Crimson had no memories of Mythos. To him, Mythos was a complete stranger who had no business being there.

"What is he doing here?" Violet asked Crimson.

  3. @

Mythos considered where he was and that he was in a library he hadn't been to in a while, he wasn't supposed to be here. He remember he was supposed to be helping a pony, saving them, somepony special to him... one that he had lost. A smile came to his face as he remembered and looking to the librarian he decided it may be good to ask his old friend a question on something the unicorn would not by his old earth pony librarian would.

With such he would walk towards the older pony and says warming, "Dusty Page, so nice to see you... your just the pony I want to see. You see Dusty there has been a detail I have never found in any book involving old Starswirl, that of what happened to him. After training Clover, after meeting the princesses... what happened to him and where did he go?"

The idea was simple, as it was clear some powerful magic or something else was in play here, that of forcing his opponent to let go of the deception. That by revealing it as not real, this trap he was in would become weaker... or at least that was the plan. The stallion got the feeling whoever did this was very good indeed.

"You needn't worry about your studies today Mythos." She replied "Today is a special day, don't you remember? Of course you don't. You never where very good at that sort of thing where you? Don't you worry, now it can be a surprise. You just stay here and don't ask any more questions. Everything's being taken care of, you don't need to worry."

Mythos' memory improved further. He suddenly remembered why he what he had been doing. He remembered that he had been trying to save Stardream, but he had no memory of actually rescuing her. He was being distracted and he had the feeling that if the illusion lasted for much longer, he would never be able to save her.

    "Don't worry," the librarian repeated.

Sole smirked at his wife and walked over to her "sure, anything for you stony. I just feel a little light headed is all." He said lovingly, as he sat down next to her. He didn't know why, but he felt as if he hadn't seen her in a while. So after a moment he cuddled closer to her "so whatchya reading beautiful?" He asked

"The most boring romance novel of all time. Something about vampires. It isn't any good." She closed the book and added, "Serves me right for trying something new. It was just hard to think of something else to do on a day like this."

Crimson had a dazed look on his face as he glanced warily around the cabin. "This...this is my quarters...that means I'm on the Blaze or Glory...but how? Wasn't I just...just...wait...what was I doing?" he mumbled, before noticing a few empty bottles on his desk, causing him to chuckle. "Oh...I see...hehe, I must have passed out drunk...but where's the crew? It's pretty damn quite out..." he thought. However, before Crimson could continue his suspicious thoughts, his sister Violet Rose, burst through the door with a cheerful smile on her face, one that cause Crimson's worries to be forgotten. "Brother! Your awake! I'm so glad! You should be careful with how much you drink though...you worry me sometimes..." she said, hugging him. Crimson chuckled and returned the hug. "Yeah, I sometimes I worry myself too...but I'll try to be more careful if it makes you feel any better, ok?" he said. Violet giggled and nodded. "Alright!" she said, nuzzling him. Crimson was completely and utterly under the spells influence now.

(I'm not sure how to reply to you since you seem to be controlling violet as well. do you mind waiting for mythos?)

  4. (@, @@@EquestrianScholar, I'm going to assume that Mythos walks inside with you. Mythos is going to be pretty useful for this next fight.)

As the three entered into the mansion, a sense of confusion washed over them. The three quickly began to forget what they were doing, where they where, and why there there. Quickly following was a feeling of exhaustion. They felt like they hadn't slept in weeks. Their eyelids grew heavy, their muscles were so tired that they couldn't even move. They still didn't know where they where and didn't know they were in any kind of danger. One by one they fell into the urge to sleep and collapsed onto the carpeted floor.

Crimson woke up in a cabin, a captain's cabin. He could feel the familiar sensation of a boat swaying to and fro. He tried to remember why he was in a boat but he couldn't actually remember why. However, despite not knowing why, everything felt very real. He was meant to be there for whatever reason.

Sole woke up in a lovely wooden house. The floor was a mixture of wood and stone and the walls were painted white. To his left, he saw Stoneheart reading an unlabeled book as she sat on a red couch. "Are you going to sit down?" She asked. "You look like something's bothering you."

Sole didn't remember what had happened, but he felt like he was supposed to be there. Everything felt real and he didn't have much of an urge to question what was happening.

Mythos awoke in a library. He recognized the interior as that of a library he had frequently been to as a child. The librarian was across the hall from him, stacking books.

Something was definitely wrong. He was beginning to remember what had been happening before, something about a mansion and demons. He knew he was supposed to be doing something important, and he strained to remember what it was. He knew that he had no reason to be in a library.

(Crimson and sole are pretty much convinced already that what is happening is real. You'll probably have to wait for Mythos to get to you. If you're worried about getting killed in your sleep, don't be. This is a psychic sleep and absolutely no time will pass in the real world from now until you wake up.)

With that action of dropping the device on the ground in his frustration, Roto anger of seemingly have not lasting effect on Mythos' body distracting him on the fact that both the blade that had been dropped and just now the button were both gone from sight. Yet was actually a creative deception, one that unicorn could not take full credit for the idea as it have been shown to him by another. While standing in front of another, make a copy of yourself at the same time of casting an invisibility spell. Thus leaving your audience to believe that your still standing before them when in truth you could be somewhere else on stage doing something completely different from illusionary copy before their eyes.

It was not until Roto could feel a very painful cut across her hind legs and then his neck with the clear intent of cutting it off though Mythos' blade could not have enough force to pull it off. Actually has he become visible his expression left no doubt he wanted the pony before him dead. His blade would work to make cut after cut over the body of his foe perhaps hoping if he was lucky to get Roto to the point where he would bleed out from his wounds or at least cripple the stallion.

(, , okay, sorry for the wait. you can post now.)

Roto collapsed onto the ground, feeling the pain of his fatal wounds but not knowing where they came from. His purple blood soaked into the dirt as he quickly lost consciousness.

Big Shot's mouth opened so wide that his cigar dropped to the floor. "What... just happened?" He asked aloud.

Mason chuckled a shrill laugh, then said, "It looks like we're the Yokai Four now."

"Why are you so damn calm!" Big Shot demanded. "Those assholes just killed half your damn team and now they're in my fucking house!"

"You must understand how we operate." Snowstorm explained. "We start with the weaker members then work up. It keeps us from having pathetic fighters in our group. The weak die."

"I have had enough time." Femi said. She had been meditating in a corner ever since the moment Katu left the room. "Let them enter. I am ready."

  6. He raised his hooves, a smile of his face growing as Mythos moves his mane out of the way to reveal no glow from his horn and saying, "I am not doing this, are you certain your not seeing things? Perhaps that little mind of yours has finally snapped and your losing focus... and to think your considered a professional." The stallion just stood there, arms open in an expression of open if defiant defenselessness a unicorn seemingly not even using his horn though perhaps he was simply focusing on doing all this without allowing his magic to be as easily detected. The howls on timberwolves become louder, as if the pack was getting closer. The fog and the brambles grow just a bit thicker as he says, "are you doing to continue to attack, perhaps see just how much you can harm me?"

(Sorry for the late reply. I had to replace my computer's battery. In order to make up the lost time, I'm taking some liberties to speed this up. We still have a lot to get through.)

Roto decided he'd had enough and he needed to end Mythos's life. Afterwards he could easily use the same threat on the others. He jumped out to where he thought the real Mythos was and swung his sickle blade at him, cutting deep into his chest. And drenching his coat in blood.

In reality, he had yet to even move. Mythos remained untouched.

In his state of illusion, Roto looked at Mythos as blood dripped down his chest and was puzzled to see he was still standing. It should have been impossible for him to stay standing. The howling became louder. "Stop standing and die!" He yelled. He then delivered what should have been a lethal cut to the throat and Mythos was still standing. He yelled in frustration and continued to slash away at the imaginary Mythos, screaming more and more wildly as he progressed. "DIE! DIE! DIE! WHY WON'T YOU DIE!?" His screaming continued until it was reduced to an angry grunt.

In reality, Roto was standing in place and shaking with anger. He lost his focus on the button and dropped it on the ground next to him.

"Why can't you die?" He murmured.

  7. Crimson scoffed. "Well, I hate to break it to you, pal...but I am this strong! And you wanna know something else? I'm even stronger! This isn't even my final form! ( :umad:) But you are right about one thing...I'm not a pony, I'm a demon..." he said, smiling evilly as his teeth glowed a dark red with heat, before lunging at Katu's throat, attempting to tear his jugular out.

((I made sure not to god mod...oh, and you mad bro?))

    (I'm wrapping this up.)

Katu blocked his throat with his hoofs and dug his hind legs into the ground as he struggled to keep back his opponent. He gritted his teeth as electricity swirled around him. I don't understand! He thought, He hasn't hesitated. He hasn't held back. He has to know he can't win! If not by me, then by another! He's actually willing to die! For her! What could he possibly gain from that?

Katu screamed loudly and released the energy he had built up, breaking Crimsons grip and separating them. "I've had enough of your..." He began to say before he looked down and saw his own, blue blood dripping down his body and pooling in the grass. He looked back up at Crimson and weakly said, "...Wow, you actually are something, huh?" He then fell flat onto the small pool of blood, unable to continue fighting.

('He seemed willing to actually take a few hits, his fragile unicorn body unlikely to take the blow well')

With the pony's focus on harming him, even damaging his face, Mythos takes the blade in his hoof and forces it down towards his opponent's throat as he moves to push him to the ground the position actually likely to be painful for Roto's forearm as the sharp edge moves near his exposed throat. There was a gleam in his eyes it would be clear the unicorn was willing to kill Roto if given the chance, opportunity, or more importantly a reason.

    (Did you read my PM?)

('He seemed willing to actually take a few hits, his fragile unicorn body unlikely to take the blow well')

The cut across his face hurt, and he would need to make sure it it healed before it scars, yet even with the pony's words he continued to smile as a strange fog begin to roll in. This fog grew thick, making it harder to see, and with this would come what would seem thick underbrush. Yet this was not all, howls could be hears... that of the howls of timberwolves coming towards where the battle and fighting of the ponies was taking place. For added effect Roto would begin to see glowing red eyes paring though the fog.

Roto stepped back and held the button high as a beed of sweat trickled down the side of his face. "You... You're just trying to scare me!" He said as his confidence began to return. "You aren't really going to do anything as long as I have the button! I'm the one with the power!"

  8. (Okie dokie lokie)

Sole cursed and jumped over him "you just don't quit do ya?!" He complained with a sigh as he landed behind him several feet away 'damn it, he's not even growing anymore. But all of that energy on top of my own... He's gotta be struggling with it all. One last shot.' He thought, before charging one final ball of chaos magic and holding it above his head "this is the part where I kick your ass..." He said, before throwing it at the ogre.

"Don't you see it's pointle-" He began to say before he felt an internal pressure ravaging his insides. He abruptly hunched over his bloated stomach and clenched it in pain. "What's happening?" He asked. "I feel... I feel weird... I-"

Cracks began to form in his skin as if he were a shattered vase. Blue light beamed through the expanding cracks and Oni screamed in agony. "GGGRRRAAAHHH!" He yelled. The light rays projected from his eyes and mouth and the cracks on his skin expanded all across his body. After a monumental build up, he burst like a balloon, briefly bathing the landscape in blue light. When the light cleared, there was no trace of Oni, no body, no mess.

(I decided not to make this as gross as it could have been.)

  9. (You two are almost done with your fights. Unfortunately, when you are finished, l need you both to not post until @EquestrianScholar finishes his fight as well. That way it will be like all three fights ended at the same time.)

Crimson smiled and tossed the knife away, before absorbing the net and quickly recycling it as energy. Crimson knew that he only had about a minute or two left before Ragestar was drained, so he attempted to end it quickly. "This fight is mine! Meteor punch!!" he yelled, before dashing at Katu with an intensely hot, flaming hoof, using a powerful jet of flame to propel him at incredible speeds at Katu, attempting to punch him with all his strength.

Katu tried to brace himself too late. He was struck in the jaw and was flung backward into the dirt. He slid on the ground several feet before he finally came to a rest. He slowly worked his way into a sitting position and rubbed the side of his injured jaw. "What are you!? There's no way you're a pony! You can't be this strong!" He yelled angrily.

Sole rolled back and out of the range of the blast and smiled "oh really? Well let's just see about that." He said, before creating a large ball of chaos magic, the largest amount he'd given him yet. It was almost as big as a fully grown pony. "Open wide fatass!" He roared, before throwing the giant orb at the ogre.

    (Is that too OP?)

    (No)

Oni absorbed the entire blast, but didn't expand. He seemed to be perfectly fine, but in fact his body was struggling to contain all of the energy inside of it.

"Don't you see? You can't beat me!" he said proudly. "I don't know why you keep trying the same thing, but feeding me more of your power isn't going to make me weaker!"

He charged at Sole with his massive, yet surprisingly mobile body.

  10. Crimson's eyes widened and he cursed, he didn't have enough time to dodge, and he couldn't twist it out of his hands, so he did something quite unexpected. Crimson quickly twisted and caught the blade in his teeth, growling before attempting to snap the knife in half as he tried to punch Katu in the face with a flaming hoof, he was almost out of energy, he would need to recharge soon.

Katu let go of the knife and careened into the ground. He was covered in soot and now had a bruise on his cheek. He crawled back to a standing position and coughed up a glob of blood before wiping his cheek. "I don't understand! He can't be this strong! No one but Rune has stronger techniques than me!" He swirled with more electrical energy than before and created an even larger energy ball. "You wont make a fool of me! STORM OF UNRELENTING TORMENT!" The orb created the same open net as before, but with greater intensity and a size too great to dodge. It would react violently with the metal knife in Crimsons teeth.

As sole watched him grow from his energy he got an idea... A terrible idea that was likely to get him killed, but still it was something. "There's more where that came from buddy..." He mumbled, before shooting more beams of magic at him. He was pumping out as much as possible in an attempt to make him overload on energy.

    (Hope this works... )

Oni expanded his belly so much that it touched the ground and supported his weight. He stopped baring down on Sole so that he could stand with all four hooves, though his stomach was barely a few inches off the ground. "When are you going to learn that you're only making me stronger?" he asked.

He opened his mouth and shot out a beam of Sole's own energy.

"Well then," Mythos say setting his blade on the ground and offering his chest for the pony to attack and giving as challange in a cold confidance words that would beckon him forward, "Show me what you got, lets see how badly your blade can hurt." He seemed willing to actually take a feq his, his fragile unicorn body unlikely to had the blow well.

('He seemed willing to actually take a feq his, his fragile unicorn body unlikely to had the blow well' I have absolutely no idea what that means.)

"Oh that's good!" Roto said happily. "I just love the look of forced submission! He he!" He winded back and made a shallow cut into Mythos' chest. Afterward, he looked at Mythos and frowned. "That look!" He said angrily, "I hate that look! I'm in complete control and yet you still have that look on your face like you're superior! WHIPE THAT LOOK OFF YOUR FACE!" He delivered another slice to mythos's left cheek.

  11. With a soft chuckle the clones disappear, the magic around the butten disappear, and the grey unicorn lowers his blade. Mythos' head was down but on looking up and into his opponents eyes and begins a staredown.

A smile was on his face as he says in a voice calm yet threating in tone, "well then, you have my attention little colt, what will you offer? Perhaps a game, a riddle perhaps? You think yourself smart, hiding behind a button that kills. I would not call the clever, I would call that weakness."

It was perhaps too clear the pony's actions hit.a nerve, the threat of killing the mare making the unicorn scornful and angry yet also willing for the moment to play by the sickle armed pony's terms.

"I'm not trying to be clever! I'm trying to win!" Roto said evilly. He hovered the button closer to himself. "Why train to be the best when you could have one of these? But I digress. I want you to stand still and let me hit you as much as I please! Unless you want her to die, you have no choice."

Crimson cursed and formed a fireball in his hooves. "Try this one! Hells storm!" he said, before throwing the fireball up into a the sky, making it explode into molten rain, which began to fall down on Katu.

(As long as you're in ragestar there's really nothing I can do.)

Katu charged at Crimson, dodging molten debris, but still being hit by a few that singed his coat. With his dagger ready he lunged at Crimson and aimed to puncture his chest.

Sole looked up just as his opponent started to tilt forward "oh shi-" he tried to say, before the full weight of the demon fell ontop of him. He barely had time to throw his arms up and hold hold it inches away from flattening him. He couldn't hold him up forever, he needed to do something or he'd be crushed. After a moment, he got an idea. "You still hungry? Then eat this!" He said, before firing beams of magic out of his eyes, aimed straight for his opponents own eyes.

Oni tilted up his head and opened his mouth. The beams were absorbed just like before and he grew again.

But something was different this time. He had stopped growing taller mid way through his 'meal' and instead had begun to grow wider.

"You've got a lot in you!" He said before using more strength to bare down on Sole. "At this rate, I wont have any room left for your body! I guess I'll just have to squish you like a bug!"

  12. What happened next was near immediate, as if the action begin as soon as the pony begin giving his treat. Both about to attack him were clones and exploded with a magical discharge not but a few seconds after the real Mythos teleported in front of and under the pony using his magic to create a small shied around the device so it would fall into his hooves.

Even for the most skilled of unicorns a complicated use of magic like this would have taxing, even damaging, effects on the body as the mind worked through the formulas needed and took what energy was need. Yet that was not all, for good measure Mythos had his blade in mouth moving it to stab the pony in the chest.

(gee, every time I try to do this my opponent always tries to muscle their way through instead of being clever.)

Roto fell onto the ground with a thud, but still concentrated his magic on the button. He wiggled the button to demonstrate that he still had control. "Let go of it now and put down the knife! That's my last warning! If I see you do one more thing I didn't tell you to do, I'm pressing the button! I'm the one with the power now!"

Crimson scoffed and easily absorbed the second attack. "Your not too bright, are you? Hehe, this is kinda pathetic...let's try this one...flame whip!" he said, before forming a flaming whip in his right hoof. He then used that whip to wrap around his opponents neck. "Eat this...sunset burst!" he said, before attempting to toss him over his head and smash him into the ground.

A burst of energy surrounded his body and disintegrated the whip and he landed on his four hoofs.

Katu knew that the Ragestar technique had to be draining a lot of energy from his opponent, all he had to do was wait until his energy was depleted. He pulled out a small dagger from his fabric belt and waited for Crimson to come closer.

Sole cursed and rolled out of the way at the last moment, but just as he did he punched at his chest again at his landed. But he didn't just punch one this time, now he let loose a hail of punches at the same spot he'd hit earlier, hoping to injure him. "Maybe you should go on a diet then!" He grunted in annoyance

(Yes, but he is the same type of demon as Goki was, he's just stronger. Chu was also that type of demon.)

The Ogre gritted his teeth as they started to effect him after repeated succession. He opened his front hoofs wide, leaned over sole, and simply fell on him, attempting to crush Sole under his weight.
