    The average speed of ground to air lightning is mach 500, minimum mach 300... and Rainbow Dash has dodged lightning at point blank range, behind her back(Season 4 opening)Arrogance doesn't really matter in this fight. You have someone who's, at most, slightly faster than most cars max speed, fighting against someone who's 150 to 250 times faster than a fighter jet? Applejack would be standing still, just like we'd be standing still to a bullet, or a lightning bolt. Even if we say Applejack is stronger, and whatever, she may just be, F=MA, which means even if RD just tackles her at those speeds, it would be like a skyscraper fell at her horizontally. Now let's say Applejack could kick her at those speeds, and RD can't dodge for some reason, how is Applejack grounding herself against this attack? The force of the attack would push her back and mitigate any damage to RD, unless Applejack is made of dark matter and weighs several hundred tons. This leaves RD free to try over and over again until she gets it right.

    @SparklingSwirls: which movie would you least want to see Disney bring back and reinvent from a different viewpoint? Or, which movie do you think should be rebooted?

    What Disney movie do you guys think least needs a reboot right now? I'm going with Fox and the Hound, but i'm sure there's better options.

    @Jeray2000: RD is ridiculously faster, mach 10(lowballing) is enough to outrun any jet, while Starscream was struggling to fight off normal ones. She could always vacuum cut him like the wonderbolts did Spike(Spikes skin, as a baby, is already stronger than steel) or Sonic Rainboom and let the shockwave blow him to pieces. But again, this is current gen Starscream, who's basically a jet.

    @Equestrian Scholar: Even seperating Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty wasn't enough to save that movie. It's just so...empty. Did anyone else notice that everybody not named Maleficent was a cardboard cutout with no personality? Angelina Jolie also had more dialogue than every other character combined?

    Depends on the Starscream: The one from the new Hasbro series gets crushed, since he's basically a glorified jet.

    The only earth pony that's capable of keeping even with a flying Rainbow Dash is Pinkie Pie(which would've been a better fight, the second fastest is those earth ponies that dragged the train in Appaloosa, so...about a couple hundred miles an hour untethered. And it's their job to run. Even at the ridiculously lowballed mach 10, RD is fast enough to repeatedly bombard Applejack with rainbooms from any height, or even pick her up and drop her, and there's nothing she could actually do about it. If Applejack happens to bring her lasso, RD chokes her out with it.

    Am I the only one terrified at the prospect of the future being nothing but an endless series of Disney's gritty reboots? Alice in Wonderland was eh, and Maleficent was gah, and supposedly they're planning to mess with another Disney princess...i'm scared.

    Uh,@miles? Rainbow Dash is not supersonic. Rainbow Dash is, at bare minimum, mach 300 from being able to outrun/outmanuver lightning bolts. There's no way Applejack is even seeing her coming, much less putting up a defense. She's also capable of doing a sonic rainboom going up,as well as horizontally(comics), so distance doesn't actually matter. Finally, the rainboom is not just a tackle, it's a shockwave(Lesson Zero), one that would probably liquefy Applejack at point of impact.

    I'm twisted.Pinkie Pie in season 4 is the best portrayal...but only in the spotlight. Even putting aside that...thing that happened with Fluttershy, whenever she wasn't the focus of an episode, she either contributed nothing or made things worse. Going from season 1 Pinkie Pie proclaiming that friends are all that matters to her to seeing Season 4 Pinkie completely forgetting about Fluttershy leaving for god knows how long in an instant over a shiny red balloon... it hurts.

    So... potential game changer here. Any reason Rainbow Dash can't perform the vacuum cut the Wonderbolts performed on Spike in Secrets of my Excess(the one they used to slice his scales off,as an adult?) and slice Applejack in half? Or sonic nukeboom her like she did like she did the barn in Lesson Zero from a dozen meters away and wipe her out? We could go into the double rainboom from the comics, but do we really need to? I like Applejack, but top tier pegasus>middle tier earth pony

    The thing that distinguishes us from the rest of the fangroups is our connectivity: we're able to work together as a group to accomplish things other, more secluded fandoms can't do outside of fancons. Because of that, the notable members of the fandom can't just copypasta, because we'd instantly know.So we can make original content with some consistency; That's the good thing.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Like a lot of bronies, I just dismissed it as something girly and useless. But then...something changed when I watched it. There's things I need to figure out about this show, things that I don't quite understand... How do I, in a few sentences, distinguish myself from everyone who's been here? I'm certain you've already had the bubblies, the depressed, the waxers, the downright lunatics... what makes me different?In a word-why?Sure I can be funny,hillarious actually, and downright serious, but it's always why that I fall back on. I need to "know things", and not knowing drives me up the wall. I like to invent rules and systems for why things work...and I'm staring at a Doctor Who shirt...and that's really weird.
