Somehow, I don't doubt that! Phthalates are estrogenic, after all. Still, short of eating rubber, I don't think the average person should worry about getting a high enough phthalate dose to cause this effect. As for something estrogenic that causes breast development AND is consumed in great amounts . . . ironically, beer!

Well, beer has ethanol, see, and that's a somewhat estrogenic compound. In the same way, you wouldn't expect something "natural" and "derived from grain" to cause retrograde memory loss and liver failure, either!
