Lektra Bolt

I'd like to request your interpretation of the character in my signature in EG style, please. She needs to have a bare midriff and a large (but NOT NSFW) chest size. Oh and the hair has to be long. Maybe a lab coat if you can manage it, but open in the front of course.

Without the magical robot though, since I don't think magic based robots exist in EG. Which means no robot in wing backpack mode, either.

Thanks people and @@Jeric. It works and I'll adjust like this I guess. I originally thought there was no way to see the code at all once submitted, so I'll just get used to the jumping around between the two modes to see the code when I need to.

I dunno. You guys can get drunk. Lektra likes to drink sweet stuff. She's also not one to start conversations, so somebody talk to her first lol.

We were looking in the forest for specific materials for an order placed by a client. I'd lost track of time a while ago and it was a bit late to just head home emptyhoofed. Even flying it would take too long to get there, especially since Sparky's flying mode was nowhere as close or maneuverable as a Pegasus. I was about to start cutting down trees or looking for a cave to spend the night when I saw a building in the distance. Was it an illusion? Seriously who puts a house in the middle of the Everfree Forest? It was a just a little too convenient, but we headed inside anyway. Sparky comfortably rode on my back in silence.

"Hi, welcome to The Prancing Pony Inn. What can I get you, Miss?" The older innkeeper greeted me nicely. He was a Unicorn. There seemed to be a couple others there already. I went by, nodding to them but not saying anything.

I smiled at him with the most fake smile I could muster, not really caring. "I'd like some oats and hay with flowers mixed in, and something sweet to wash it down. I'd also like a room for the night, please." Sparky got off my back and scanned the other ponies in the room with his eye beams. Harmless to others, it was designed to help us remember who we'd met and recall them later. "Oh, and some oil for my pet please."

He blinked as the beam passed through him but otherwise didn't complain. "Food and grape juice coming up." I was actually looking forward to that, expecting apple juice. A bit later he floated out my order and I went to a table with Sparky to eat. Sparky picked up the oil can in his left claw and started to drink from it like it was also juice. "You can have room 2." He said as I nodded to him silently.

I'll never get used to WYSIWIG being the default. I just find it unnatural is all, especially since it can bloat your character count for no reason and you wouldn't even know it. Would you rather have center codes around each line or around the whole post? Logically you want it around the entire post if it's going to be aligned one way.

Really surprised Invision has it this way.

Hmm I see. Well then I guess it means this thread is still valid. I'm looking for a way to have both the ability to see the code and also have the formatting controls work. At the same time.

Hmm thanks my friend! But that disables all other formatting options. Enhanced Mode typically has both.

The forum only has one mode for text editing. What you see is what you get. Once you put down code, save, and try to edit a post or signature again, you can never see the code ever. What if I want to pull the code out to use somewhere else? What if I made a mistake but don't have the raw code anymore? What if I just want to see all the forum code to see how many characters I have in my post?

Can we have a raw text option that makes all forum code visible please? I believe other forums call it Enhanced Editor.

I feel for this thread, but it's really not all that simple. It's not as simple as go into an operating room to come out looking like a the other gender and feel awesome.

I always appreciate constructive criticism. I feel like her history could be longer, and personality might be a bit disorganized. What do you think?

He woke up and looked at me really silly. I sighed, stopping putting electricity into the blanket to let it cool off. This was going to be one of those nights, wasn't it? A night I'd get next to no work done. I really felt like reaching out and slapping the visitor across the muzzle, but instead I decided to contemplate exactly how hard to hit him. I reached out with my magic for one of Sparky's dusting cloths and lightly smacked him with it. I was unsure if it had any effect, but at least it was clean. I then floated it back to rest on the mantelpiece.

"I brought you food. You should eat to get your strength up. There's some tasty daisies in the oats too. You'll like it I think. I know I do. Give me a second though." I then got up to head back to the kitchen to get the thermometer from its resting place. Floating it back with me I stuck it in his mouth before he could say anything.

"Now keep that in for a bit. You can eat afterwards." After a minute I checked it and he indeed was running a bit of a fever. "Oh this is not good. You have a bit of a fever. Maybe you caught a cold. I can make you a cold compress if it gets bad, just ask." I went back in the kitchen, put the thermometer away, and came back in the living room to sit back down in front of the visitor.

"I'm Lektra Bolt. And what's your name?"

See, I designed her in such a way that her talent can "scale" from canon Equestria to modern times to futuristic Trek-like without needing much change. Just history adjustments for that setting. In a futuristic setting she might be a tad overpowered since practically everything is technology, but I always know what I can and can't do do.

Well then I can't disappoint a person who loves my character. I think I can handle a leisurely pace for a social RP.

She needs a vacation.

I might have time depending on the activity level you require, and I like making friends IC or OOC and meeting people. I tend to meet cool people when I RP.

While I expected a completely modern-day-like pony like Back Track wouldn't work for you, magic can replace technology. If you consider that magic spells can replace technology, a purely mechanical 'robot' with a complicated enough spell for the artificial intelligence part can work out. I'll understand if you don't want to involve even magic based advancements either, though.

I'm not sure if I'll have time for this even if you would take me. I just wanted to offer an alternative.

I don't know anybody who could loan me a tool belt, but I could probably buy one.

The mane and tail are the main reason I made this thread, as well as clothes suggestions. The only thing I wouldn't make is her backpack.

She's in my signature, unless you have signatures disabled? I'm looking for very specific advice on things I'd need for this character as a costume. No idea where to start even.

I know what you mean about not wanting to own a copy of someone else's character.

For a fully posable figure of my character I could probably pay that much. I did spend 368 on a Con ticket recently. 400 would be the max I'd ever pay for this, but it sounds within my price range. Almost over, but it's in there. I'd still prefer 300 plus shipping, but I understand why the price would be so high. I might want to buy a Twilight from you once you start doing those. Maybe Celestia too.

Maybe I'm being too ambitious, but I really think once you get the process down to where only the manes/tails/wings are custom, you should think about a commission shop here on the forums.

Making Lektra with her robot in backpack mode might be a bit of a challenge though, especially since I'd want it removable.

Sun butt? Which one? Celestia or Sunset? Sunset has a sun mark too. You make it sound like Sunset is after Celestia. Also isn't Cadence part of the princesses?

I still think you can make at least a nice income on making people's custom characters. I can say I'd order Lektra.

It's a bit late for this year's Ponycon NYC, but I was thinking I'd like to dress up next year as my character in EG style. My character is female and I'm not, so that's going to be a challenge in itself. 

I was wondering what I would need to make the costume believable and where I'd get materials. Backpack not included, of course.
