James George Janos (July 15, 1951), better known as Jesse Ventura, is an American statesman, actor, author, and former professional wrestler who served as the 38th Governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003.
Ventura served as a Navy UDT during the Vietnam War. He later embarked on an 11-year professional wrestling career from 1975 to 1986, taking up the stage name Jesse "The Body" Ventura. He had a long tenure in the World Wrestling Federation as a performer and color commentator, and was inducted into the company's Hall of Fame in 2004. After leaving wrestling Ventura began a successful film career, appearing in films such as 1987's Predator. He also competed in the NWA Central States territory in Kansas City, NWA Pacific Northwest Wrestling in Portland, OR and NWA Hawaii. He is a former AWA World Tag Team Champion with Adrian Adonis.
Ventura first entered politics as Mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota from 1991 to 1995. He ran as the Reform Party candidate in the Minnesota gubernatorial election of 1998, running a campaign centered on grassroots events and unusual ads that implored citizens not to "vote for politics as usual". The campaign was successful, and Ventura served from January 4, 1999, to January 6, 2003, without running for a second term.
After leaving office, Ventura has hosted a number of TV shows and has also written several political books. Ventura currently lives in both Minnesota and near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Michael Shawn Hickenbottom (July 22, 1965), better known by his ring name Shawn Michaels, is an American former and retired professional wrestler, currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he has served in an ambassadorial role since December 2010. He actively wrestled for WWE, formerly the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), in every decade from the 1980s onward, officially retiring in 2010. He is considered one of WWE's senior performers, having consistently performed for the organization from 1988 to 2010, albeit in non-wrestling roles from 1998 to 2002.
Hickenbottom began his wrestling career with Mid-South Wrestling, now known as Universal Wrestling Federation, and American Wrestling Association (AWA). During his time with AWA, he performed in partnership with Marty Jannetty, as The Midnight Rockers; winning the AWA World Tag Team Championship twice. Hickenbottom and Jannetty briefly signed with World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1987, while in contract with AWA. They returned to AWA, only to go back to the WWF in 1988.
Hickenbottom later worked as a single performer, taking on a new persona of "The Heartbreak Kid" and, first as a villain and later as a fan favorite, moved into the main event sphere. He yielded considerable influence on booking decisions as the leader of The Kliq, a backstage group, which however fell apart in 1996. The following year, he teamed up with Hunter Hearst Hemsley, who often was referred to as Triple H (HHH), Chyna and Rick Rude to form D-Generation X (DX). This group of wrestlers was known for their sophomoric crude humor. That same year, Hickenbottom took part in one of the most controversial matches in wrestling history, dubbed as the "Montreal Screwjob." After a back injury forced him to retire following his WWF Championship loss at WrestleMania XIV, Hickenbottom opened a wrestling academy, called The Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy, in which he trained upcoming wrestlers. He made his in-ring return at SummerSlam in 2002. In 2006, Hickenbottom and Triple H briefly reformed DX, but after an injury that Triple H sustained, Hickenbottom returned to singles wrestling. Although as of 2009, the duo reunited as a tag team once more, with the two capturing the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship. At WrestleMania XXVI, Michaels was forced to retire from in-ring competition when he lost a career-threatening match. In December 2010, he signed a long-term deal with WWE, making his first live appearance at a WWE show since WrestleMania later that month. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2011.
Among other accolades, Hickenbottom is a four-time world champion: a three-time WWF Champion and a former World Heavyweight Champion. He was also the winner of the 1995 and 1996 Royal Rumbles and was the company's first Grand Slam Champion. He has also won the Slammy Award a record 11 times. Hickenbottom currently resides in San Antonio, Texas with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children.

Randall Mario Poffo, best known as "Macho Man" Randy Savage, was one of the most notable names of Professional Wrestling during The Eighties and a good portion of The Nineties, with a career spanning over 20 years. Managed for much of his career by his late wife Miss Elizabeth, Savage (whether a face or heel) was the perfect complement to Hulk Hogan; while Hogan did well with the kiddies, Savage's intense and more adult character (particularly his romance with Elizabeth) appealed to their parents, and his mix of power wrestling, high flying maneuvers, and blatant shoot-you-in-the-back cheating drew in the more 'traditional' wrestling fans who didn't pop for Five Moves of Doom and bodybuilder posedowns. A 2x WWE World Heavyweight Champion and 4x WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Savage would go on to wrestle Spider-Man, provide the voice of an intergalactic wrestler, hawk beef jerky and make a rap CD.
Savage passed away on May 20th, 2011 at the age of 58: after suffering a sudden, massive heart attack while driving, he lost control of his Jeep Wrangler and crashed into a tree. Initial reports of his death indicated that he had been killed in the collision, when in fact he and his wife had been wearing seatbelts and suffered only minor physical injuries in the crash.
On January 12, 2015, after years of hoping from the fans, it was announced that Savage would finally go in to the WWE Hall of Fame.

Steve Borden, Sr. (born March 20, 1959) is better known to wrestling fans as (The Man Called) Sting. Working as a professional wrestler since 1985, the majority of Sting's career saw him working in WCW, where he became one of the company's biggest stars during the 1990s. Sting stayed a member of the WCW roster up until the company's demise in 2001, feuding with the New World Order; he even wrestled in its last match, defeating his fellow veteran and longtime foe, Ric Flair.

In professional wrestling, he is best known for his work with WWE. Although he is Canadian, due to his Scottish heritage, he was billed as coming from Glasgow in Scotland and was known for his signature kilt and bagpipe entrance music. He earned the nickname "Rowdy" by displaying his trademark "Scottish" rage, spontaneity and quick wit, and despite being a crowd favorite for his rockstar-like persona, often played the villain; he was also nicknamed "Hot Rod".
Among his in-ring achievements, he is a former WWE Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion, a former WWE World Tag Team Champion with Ric Flair, and a former 3x NWA (Mid-Atlantic)/WCW United States Heavyweight Champion. He is best known for his work in WWE, its previous incarnation, the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) as Bret "The Hitman" Hart. He is a member of the famous Hart wrestling family.
Following success in amateur wrestling tournaments in high school and throughout Calgary. Hart debuted in professional wrestling in 1976 with his father, WWE Hall of Famer Stu Hart's promotion, Stampede Wrestling, and would wrestle alternately as a fan favorite and a villain for the duration of his career. In 1984, he signed with the WWF and was soon paired with brother-in-law Jim Neidhart to form the successful tag team The Hart Foundation, while also enjoying a singles career. WWF management separated the team in 1991, with Hart winning his first WWF Championship the following year, and becoming arguably the most popular professional wrestler in the world. Hart made appearances in the United States Wrestling Association (USWA) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) during his tenure, and eventually left the WWF for a lucrative World Championship Wrestling (WCW) contract following the Montreal Screwjob in 1997, where he enjoyed continued championship success until his retirement in 2000, due to injury. He continued to make non-wrestling appearances in promotions such as World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA), One Pro Wrestling (1PW) and Ring of Honor (ROH) for the remainder of the decade. He returned to WWE for live appearances and professional wrestling matches in 2010, where he has achieved further championship success, and briefly served as the General Manager of the Raw brand.
Widely regarded within the industry as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Hart has held championships in every decade since the 1970s, with a total of thirty-two held throughout his career. He is recognized by WWE as a seven-time World Champion: a five-time WWF Champion and two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and the second WWF Triple Crown Champion. Also a five-time WCW/WWE United States Champion (his four WCW reigns being the most in the history of the organization), he is tied for most reigns in history. In addition to championships, he is the 1994 Royal Rumble co-winner (with Lex Luger), and the only two-time King of the Ring in WWE history, having won the 1991 tournament and the first King of the Ring pay-per-view in 1993. Hart was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006 by former on-screen rival Stone Cold Steve Austin.

There are some people on this forum that might already know about this, but for the ones who don't, i tell it here.

I am Bisexual. I realized it since a few weeks, after i found out that i have a certain attractiveness towards man, which is something i kind of knew since 2013, but i only just recently accepted now. But i am not homosexual, since i am still attracted to Woman.

Which now brings me to my good friend LZRD WZRD.

LZRD and i know each other for over 2 months now. I met him after seeing one of his S5 Trailer Reviews and thinking that he was a very cool dude. I was PMing him a few times here on the Forums, saying how much i like his stuff, which he of course appreciated. The talks went a bit further, with me asking about him about other pony stuff, about movies we like, about music we like, etc. We then exchanged each others Skype and that's where i considered him a very good friend.

So we pretty much chatted with each other, almost everyday. We laughed with each other, debated with each other and did all the other stuff that friends do and i felt very close to him. That's where i thought "is there something more?" And just a few days later i thought "Oh god, i am in love with LZRD WZRD." I was very nervous, because i didn't know what to say to him. He also opened to me that he is Bisexual, but i didn't knew how he would react and i thought he would reject me.

One day, i took up the courage and opened my heart to LZRD WZRD. I told to him that we pretty much share each others secret and that we know how we care for each other, etc. Wouldn't you know it, he actually felt the same.

So yeah, LZRD WZRD and i are in love. I feel a very special connection to him, something i never felt before and we show our appreciation for each other very often.

I wanted to share this with the forum, because i also want to encourage other people who might also feel a bit hesitant to this situation. Trust me, it isn't so bad. Show your love to the ones you want to share it with.

Adam Joseph Copeland (October 30, 1973) is a Canadian actor and retired professional wrestler better known by his ring name Edge. He is best known for his time with WWE, formerly the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) for being the 2012 WWE Hall of Famer and the 11th time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Copeland was trained by former professional wrestlers Sweet Daddy Siki and Ron Hutchinson. Throughout the 1990s, he wrestled in North American independent promotions early in his career. During his time in these promotions, he competed in singles and tag team competition, the latter with Christian Cage, his storyline brother. In 1997, Copeland signed a developmental deal with the WWF and began competing for the company the following year.
After signing with the WWF, he began competing under the ring name Edge. In June 1999, he won the WWF Intercontinental Championship, making it his first title reign with the company. In mid-1999, he and Cage, now going by just Christian, formed an alliance of their own, which led to them winning the WWF Tag Team Championship on seven different occasions. During this time, they gained notoriety in the tag team division, partly due to their participation in Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches. The team, however, parted ways in 2001.
Overall, Edge has won 31 Championships in WWE, including eleven World Championships (four WWE Championships and a record seven World Heavyweight Championships), five Intercontinental Championships, one United States Championship, 14 Tag Team Championships (a record 12 World Tag Team Titles and two WWE Tag Team Championships), and is one of only two wrestlers (Kurt Angle being the other) who has held every currently active male Championship in WWE.
In addition to his Championship accolades, Copeland won the 2001 King of the Ring tournament, the inaugural Money in the Bank ladder match in 2005, and the Royal Rumble match in 2010 making him the only wrestler in history to achieve all three of those accomplishments.
Aside from professional wrestling, Copeland has appeared in the 2000 fantasy film Highlander: Endgame and made guest appearances on television shows, including The Weakest Link, Mind of Mencia, Deal or No Deal, and MADtv.

Seriously, did you buy anything that i said about this place, being the most super special awesome 20% cooler place on the internet? Well that was a lie.

For example, the part about MLP Ice creambars? The last thing you guys need, are more Ice creambars.

I found this very unique avatar and i created this Hypnosparkle persona, because i know that your brains are so small, that you just stare and say "Durr what a very unique Avatar. I will become his friend." Because the truth about this Forum, no, the truth about this entire fandom, is that it dosen't matter who you are, aslong as your boring tastes appeals to bronies.

Why do people like Livingtombstone get so popular? Because Bronies like to listen to boring music, which they have no sense of to begin with. Why do people like Tommyoliver get so popular? Because, like i said earlier, Bronies brains are to small to have some kind of opinion, so they rather go to someone and get it there. I could go on, about these so called "horsefamous" guys, but i think i made my point, if you can actually follow.

Everything i said, you ate from my hand, but that's the way it is and that's the way you want it and that's the way you handle it. It's easy, it's simple to digest. You people can't handle anything complicated, you people can't stomach anything interesting, it's been like this since the beginning of this fandom. "We watch colorful horsies and talk about it, while our lifes are going down the drain."

There are good guys and there are bad guys and believe me my little horsy fans i am a very bad guy and i admit it.

Now one more thing before i leave this place. Don't believe anything that a guy says on a blog, during the first april. Because he might just prank you into believing his entire story. If you got to this part and now breath a sigh of relief, then i am terribly sorry that i scared you this much.

    Happy April fools day everybody.

This is a show that recently came through my mind and that i haven't seen in almost 2 decades.

Starship Sagittarius (in japan called Uchusen Sagittarius) was a sci-fi anime that aired in 1986-1987 for 77 episodes.

The series depicts the adventures of four astronauts who travel through space and visit many planets. On each planet they have an adventure. Each adventure seems to have a sort of morality, like the importance of friendship or about the state of the enviroment.

It had alot of humor in it, but it also dealt with very mature themes at some points. like war, the dangers of nuclear wars, protection of the enviroment, slavery, alcoholism, etc. This all sounds very serious but it*s done in a way that kids can still watch this.

I just recently found the japanese dub with subtitles on it on Youtube with all 77 episodes. It's a very interesting show to say the least.

I have to say first, that i love the NXT shows and it's one of the best things, that WWE has going right now.

Let us look at the concept of NXT. It's basically there, to attract wrestling fans who don't usually like the WWE product to the network. The same with the cruiserweight classics. It's basically trying to be the ultimate 'indie' promotion, drawing off all the talent from the actual indie promotions. It's Vince's latest way to dominate wrestling. If the WWE can do indie wrestling, with all the best indie talent, and with their superior production values, how is any other promotion going to rise?

People have to understand the WWE's business model in 2016 is to get anyone with any kind of interest in pro wrestling, WWE or otherwise, to subscribe to the network and pay them 9.99 a month. Raw ratings don't matter, as long as they stay healthy enough to keep the show on the air and draw in a reasonable amount of new consumers. It's basically like a loss leader for the WWE: protecting their prestige and maintaining mainstream presence. But the ratings don't need to be huge. Their profit is in merchandise (hence their obsession with merchandisable catchphrases and visual gimmicks) and the network. Yes, guys like Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode are huge with a certain portion of the pro wrestling audience so why put them on Raw or Smackdown and give them away for free when they can put them behind a pay wall? Are you a fan of NJPW? Well, guess what, you can't see Nakamura anymore unless you subscribe to the WWE network. Are you a fan of TNA? Guess what? We have Bobby Roode here. It makes total sense when you understand the WWE's business model. Do they 'need' Nakamura and Roode on the 'main roster'? No, they probably won't affect their audience numbers as they won't be well known to casual fans. Do they care if Nakamura's and roode's careers are 'wasted' playing to a small audience? Of course they don't. NXT is not a developmental department, it's a marketing strategy.

The reason why i make a blog about this particular HOF entry, is because he wasn't leaked, compared to the Godfather and the Fabulous Freebirds. I am really one of those people who think that it should've happend 5 years ago already. But i am proud that the late great Big Bossman is finally in.

If you ever take a trip down to Cobb County, Georgia.
You better read the signs Respect the law and order.
You'll serve hard times. You'll be serving hard times.
You know the Big Boss Man will make you walk the line.
You better watch out boy or you'll be serving hard time.

I know, it's just a trailer. But it already mostly sums up Jims feelings of that time.

I just recently watched the whole shoot interview and Cornette, who i have a love/hate relationship with, since he likes to dump on the current wrestling product every chance he gets, i like to listen to his active time in the 80s and 90s. He is like your grandpa, who has his good and bad days. But if he's good, you are the best pals.

WCW was just founded, after Ted Turner bought Jim Crockett Promotions and Jim Herd, who was running the company at the time, wanted to pretty much make it like a WWF clone, eventhough the guys in the south at that time, didn't wanted to see stuff like that, not to mention the main booker George Scott, who was an absolute goofball, had no idea of the current product at that time and had no idea about any of the NWA guys in the 80s, because he worked for Vince at the time and was only focused on WWF.

If you come across the full shoot interview, through whatever means, please watch it. It's so great.

3 days after my glorious birthday, something different big happend in my city and something happend almost every year there in my city. The CWA Catch Cup was wreaking havoc in Bremen.

Small history, the CWA was the league of Austrian Otto Wanz, former AWA world heavyweight champion. Every year, he held a 7 day show in Bremen called the catch cup and it was always during Christmas time, in the Bremen Stadhalle. We had some of the biggest stars there. Otto Wanz, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Jushin Thunder Liger, Andre the Giant, etc. When it comes to me, Bremen and the CWA, is like New York City and the WWE/F. We had the biggest and best Wrestling audience in all of germany.

This here is Bull Power (who many known him as Vader, from his WCW and WWF days) vs. the owner Otto Wanz, for the CWA heavyweight championship, which Power held at the time.

    Have fun.

Beckenbauer (also known by his nickname "Der Kaiser") is still considered the greatest german footballer of all time and one of the all time greats in general.

Beckenbauer made his Bundesliga Debut for Bayern Munich in 1964 with 18 years of age and won his first title 2 years later, when he won the german cup. He went on to represent Germany in the 1966 World Cup in England, where he was voted the best young player of the tournament and finished 2nd with Germany, behind world champions England.

The years after that, Beckenbauer was winning one title after another. He won the european cup winners cup in 1967 with Bayern Munich, won the German championship in 1969, won the german championship 3 times in a row between 1972 and 1974 and won the european champions cup between 1974 and 1976. His career highlights though, must have been winning the european championship in 1972 and the world championship in Germany in 1974, against the "total voetbal" team from Holland, that was captained by Johan Cruyff.

In 1977, Beckenbauer ended his active Career at Bayern Munich and the German team and went to New York Cosmos in the US, with his buddy Pele, where he won the North American Soccer League 3 times (1977, 1978, 1980.) It was a promotion tactic to spread the sport around the US.

After that, Beckenbauer returned to Germany and played 2 more years at the Hamburger Sport Verein in Hamburg, where he became german champion once again, in 1982. This was the end of his active playing career.

Beckenbauer took a 2 year break, until he took the job as coach of the german national team in 1984, eventhough he had no official coach license. To the surprise of all, Beckenbauer took the germans all the way to the World Cup final in Mexico, where they lost to Diego Maradonas Argentina. After that, Germany played in the euros of 1988 in Germany, where they lost to arch rivals and later champions Holland in the Semis. Beckenbauers greatest hour as coach came, when Germany won the 1990 World Cup in Italy, facing Maradonas Argentina again and getting Revenge. Beckenbauer is with Mario Zagallo from Brazil, the only man who became world champ as an active player and as a coach.

Beckenbauer left the German team afterwards and coached Olympique de Marseille in France for one year, where he even reached the European champions cup final, which they lost to Red Star Belgrade. After that, he went back to Bayern Munich where he became Vice President and 3 years later became president, holding that position for 15 years. Besides being President of Bayern, he was Vice President of the german football association from 1997 till 2010, was member of the FIFA executive Commitee from 2007 till 2011 and was responsible for bringing the World Cup tournament in 2006 back to Germany.

Some people might love him and some people might hate him, but you have to respect what he did for the great sport of Football, especially here in Germany.

    Alles gute zum Geburtstag Franzl.
