    Let this sink in guys...AJ Styles, a guy who fans used to call "Mr.TNA" is the new WWE Champion. I have waited 14 years for this moment, to be reality.
     
    I still remember me and my brother fetching the TNA Tapes from the Asylum years when i was 12. I saw AJ back then and all i can think was "who is that little devil?" Between all the other unknown stars at that time, AJ was the guy who sprung out the most.
     
    I followed his whole career. He had legendary matches in TNA with Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Abyss, Sting, Kurt Angle, etc. and he won the NWA title 3 times and the TNA Title 2 times. He then went to New Japan in 2014, where he defeated Kazuchika Okada in his very first match, to become IWGP Heavyweight champion and became the leader of the bullet club. He had legendary matches with guys like Minoru Suzuki and Shinsuke Nakamura, where he was able to improve his style, to get used to the fast japanese style.
     
    When he came to WWE This year in January, some people where actually thinking that he would get buried. At the beginning, it seemed like it, losing his feuds with Jericho and Roman Reigns. Then he had his feud against John Cena, which lead to his great match at Summerslam, which to the shock of most, he won clean, against a man, who is notoriously famous for burying talent. And now, he is the WWE Champ.
     
    Ladies and Gentleman, i think i don't exagerrate when i say, that AJ Styles can truly be considered, one of the greatest of all time.

    The Wrestling world mourns, from the death of one of it's most iconic late 80s characters. Harry Fujiwara, who was most famously known as Mr.Fuji in the WWE in the late 80s and 90s, died at the age of 81.
     
    His most famous role, was being a manager, playing a mostly sneaky japanese stereotype, calling himself "the always devious." The most famous wrestlers he managed whered Don Muraco, the powers of Pain, The Orient Express and WWE Champion Yokozuna.
     
    He was also an accomplished wrestler in the 60s and 70s, winning numerous territory titles around the world, like the canadian heavyweight title in maple leaf wrestling and the WWC North American Heavyweight Championship.
     
    If there is a heaven, i can imagine that fuji threw salt at st.peter to enter.
     
    Rest in Peace Mr.Fuji. You'll be missed.

    Wanna know what happens, when you don't give wrestlers a script? Magic happens:
     

     
    This is one of the best promos i have seen on WWE Television, in awhile. The Miz and Daniel Bryan make one hell of a great promo, by bringing in a little pinch of reality into it, turning it into a very serious matter and making the fans actually care for the wrestlers that are in.
     
    I will admit, i was never a big fan of miz, but here he really shows what it means, to be a phenomenal heel. Alot of people know, that the retirement hit Daniel Bryan very very hard and Miz calling him out on it, makes him look like such an a-hole, that you can't help, but love to hate him and this is what makes a great heel.
     
    This what is missing alot, in mainstream wrestling, bad guys that you love to hate and i for one applaud the miz, for giving me back this feeling. Chapeau.

    You know, i admit i criticize TNA here and there for what they do today. But i would like to do some promotion for their Youtube Page today.
     
    They have uploaded their first few PPVs from 2002, which where called the Asylum Years. Back then, TNA was still financed by the National Wrestling Alliance and the NWA World Heavyweight title was fought out there. It was NWAs way, to find back into the mainstream again. And they didn't had weekly shows, but weekly PPVs.
     
    Announcers at that time where Don West and "Iron" Mike Tenay, who was previously working for WCW.

    This sunday, something truly historical happend. Not like something promotions like WWE or TNA use as a marketing gimmick, oh no. This truly is history.
     
    Kenny Omega, the leader of the real bullet club, is the first Gaijin (a japanese term for foreigner) in the 26 year history of the G1 Climax tournament, to win the whole thing. He is one of the top guys right now, in the prowrestling business and at the first wednesday of the new year, he will face the IWGP Heavyweight champion (right now Kazuchika Okada) in the main event of Wrestle Kingdom XI in the Tokyo Dome.
     
    If people ask me, WWE or TNA, i just say New Japan.

    I wonder how many of you actually remember Ecco the Dolphin? He was a character created by Sega in 1993. He had two great games on the Genesis/Mega Drive and a Dreamcast game i never played.
     
    Even less remember that there was a Sega CD version of the original Ecco the Dolphin game. It's pretty much the same game. But what sets it apart is an amazing soundtrack, that takes full use of it's CD based technology at that time and is probably one of the most underrated soundtracks, of the 16-bit era.

    (I might step on some people with my opinion. But i don't write this to hurt anybody. In the end, it's just my opinion.)
     
    There have been a number of many people, who demonized the Rio olympics for being held in a country with corruption, a poor society and the infamous zika virus, to the point that they simply don't want to watch these olympics.
     
    First of all, i want to make clear, that this is not what i am here to talk about. I always tried to not bring in politics into international sports events, because in my opinion they shouldn't belong in there.
     
    The Olympics for me, is more then just a mere sports event. It is THE Sports Event. Athletes from all around the World, come to one place, to compete in a friendly competition. It dosen't matter where they come from. It dosen't matter what religion they are part of and it dosen't matter what political believes they have. All they care about is the sport and to give their best.
     
    I think especially in times like these, where everybody is paranoid about death and terrorism being behind every corner, it is a great sign of peace and trust, for these athletes from all different cultures, to be all living in one place for almost 3 weeks. Be it Americans and Russians, South Koreans and North Koreans, or even Israelis and Palestinians.
     
    Some might call it cheesy, but i am a firm believer in the olympic spirit. Olympians don't get alot of money for competing, compared to Football/Soccer, Tennis, or Golf Tournaments, which puts the focus on the sport and the glory even more and i think this is a good sign.
     
    As i am writing this, i am watching synchronized diving and i am amazed by these great athletes. And i continue to have lots of fun.

    It's been awhile since i made one of these, but this time i thought i make something a bit more therapeutic. This is for everybody, that might suffer depression and feel very alone.
     
    Try to give yourself a few minutes of relaxation and listen to it. Making you realize you're not really alone.

    This was the first time in a long time, that i actually watched a TNA match. But after so many telling me, about how great this feud was and how this was supposed to be literally the greatest thing in wrestling, i had to give it a shot.
     
    I will be very short here. I really didn't liked it, if i want to be honest. I will give TNA that, it was a very unique experiment and i have to tip my hat to them. But what most people don't realize is, that unique isn't automatically good. The finish was incredibly anti climactic for me and i just think, that this kinda stuff is just not something, that really works in wrestling.
     
    People who say, that this is a Match of the Year, have no idea about Professional Wrestling and need to watch NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10.

    Okay, before i say anything here in this blog, i need to make something clear. This is not a bashing blog against Zootopia. This is more or less a blog about my personal feelings about Disney and the possible direction Disney is going in the future.
     
    For the people who know me, they know i've been a big Disney fan, ever since i knew what to do with a VCR (3 years old.) I pretty much watched all the classic movies back then and everytime i watch these movies, i get a sense of warmness from them. Most of these worlds where so colorful and had so many wonderful characters and you can pretty much lose yourself in these worlds and i can still do it, eventhough i am 26 Years old.
     
    Now, today, at the time where i wrote this blog, i just came back from watching Zootopia. I heard alot of good things about it, but i never really cared to look up any sort of information for it. But i kinda feel like that this is not a movie for me and i think most classic disney fans out there are of the same opinion (just speculation of course.)
     
    First off, it's not a movie i can lose myself in, because it's pretty much the real world and i don't feel any sense of wonder from it. I can go out and pretty much see the same thing. Second of all, this movie is way too political for me. It's mostly about racial differences. When i wanna watch a disney movie, i don't really care about that. Politics are not part of my disney fantasies.
     
    I actually wanted to write a review about this movie, before i watched this movie. But i feel like this would be very unfair. I would've said it's okay, but then people would probably say otherwise and defend the hell out of this movie (who am i kidding, people will probably still come and defend it.) I will say that i liked the relationship between nick and Judy, but this movie just lacked the atmosphere for me, to really get invested into their relationship.
     

    Now, as i recently heard, the movie actually made a billion dollars and seems to be one of the best reviewed movies this year. What does this say about Disney and their direction in the future? Will they make more movies like this? Can i still hope for another classic disney movie, that is based on a book? Or is the disney i know gone now?
     
    If the disney i know is dead, i will just take it with a heavy heart and leave the party, because i don't wanna rant about the "good ol times" year after year. People apparently love Zootopia and that's okay. I don't wanna spit in their soup, as long as they don't spit in mine.
     
    If anybody asked me, to choose between going hunting criminals with Judy and Nick, or to go into the cave of wonders with Aladdin, i think i pick the latter one.

    I recently watched this movie again, with the original one, after i heard everybody and LZRD WZRD talking about how bad the Lion Guard is (and believe me, it is) i had a certain rush of Nostalgia coming over me, thinking what the Lion King actually meant in my childhood. The original one, still remains a Masterpiece for me, when it comes to Animation. When it comes to the second one...let's find out.
     
    The Lion King came out when i was just at the age of 5. It was the first movie I can recall seeing on the big screen, and once again, Disney didn't disappoint me. By the time this sequel came out four years later, I didn't immediatly saw it, but i did hear about it. The only straight-to-video Disney sequels at that time, were the two Aladdin ones. However, after i turned 12 or so, I have watched some more of these sequels, even though they never seem to be nearly as good as their theatrical predecessors, and this particular one is sadly no exception.
     
    Now that Simba and Nala are married, they give birth to Kiara, destined to become Queen. While she is a cub, Timon and Pumbaa are assigned to keep an eye on her when she goes out, but they are not very good at it. Under no supervision, she wanders off to the forbidden Outlands, where Scar's exiled followers now dwell! Here, she meets a young cub named Kovu, and surprisingly, they become friends! However, they do not see each other for long, as Simba and Zira (Kovu's mother) soon show up. After this, Kiara and Kovu don't see each other again until they are older, when Kovu saves Kiara from a fire! After this, he claims he is no longer part of the Outlands, and Simba is required by law to accept him into the Pridelands. However, Kovu has actually been sent to kill Simba and take over the land! Will he really do this?
     
    The original Lion King has a lot going for it, including several classic songs, excellent animation, a suspenseful and often touching story, and good humour. The Lion King II: Simba's Pride definitely has some of those things, but to a lesser degree. I would say there definitely are some good songs, especially He lives in you, which was sung on Radio by Tina Turner and we are one, but i think there also some forgettable ones. So, not Disney's worst bunch of songs, but not their best. The animation, while still impressive, I think is just slightly downhill from that of the original, though not enough to really disappoint me. There's a bit of suspense in this sequel, mostly towards the end, but not a lot, and i certainly didn't find as much touching about the story. Lastly, there is a bit of humour, but not enough. The scene where Rafiki is skeptical while communicating with Mufasa is good for some laughs, and in addition to that, Timon and Pumbaa are sometimes funny, but unlike before, they only seem to bring an occasional laugh or smile. Zazu provides a lot of humour in the original, but in this sequel, he is more of a minor character, and is no longer humorous at all! I guess this is partly because he is no longer voiced by Rowan Atkinson (you can easily tell it's not the same voice).
     
    While watching this movie, i just couldn't seem to really get into it for the most part. For me, it seemed to get a bit better towards the end, and if it wasn't for that, I would probably give it no more than a 5/10. So, while I'm not one of the haters, u can see why this sequel has disappointed so many fans of its classic theatrical predecessor. These non-theatrical sequels from Disney clearly never get as much recognition as their theatrical predecessors, and i don't think most of them, if any of them, deserve to. If you like The Lion King, you might be curious as to where the story goes from there, but you just MIGHT be in for a pretty lousy experience. If not, you might enjoy The Lion King II: Simba's Pride somewhat, but obviously, like most sequels, you can expect it to be inferior.
