Please use your reading eyes before using your typing appendages. Tanks. Sketch Requests are: Open Hey there. I'm doing free sketches for a while. Using your ideas for my daily practice and warm-ups. Quality is probably gonna be hit or miss cause I'll only be spending like, 5-10 mins on any one sketch. If there is lots of requests I'll probably be jumping around between what sounds interesting. That said if I miss your request, sorry, but it's bound to happen. If you really want something from me, commission me, I have a shop on the forums, otherwise remember what your paying for these freebies and no complaints. I won't be able to handle the pressure and I might blow up =D What you can expect: And more examples of sketches here. I need at least 2 things when you submit a request. The Request. A link to some music you like, youtube or soundcloud preferred; consider it payment. Optional (but appreciated): reference if you want an OC or a particular pose or something. Tips: I'll pretty happily do non-pony requests as well if you want something from some other cartoon or game or whatever. It'll be nice in fact to toss a couple into the mix. A lot of it has to do with a few brushes that for the life of me I can't recall where I got. They aren't overly special or anything, they were made to be big square filler brushes and they have a bit of a texture built in.

Playing more with some different coloring method. Also more Scoots.

I started posting parts of the comic the other day here. In some ways I agree with you on the names thing, and there are a few reasons I chose not to use 'pony-like' names. One; I'm not great at making pony names I actually like. Two; 'real' names have some historic meanings I can play with that a made up name can't as easily do. Three; the comic series as a whole has a lot going on 'in the background', not so much literally but more in the messages I'm trying to send, using 'real' names I feel helps the characters be a bit more relatable and in turn I hope helps my messages have a bit more impact. Finally, theres a lot of 'real' names I like but never hear or get to use, now I can XD.

Thanks, and I'm pretty happy with them, so I'm glad you are too Ya, I'll deffs put something up when I do. I have a bit of spare time today I didn't expect to have so I may very well get the first one up and out today. We'll see. It'll be a tumblr thing for the most part, copies will end up here, my DA,and probably derpi and r/mylittlepony as well, and then where ever anyone else ends up taking it; it'll be around.

I've had a comic concept in my head for several months now and only recently was able to develop some characters that felt right for it. These two are the main characters. Fionnuala is technically the "main" character but the two will mostly go together. For the record, Fionnuala is an Irish name, pronounced fin-OO-la, but for the most part she'll be going by Nola. Cassandra will often go by Cassie or just Cass. This will be the first comic I've done that actually has a 'story'. It'll be essentially a slice-of-life type story, with a general theme I refuse to release just yet. I already have the first 7 or so strips semi-planned. So I'm looking forward to getting them started. What do you think about them from a design standpoint? Do thay look original enough to not be confused with other characters; I didn't really reference them from anything so if they do look like other OCs or canon characters its entirely a fluke.
