I thought that I was just seeing people hate Rarity because I love her. Rainbow Dash is not my favorite pony, but I'm also noticing hate towards her. So there is no bias involved. I used to hate Rainbow Dash though...

Some of her flaws can cause more problems, too. For example, when she's stressed, she has trouble focusing her magic to fuse gems to metals. That was a problem when she was trying to fuse diamonds to platinum for a ring while stressed out. She's partially rich from inheritance and partially rich from owning a shop.

None of the authors who have written bestsellers were that good from the start, they had to write a lot before reaching their current skill level. I have this from an author who writes some of the best books I have ever seen, too.

That isn't shallow. You just make your OCs in a different fashion. A fair amount of people draw their OCs first, then figure out their personality from the appearance.

I think so. Rarity does have the least fans in the overall fandom, though. Well, her or Applejack. I think Applejack has less fans, but Rarity has more haters.
